Rodan + Fields giveaway

My normal skincare routine would probably make some people shudder.
It involves using a little cleanser (usually Yes To brand or Juice Beauty) on the Clairsonic at night, nighttime moisturizer, and tinted SPF moisturizer for day. Once or twice a week, I feel fancy and use a LUSH face mask. That’s it. Full-on skincare/makeup routines freak me out a little bit (toner, exfoliator, makeup remover, primer, whaaaaat?!) and I always feel intimidated when I check out new products. If it ain’t broke, right?
Well, my friend Jeni has always had absolutely gorgeous skin. In the 5 years I’ve known her, it’s continued to become even more vibrant and beautiful. When she last came to visit, it was absolutely glowing, so I asked what products she’d been using. (Unlike me, Jeni knows about makeup and skincare and stuff haha.) She had started using the Rodan + Fields products (founded by the same doctors who created the ProActiv solution) and loved them so much that she became a consultant for them. Since I was curious to try it out, she offered to send me some samples when she got home. (And because she’s one of my closest friends and know it’s important to me, she also triple-checked to make sure that the products weren’t tested on animals. Rodan +Fields is cruelty-free and supported by PETA.)
When I first opened the package, I was really excited to try out the facial, lip serum and exfoliator she sent. The verdict? I absolutely loved everything. My skin looked noticeably different in a couple of weeks. Since I found the products to be extremely effective (yet gentle enough for my sensitive skin) I asked Jeni if she might be able to do a giveaway.

I would have to say my favorite product are the Norwex makeup cloths. they are all natural, don’t require any soap. they are great!
Hands down, dry shampoo. An absolute essential for any mama of 2 small children!!
I love Cerave, both the facial cleanser and moisturizer. It is great for my sensitive skin and it is affordable!

I’d have to say face wash. Nothing feels better than a clean face. I particularly like the ones that smelly fab and make my face feel all tingly!
Always a moisturizer with SPF… some days that is all I can muster when life gets busy!
Oh, and conditioner. Being an athlete who is growing my hair out. I have yet to find a hairstyle they allows me to workout and sweat insanely (or swim for my tris) and not turn into a nappy knotted mess! Conditioner is a lifesaver
Tinted mosturizer/BB cream with SPF. I have fair skin and I love the bit of colour the tint gives me with the protection against the sun!
Trader Joes coconut body butter! It makes my skin so soft!!
My favorite beauty product would be AG Fast Food. It keeps my hair soft even after lots of colour treatments.
My favorite product is a toss up between Philosophy’s help me, Eucerin daily SPF moisturizer, and those blackhead strips!
Coconut Oil! I love to rub it on my arms and lips. I haven’t used it on my face yet!!

Coconut oil, mashed up strawberries, honey, and rolled oats mask…..whats even better if you are hungry while putting on your mask its a little tasty treat AND totally cheap!

Thanks for doing this giveaway! My favorite skin care product is homemade coconut oil/beeswax lip balm. My skin care routine is even worse than yours haha…I pretty much just use water in the shower! I use St. Ives apricot face wash about twice a week, and dont wear face makeup (just sunscreen). I have no idea where to start with skin care and would love to try this line of products!

Right now I am loving my Smashbox BB cream. Its the first one I’ve tried, and it keeps my skin from breaking out while giving me really great covereage. Plus its great for hot summer days where I want my skintone evened out but don’t want my makeup “melting” off my face.

I am obsessed with Benefit’s Stay Don’t Stray eye primer/concealer. I am very makeup challenged, but this is the key to keeping any eye makeup I do apply on all day long, without creases, smudges or buildup.

Mine would have to be Moroccan oil, too. I can switch up shampoos but I can’t live without that stuff.
I live in South Africa and have limited access to the products I love and trust (my suitcase is overflowing with American snacks and beauty products whenever I come back from a visit home), but people here really swear by Vaseline… And as it’s winter here right now, I’ve been increasingly won over to the cheap simplicity of it. I use it every day on my hands and feet… It’s not fancy and smells not fantastic, but hey, it works!

My go to product is a little bit of bronzer. It really helps to get through the pale winter months!
