Barre3 giveaway

Rise and shine, it’s giveaway time!

As you guys know, I’ve fallen in love with Barre3 workouts over the past year. A studio is opening up in Tucson very soon -in the meantime, check out their free Saturday classes at lululemon in La Encantada!- and I was stoked to see that they have a studio here in La Jolla. I’ve been a couple of times already and love this challenging, balanced and fun workout, which contains elements from dance, traditional strength, yoga and Pilates. It also makes my thighs quiver and beg for sweet mercy; I’m always pleasantly sore after a class.

One of the things I’ve noticed and love about Barre3 is that they support an entire healthy lifestyle: one that doesn’t end when you leave the studio doors. They provide online workouts, recipes, nutrition tips, and also childcare (aka the Play Lounge) for mamas who want to get in a workout. Working out each day and taking a little time for myself helps me to be more present and more productive in everything I do — I’m sure many of you feel the same way! I love the fact that Barre3 helps to make this feasible for women with young kiddos, busy professionals (who can bust out a workout while traveling, thanks to the online workouts), anyone looking for an effective and fun workout, or someone who may just be getting started in fitness. During class, they provide lots of modifications so if you want to go Turbo, you can, or if you’re a beginner, you can easily modify.

Barre3 is running a spring challenge this May, and they kindly offered some awesome giveaway packs for three lucky readers.

-To participate in the Spring challenge, take up to four 60-minute Barre3 classes each week from May 5 – June 1st and two 10-minute online workouts. You can substitute any of the online workouts if you can’t make it to a class (or if there isn’t a studio near you) and adjust the schedule according to your lifestyle. Participants can also follow the provided meal plan. If you’d like to try the online workouts, they offer a free two-week trial here.

-Three lucky readers will each receive the Spring challenge pack, which includes 30 days of unlimited online workouts, weekly emails with nutrition tips and recipes, access to the weekly online lectures with Sadie Lincoln (founder of Barre3) and functional nutritionist Andrea Nakayama, an orange core ball, and an amazing Barre3 Mason jar tumbler (in the first pic above).
