Barre3 giveaway
Rise and shine, it’s giveaway time!
As you guys know, I’ve fallen in love with Barre3 workouts over the past year. A studio is opening up in Tucson very soon -in the meantime, check out their free Saturday classes at lululemon in La Encantada!- and I was stoked to see that they have a studio here in La Jolla. I’ve been a couple of times already and love this challenging, balanced and fun workout, which contains elements from dance, traditional strength, yoga and Pilates. It also makes my thighs quiver and beg for sweet mercy; I’m always pleasantly sore after a class.
One of the things I’ve noticed and love about Barre3 is that they support an entire healthy lifestyle: one that doesn’t end when you leave the studio doors. They provide online workouts, recipes, nutrition tips, and also childcare (aka the Play Lounge) for mamas who want to get in a workout. Working out each day and taking a little time for myself helps me to be more present and more productive in everything I do — I’m sure many of you feel the same way! I love the fact that Barre3 helps to make this feasible for women with young kiddos, busy professionals (who can bust out a workout while traveling, thanks to the online workouts), anyone looking for an effective and fun workout, or someone who may just be getting started in fitness. During class, they provide lots of modifications so if you want to go Turbo, you can, or if you’re a beginner, you can easily modify.
Barre3 is running a spring challenge this May, and they kindly offered some awesome giveaway packs for three lucky readers.
-To participate in the Spring challenge, take up to four 60-minute Barre3 classes each week from May 5 – June 1st and two 10-minute online workouts. You can substitute any of the online workouts if you can’t make it to a class (or if there isn’t a studio near you) and adjust the schedule according to your lifestyle. Participants can also follow the provided meal plan. If you’d like to try the online workouts, they offer a free two-week trial here.
-Three lucky readers will each receive the Spring challenge pack, which includes 30 days of unlimited online workouts, weekly emails with nutrition tips and recipes, access to the weekly online lectures with Sadie Lincoln (founder of Barre3) and functional nutritionist Andrea Nakayama, an orange core ball, and an amazing Barre3 Mason jar tumbler (in the first pic above).
This giveaway will end this Saturday at midnight, and I’ll announce the winners in Sunday morning’s post.
xoxo
Gina
My spring goal is to train for a half marathon, and Barre would be a perfect addition!
I would love this! I’m traveling for business in two weeks and the online class would be perfect!
This is neat! My spring fitness goal was going great until I over-did-it on squats and lunges, hurt my knees. Hopefully I can start up again in the next day or two.
My spring goal is to continue to vary my workouts to keep things interesting and keep my body guessing (so winning this would be awesome!). Also, to increase definition in my shoulders and thighs!
My spring fitness goal is to spend more time exercising outside! As much as I love going to the gym, being outside is just so wonderful after a long, cold winter 🙂
To stick a forearm stand in yoga!
That’s so funny I was reading your other post from this morning about your fitness faves and it inspired me to look up Barre3 in NJ and here you are with the giveaway! I guess it’s a sign that I need to go check it out 🙂
I’ve always wanted to try Barre, but it’s a bit pricy for my student budget.
To get to the gym more often & get outside with my son to play on all sunny day!
Eating healthy is my goal for spring
I’ve always wanted to try barre! My goal is to tone up and gain more body strength!
My goal is to run a race, whether is a 5k, 10k, or half marathon. I’m trying to convince one of the siblings to run with me, crossing my fingers.
Barre is so challenging! You can feel it when you start to shake!
I danced growing up, but am still yet to try a barre class. I would love to try something like this!
My goal is to tone and firm up!
I’ve been dying to try Barre3! I did ballet for years but just haven’t had the chance to try out a barre class yet!
I am dying to try a barre class!
My main spring fitness goal is to simply stay active and keep up my strength training regimen. Things are crazy and hectic right now with our move, so just keeping up with my workouts is a goal in itself!
I am so ready to try a barre class!
I’ve been looking for a new boost to my routine and this would be perfect!
Would love to try a barre class!
Over the past year since my wedding, I’ve put on a couple of extra pounds. In the coming weeks of spring, I’d like to work to get back to where I was before!
Would love to win this contest! Looks like such a great workout!
Goals: be more present, focus on clean eats, and write down (in my journal) at least one thing I love about myself.
Yay Spring 🙂
Work out 3 times a week!
I want to get back to running again. Perhaps a fall half marathon could be a goal. And also I am in a few weddings this summer so I’d like to tone up my arms for all of the pics!
Thanks!
I’m almost 20weeks pregnant, so my goal until delivery is to do something active once a day and to make it to at least one yoga class a week.
My goal is to get more toned and lean!
SPRING FITNESS GOAL: Get back into running distance and train for a half. Also lose 1-2% body fat (by lifting weights and running). And I should probably retry my goal of Yoga once a week since i havent been doing a good job of that.
I also was not aware there was a Barre3 in La Jolla, its actually right near my work so it should be easy for me to check out!
This spring I’m going to listen to my body more and do what it tells me!
My goal is to feel good running outside once again. Right now I’m forever panting up the big hill near my house! Just a little more practice…
Love it!
I would love to try a barre class!
My spring fitness goal is to tone up my arms and abs!
I’m coming back from an injury and have a goal of running a half marathon thes fall!
Awesome giveaway! As a New Englander who still hasn’t seen temperatures over 67 this spring, I am so jealous of all your recent beach pictures! Enjoy your new adventure! 🙂
A Spring fitness goal of mine is to begin training soon for my SECOND half marathon this year. I ran my first one in February and was bite by the running bug….my second half won’t be until December this year, BUT, I didn’t train properly the first time around so this second time I want to give myself PLENTY of time to train properly and meet my goal time! YAY! 🙂
My #1 goal this spring is to set some PRs in shorter races, while training for longer ones. Time for SPEED WORK!
Perfect time for this fitness challenge, I’m about to start a busy two months at work and will really appreciate the opportunity to workout on my own schedule. Thanks for the give away!
I have been so interested in trying a Barre class. My gym has some variation but it is not really very challenging. Would love to try this!
I’ve been looking for an excuse to try out the online workouts since there really isn’t one close to where I live!
I am behind any business or company that supports a healthy lifestyle as a whole! Great to see brands getting on board!
My goal is to try something new in my fitness routine: like barre!
My spring fitness goal is to finish Jamie Eason’s 12-week LiveFit trainer (in week 7 now).
Spring fitness goal… Strength training 3x a week!
I took barre classes last summer and really loved them but the membership was too expensive to continue. Would love to start taking classes again!
I’m hoping to get outside after dinner and take a family walk – with the weather finally (fingers crossed) getting better in the Midwest we’re all itching to get outside.
I’ve taken barre classes, but never barre3. I’ve heard such great things. I would love to try it out.
I need to work on my core!
