1.10 Friday Faves
Sharing this weekโs Friday Faves roundup and praying for all of my friends affected by the California fires. If youโre looking for ways to help, check out this link.ย
Hi friends! Happy Friday! How was the week? I hope it was a great one. It was the kidsโ first week back at school and while waking up was a struggglllleeee, weโre all officially back into the routine. We also got a random cold snap and it went from being 70 degrees to 30! BLAH.
(The roses have been blooming like crazy with the warmer weather)
A big highlight of the week was that Liv turned 13. I canโt.even.believe it. They say time flies, and itโs true. Sheโs always been an introspective, kind, brilliant star, and itโs been so amazing to watch her grow. She does the BEST impressions, is sarcastic and hilarious, with the sweetest, kindest heart.
We had a family dinner to celebrate and everyone came over, and instead of a big party, she asked for a trip, so weโre headed off for that next week!
A giant cheese board for the festivities:
and my baby fever is out of control, but the Pilot says weโre done lol.
(Our little niece, Daisy!)
Some adventures from lately:
Indian food feast from Saffron
A Sabino Canyon hike
and trip to the desert museum with friends.
Itโs time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love hearing about your faves, too, so please shout out something youโre loving in the comments section below.

Fashion + beauty + random:
Another moment of silence for these jeans. They were super inexpensive, great quality and true to size.
So many of you have bought this perfect sweater dress! I looooove it.
This body lotion is the holy grail. Liv *borrowed* mine, so I ordered another one.
This sweater is cute for Valentineโs day. Iโm also scoping out this one.
Read, watch, listen:
Reading this book right now and am 100% sucked in.
Fitness, health, life, and good eats:
I wore a CGM for the past couple of weeks and itโs been good to check in with my blood sugar. Itโs been a little on the high side lately, so Iโve been trying to hack it and have a call with a Nutrisense nutritionist next week to see if they have any ideas. This can be an incredible and empowering tool! If youโre interested in wearing a CGM (or booking a nutritionist call – theyโre often covered by insurance) use this link and the code GINA50.
This lasagna soup looks amazing.
January detox starts this Monday but you can join the fun at any time. My code is FITNESSISTA10 if youโd like to join in.
*I’m working on a new program that will launch in February and can’t wait to share it with you!! To get first dibs, make sure you’re on my newsletter list.
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! Have an amazing weekend and Iโll see ya soon!
xoxo
