Rodan + Fields giveaway

My normal skincare routine would probably make some people shudder.
It involves using a little cleanser (usually Yes To brand or Juice Beauty) on the Clairsonic at night, nighttime moisturizer, and tinted SPF moisturizer for day. Once or twice a week, I feel fancy and use a LUSH face mask. That’s it. Full-on skincare/makeup routines freak me out a little bit (toner, exfoliator, makeup remover, primer, whaaaaat?!) and I always feel intimidated when I check out new products. If it ain’t broke, right?
Well, my friend Jeni has always had absolutely gorgeous skin. In the 5 years I’ve known her, it’s continued to become even more vibrant and beautiful. When she last came to visit, it was absolutely glowing, so I asked what products she’d been using. (Unlike me, Jeni knows about makeup and skincare and stuff haha.) She had started using the Rodan + Fields products (founded by the same doctors who created the ProActiv solution) and loved them so much that she became a consultant for them. Since I was curious to try it out, she offered to send me some samples when she got home. (And because she’s one of my closest friends and know it’s important to me, she also triple-checked to make sure that the products weren’t tested on animals. Rodan +Fields is cruelty-free and supported by PETA.)
When I first opened the package, I was really excited to try out the facial, lip serum and exfoliator she sent. The verdict? I absolutely loved everything. My skin looked noticeably different in a couple of weeks. Since I found the products to be extremely effective (yet gentle enough for my sensitive skin) I asked Jeni if she might be able to do a giveaway.

I’m addicted to using Aquaphor on my lips. It keeps moisture in my lips in this (miserable) Texas heat and makes my lips softer since I’ve been using it before bed. Would love to try something new for my face, as I haven’t found something that I love.

My favorite beauty product is Aquaphor ointment. I put it on my lips every night before bed and it’s the only product that keeps them from chapping.
I love garnier skin renew moisturizer before bed
My fave is anything Burt’s Bees!! Their lip glosses are amazing!
That’s hard to say…I love how my Macadamia oil smells, but I HAVE to have some kind of lotion!
My favorite is origins spot remover, it works wonders!
I used to use a Clean and Clear moisturizer, but then I stopped and since then I haven’t used ANY skin
products! LOL But I find that my oily skin like it that way! =D
For me, it has to be Olay Regenerist microsculpting cream. I cannot seem to find anything else that keeps my skin from looking greige.
i love vaseline lotion. My skin gets dry and it helps moisten it!
My favorite product is Josi Maran’s argan oil!
Moroccan oil is my favorite too! that stuff works miracles on my hair!
My favorite product has to be Philosophy’s When Hope Is Not Enough bc living in Boston during the winter my skin gets so dry. It has worked wonders!! I would LOVE to try all the products listed in this giveaway!!!

My favorite “fun” beauty product would have to be a tie between homemade body scrubs (used coffee grounds + brown sugar + coconut oil….makes me smooth as a salamander! haha) and the Covergirl smoochies tinted lip balms (such a low-key way for shy gals like me to try using color on lips).

I have a pumpkin clay face mask from Glen Ivy and let me tell you the wonders this stuff does for my face! It’s so tingly and cool. Plus, it smells like pumpkin pie!

I am clueless when it comes to beauty products. My staple would definitely be vasoline. I put it on my lips, hands, and feet at night. It’s so great for dry skin. I’d love to try some new products!

I’m a big fan of Cetaphil face wash and moisturizer.
I like Aveda’s texturing cream. Smells good.
Eucalyptus spearmint lotion/body cream/exfoliator/shower gel from Bath and Body Works is one of my favorite scents, ever!
I swear by apple cider vinegar to keep my skin clear!
L’oreal voluminous carbon black mascara! Sometimes that is the only makeup I wear.
ELF mineral makeup! It works great on my skin.
Definitely BB cream…it’s all i need!

Love, love the Clarisonic – my favorite beauty tool. My skin has been so much better since I’ve started using it.
If I had to pick just one thing as a favorite, it would be coconut oil. I use it as a moisturizer and anti-perspirant.
However, I never leave the house without applying some Blinc mascara and Benefit’s Dr. Feelgood mattifying balm.
I don’t have a good skincare routine right now, so this kit would be awesome!

The one beauty item that has become my essential is my Anastasia eyebrow pencil. As a former over-tweezer this has become my favorite product. Having filled in brows make all the difference and really transforms my face.
