Rodan + Fields giveaway
Hi friends! We’re enjoying one last day in Cali, but in the meantime, I have some fun posts planned! Today is a giveaway and Fashion post, and tomorrow: a new dance cardio video. Hope you’re having a wonderful start to your week! xo

My normal skincare routine would probably make some people shudder.
It involves using a little cleanser (usually Yes To brand or Juice Beauty) on the Clairsonic at night, nighttime moisturizer, and tinted SPF moisturizer for day. Once or twice a week, I feel fancy and use a LUSH face mask. That’s it. Full-on skincare/makeup routines freak me out a little bit (toner, exfoliator, makeup remover, primer, whaaaaat?!) and I always feel intimidated when I check out new products. If it ain’t broke, right?
Well, my friend Jeni has always had absolutely gorgeous skin. In the 5 years I’ve known her, it’s continued to become even more vibrant and beautiful. When she last came to visit, it was absolutely glowing, so I asked what products she’d been using. (Unlike me, Jeni knows about makeup and skincare and stuff haha.) She had started using the Rodan + Fields products (founded by the same doctors who created the ProActiv solution) and loved them so much that she became a consultant for them. Since I was curious to try it out, she offered to send me some samples when she got home. (And because she’s one of my closest friends and know it’s important to me, she also triple-checked to make sure that the products weren’t tested on animals. Rodan +Fields is cruelty-free and supported by PETA.)
When I first opened the package, I was really excited to try out the facial, lip serum and exfoliator she sent. The verdict? I absolutely loved everything. My skin looked noticeably different in a couple of weeks. Since I found the products to be extremely effective (yet gentle enough for my sensitive skin) I asked Jeni if she might be able to do a giveaway.
Here’s what one lucky winner will receive:
You can check out more of the products on her site here and there is a solution tool to help decide what products would be best for your skin.
How to enter:
Just leave a comment with with your favorite skincare or beauty product. If I had to narrow it down to one, mine would be Moroccan oil. It makes my hair smell great and keeps the frizzies away.
I’ll pick the winner via random number generator and announce in this week’s Friday Faves post.
Hope you have a wonderful day! <3
xoxo

(Not sponsored– just wanted to support one of my best friends and spread the word about this awesome line)
I couldn’t live without virgin coconut oil. I use it to moisterise my face, body (it’s great for dry skin) , condition my hair and make up remover. It works great, and smells gorgeous is just so cheap for a huge pot! A few people have also said they use it in soomthies too.
I’d be excited to try these products ๐ Hope you and the fam are having an amazing time away!
I love using the cetaphil moisturizing cream at night. It feels goopy and thick, but the results and hydration are amazing!
I would have to say my favorite product is my Kenra hairspray! It holds my hair in place all day long!
I love Origins products, particularly the Ginzing eye cream. It has some caffeine in it and does wonders for replumping (but not puffing) and minimizing dark circles. I also really love Bath and Body Works Need a Margarita scrub for my arms… it does a great job scrubbing away old skin cells and it smells amazing!
My favourite skincare product has to be Liz Earle clean & polish cleanser. The muslin cloth makes your face feel extra clean too, and you can visibly see the make up and dirt from the day. I really want a clarisonic too, I keep hearing rave reviews!
Hope you are having a fantastic holiday,
Laura
I adore the Rodan and Fields line! I’m using Unblemish now (fun to have break outs in my 30s, blah) and will be buying the Redefine line next. It’s silly but I totally look forward to my regimen every day!
My favorite beauty product is my neutrogena soap! I also can’t live without lip balm.
Clinique’s Even Better skin corrector moisturizer with SPF in it… I wear it under makeup every day!
I love baremineral products – all natural and so simple and fast to apply.
It’s pretty broad, but sunscreen all the way! My face and body lotions must contain an SPF and I use them daily.
I love something so basic… Cetaphil cleanser. Gentle and effective. Also love Simple line eye serum.
My fav skincare product is Aveeno’s Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser. I use it to take off my make up and just to wash my face at night. It is so gentle and great for my sensitive skin.
I LOVE Jan Marini’s bioglycolic bioclear lotion…it’s magic in a jar!!
Awesome giveaway! I currently use Aveeno/Olay products, but I’ve been wanting to change it up for some time now.
I love organic coconut oil! I use it as a moisturizer for my face and body!
I wash my face with raw, pure honey. I know it’s a little strange, but it’s completely chemical free and natural (which I love) and it makes my skin extremely soft! Since it acts as both a cleanser and a moisturizer, I only need one product for skin care every morning!
Burt’s Bees lip balm!!
