Favorite things giveaway: Swopper
Hi friends! How’s the morning going? Hope you’re having a great day so far.
I am so, so excited for today’s giveaway. I use this every day, and am actually using it while writing this post: my Swopper chair!!
(There are furniture moving disk thingies —scientific term— attached on the bottom to protect the floors.)
Not only is this chair extremely sleek and comfy, but it has hidden benefits. The beauty of this chair is that it allows for natural spinal movement: up and down, forward and back, and from side to side. If you’ll notice, in most desk chairs, you’re stuck in a stationary position. This can decrease circulation (as you’re not moving any muscles while you sit) and from that, decrease oxygen to the brain which can make us sleepy and not perform to optimum levels. The beauty of the Swopper chair is that it allows gentle movement in all planes, increases circulation, increases energy, and promotes improved posture. This is a huge one for me because I have horrible posture. When I’m in this chair, I feel comfortable, but am less likely to slouch.
We’ve just started to transition this little hallway nook into my office area, and the Swopper chair is my favorite piece.

I would love this! Posture when sitting for long hours has always been an issue for me!

I could so use this chair at my desk that has two computer screens. Very hard to concentrate on sitting correctly in a standard office chair…..i could do 8 hours in that chair…..
I’m working on my posture to improve the current symptoms resulting from chronic neck/back pain – this would probably help me out 🙂

I would love this for my office because I’ve always tried to be health conscious and work on good posture. The better your posture, the easier it is in the gym to get a good workout in. Plus, I remember all of the years playing instruments and always having to sit straight up on the edge of my chair… my, my instructors would CRINGE if they saw me now.
One of my all-time favorite things in my office is my 3-in-1 printer/copier/scanner. I try to be as organized as I possible can, and I have started scanning in all of my bills, receipts, and important documents that get stored on a special flash drive. Less paper = less clutter (and for you, Miss Gina… less things to pack!). =)
One thing that is making me smile today is the fact that my hubby is going to be returning from a long business trip. The pup has been so mopey without him around… it breaks my heart. Oh, and I miss him like crazy as well.

I would love this chair! I alternate between my office chair and my stability ball and I think it would look nicer to have this chair than the ball when my clients come in.

I have a Tibetan meditation bell I received several years ago as a gift from my husband. I absolutely love it. It sits on my office on my desk, and reminds me every day to be mindful – which I need.

ooooooh my office needs this! And something that is making me smile is my new personalized mug – my company surprised us with them today.
I have set up a little holiday themed drink station on the credenza in my office for my co-workers to enjoy (includes Salted Caramel Chai latte mix, TJ’s Candy Cane Green Tea, and Barnie’s White Christmas coffee K-cups). It makes me happy to have fun goodies to share plus it’s a nice change from the stuff in the general break room!
