Favorite Things Giveaway: Manduka
So excited for today’s favorite things giveaway, because it’s something I’ve been using for years, from a brand that I adore: Manduka!
I purchased my first Manduka yoga mat about 7 years ago. It was the most I’d ever spent on a mat, and my friends assured me that it would be worth it.
They don’t lie. 😉
Years and years later, my Manduka mat is still my favorite, and it feels even better than the day I bought it. It’s extremely supportive and durable, especially during sweaty classes and arm balances.
I’m also a huge fan of their yogitoes mat towels. They’re a staple for hot yoga, wash well, and stand the test of time. The newest ones have small plastic beads on the bottoms so the towel stays exactly where you place it.

I love headstands. My next goal is the pose where you balance on your forearms (not sure of the name)!
My fave is definitely downward facing dog. Such a delicious stretch!
This might sound silly, but childs pose is still the most relaxing for me.

Crow Pose is definitely my favorite!
I don’t know what my favorite yoga pose is called – it’s when you face your body to the side of the room rather than the front, wide leg stance and turn in your toes and lean over with a flat back – it feels SO good. I also desperately need a new yoga mat 🙂

As an ex-gymnast, I really enjoy arm balances, headstands, and handstands, just for old time’s sake. Also, I find that the more I work at a desk job, the more I enjoy the twisting poses to loosen everything up.
I’ve always wanted a Manduka mat! I read on their website that they don’t use certain chemicals and dangerous processes that other yoga mat companies use. I would love to have one!! : )