But I am a beauty product -aholic. I try it all. If it’s new, I gotta have it! Moroccan Oil is definitely up there on my list!! LOVE IT!
I love coconut oil! I use it as a night time moisturizer, daily body lotion, eye make-up remover and as a conditioning hair mask once a week.
Mine would be Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm…always have it with me for just a hint of color and shine.
Would love to try these products…I’m also a Yes to girl and have sensitive skin but have been feeling like something is missing in my skin care routine as I’m getting more breakouts. Thanks for the giveaway!
SO awesome! I love love love my Clarisonic! Favorite beauty product for sure.
I love my rodan + fields products. A friend sells it as well and I’m hooked on the redefine regimen. The eye cream makes me look human after sleepless nights!
I love Clarin’s eye cream! Doesn’t sting or bother my eyes since my skin is very sensitive.
My favorite product is Bag Balm. I use it on my dry heels at night.
I’ve recently joined the Moroccan oil bandwagon, and I am in loooooove! Awesome giveaway!
The Yes to Blueberries brightening wipes…I love them at night & after a workout. They leave my skin feeling refreshed and they’re an easy way to clean my skin when I”m feeling like a slacker.
Hmmm, honestly, my favorite “beauty” product is sunscreen! Melanoma runs in my family, so it’s important to me to wear sunscreen every day, rain or shine, winter or summer!
I would have to say that I love my Therapy Systems Glycolic Face Wash. Gentle enough to use every day but strong enough to scrub away dead cells. Plus, it’s a hometown (to me) company!
I love BareMinerals volume mascara. I don’t usually do the “brand name” stuff- I actually use trader joes products for most of my skin care! But this mascara is amazing- it can change a whole look!
My favorite definitely has to be my coconut oil hair serum! Keeps my locks feeling moisturized and makes them smell delicious!
In the middle of 21 hours of flying, I was absolutely desperate for a moisturizer and bought Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief at the duty free in Doha. It felt sooooo amazing on my plane-weary face, and I have loved it ever since. Doesn’t feel greasy or heavy at all!
Awesome giveaway! I, too, am on the Moroccan oil train. Since I started using it, I have seen a very noticeable difference in my hair. Now, when I travel, I have to bring a travel sized product with me because I can’t stand my hair without it!
I love the Clinique ‘Even Better’ Skin Tone Correcting Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 20! It’s not as oily or thick as a lot of lotions with SPF and doesn’t have too strong of a sunscreeny smell.
I have to agree with coconut oil – extremely versatile and beneficial.
I love Burt’s Bees lip balm. Also L’Bri lotion is wonderful for my dry skin!
Awesome! My fav is md formulations. Keeps me moist and looking great!
Is it bad that my favorite product is actually a Norwex cleaning cloth?? I am SO basic!
I think it’s honestly Chapstick. It’s the only thing I’ve consistently used over the years!
Right now it’s Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks to keep my growing pregnant belly elastic and non-itchy! It also isn’t sticky. Other than that it would be paw paw ointment which I usually have to get from overseas but has so many uses!!
I’ve used Purpose soap since I was a teenager and the dermatologist recommended it. It is gentle and gets all the gunk out. It’s getting harder to find so I always stock up when I do find it.
My wonderful friend gave me a gift of Bobbi Brown “Beach” body lotion. It smells incredible, reminds me exactly of being at the beach! It’s a great way to start and end my day.
Origins Vitazing SPF 15. It makes my face feel so smooth and has a slight tint to it that evens out my skintone. I don’t have to use foundation anymore! I also love Nars blush in Orgasm, it makes my face look…orgasmic lol.
I couldn’t live without my Nioxin shampoo/conditioner/mousse. I’m still hunting for the right skincare line tho!
I’m pretty partial to Neutrogena and Clinque these days.
I used to use all the Clinique products, but have changed to Cetaphil cleanser and Clinique moisturizing gel! I have to skip the toner!
Dr. Jart BB Creme. I love how much SPF it has in it!
My favorite skin cleaner is hands down cetapyhl. It is gentle, and reasonably priced for a nice sized bottle. I used proactiv as a teenager. I would love to try their new line.
Carlson Labs Norwegian Cod Liver Oil the lemon flavor! My mom has been using it her whole life and is flawless!! I have been using since I was 16 and can tell a huge difference in my skin and hair if I skip it.
I’m currently loving a nighttime eye cream from Oil of Olay. It’s the perfect amount of moisture without leaving my skin greasy. I am on the market for a new face wash, so I’d love to try out this product!
I love anything by MAC! They have amazing colour palettes and so many different products.
I have used Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer for years, and it’s definitely my favorite!
