Rodan + Fields giveaway
Hi friends! We’re enjoying one last day in Cali, but in the meantime, I have some fun posts planned! Today is a giveaway and Fashion post, and tomorrow: a new dance cardio video. Hope you’re having a wonderful start to your week! xo

My normal skincare routine would probably make some people shudder.
It involves using a little cleanser (usually Yes To brand or Juice Beauty) on the Clairsonic at night, nighttime moisturizer, and tinted SPF moisturizer for day. Once or twice a week, I feel fancy and use a LUSH face mask. That’s it. Full-on skincare/makeup routines freak me out a little bit (toner, exfoliator, makeup remover, primer, whaaaaat?!) and I always feel intimidated when I check out new products. If it ain’t broke, right?
Well, my friend Jeni has always had absolutely gorgeous skin. In the 5 years I’ve known her, it’s continued to become even more vibrant and beautiful. When she last came to visit, it was absolutely glowing, so I asked what products she’d been using. (Unlike me, Jeni knows about makeup and skincare and stuff haha.) She had started using the Rodan + Fields products (founded by the same doctors who created the ProActiv solution) and loved them so much that she became a consultant for them. Since I was curious to try it out, she offered to send me some samples when she got home. (And because she’s one of my closest friends and know it’s important to me, she also triple-checked to make sure that the products weren’t tested on animals. Rodan +Fields is cruelty-free and supported by PETA.)
When I first opened the package, I was really excited to try out the facial, lip serum and exfoliator she sent. The verdict? I absolutely loved everything. My skin looked noticeably different in a couple of weeks. Since I found the products to be extremely effective (yet gentle enough for my sensitive skin) I asked Jeni if she might be able to do a giveaway.
Here’s what one lucky winner will receive:
You can check out more of the products on her site here and there is a solution tool to help decide what products would be best for your skin.
How to enter:
Just leave a comment with with your favorite skincare or beauty product. If I had to narrow it down to one, mine would be Moroccan oil. It makes my hair smell great and keeps the frizzies away.
I’ll pick the winner via random number generator and announce in this week’s Friday Faves post.
Hope you have a wonderful day! <3
xoxo

(Not sponsored– just wanted to support one of my best friends and spread the word about this awesome line)
I love philosophy products!
I’m a simple girl too, Cetaphil is my go-to cleanser!
Love Sugar – Rose lip treatment
I’m a big fan of Trader Joe’s Vitamin E Oil – I put it on my lips, under my eyes, and anywhere where I have dry skin.
My favorite product is Too Faced Lash Injection mascara. I can’t live without mascara!!
My favorite beauty product is bare minerals because I hate the feel of heavy foundation
My beauty routine is super simple too, but two things I love are Acure’s Shampoos/Conditioners (Argan Moisturizing for my dry hair) and Alima’s mineral powder, which is about as much makeup as I can handle in this heat.
Purity face wash by Philosophy – so gentle and yet it pulls make-up like no other. I love not scrubbing mascara off my eyes with a cotton ball anymore.
My favorite product has to be Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Moisturizer!
My must have cleanser is cetaphyl, so gentle for my very sensitive skin!
Love my cetaphil facial wash and moisturizer!
My face lotion with SPF 30 in it! I’m a freckle faced redhead so I gotta keep on the SPF! I like to use Retinol or Oil of Olay.
Oops, I mean Roc with retinol:)
I use a combination of two moisturizers for my combination skin. I put Cetaphil moisturizer on my cheeks, which tend to dry out, and the Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel all over my face. It’s been the perfect amount of moisturization even in the summer time.
“That Gal!” by Benefit. Brightens up my skin without weighing it down.
Definitely couldn’t live without my Clarisonic. I’m in the market for new face wash though!
I love my clarisonic and have been wanting to try Rodan + Fields!
I love Bert’s Bee’s radiance face wash!
Does coconut oil count as a “beauty product” if that’s how I use it? I knoww it’s great for cooking, but it never makes it to my kitchen because I use it everywhere as a lotion, as a shave gel, on my lips in the winter… and it’s FABULOUS if you have fragrance allergies/are sensitive to some of the nonsense in typical products.
benefit “they’re real” mascara – try it and you’ll be hooked. only downside is it’s a little tough to get off, but the fact that it makes you look like you have fake lashes on without all the fuss is AWESOME!
I love using Neem or Sandalwood face masks… all natural and good effects. Although I’ve heard Rodan and fields works too, and would love to give it a try!
I like burts bees lip balm, clarins for my face and recently I’ve been using Natural Hero hot ginger muscle soak and muscle rub on my body after exercise.
I love Dermalogica’s Skin Resurfacing Cleanser every other day. It leaves your face super soft and even.
Can’t lose with Chapstick! It’s my go-to product.
Homemade apple cider vinegar and green tea toner!
For skincare, I love CeraVe’s products, and for beauty, I love Bare Minerals foundation – it’s been my go-to for years.
Also love my Clarisonic, so glad I bought it years ago.
First of all, I think it’s so nice you are supporting your friend this way!
Second, my favorite skincare product is pretty much anything by Dermalogica. I love their products but they are kind of pricey. Although I find that they work great. I also use Cetaphil every day in the morning because it’s gentle.
I love plain old blistex! It moisturizes my lips perfectly and is a great base for a little bit of color 🙂
I’m very basic as well. I’ve been using Olay face lotion SPF 15 for years!
I’ve used Garnier Skin Naturals Fresh Essentials 24hr hydration daycream for years. It’s the only product I’m truly loyal to as it makes my face feel so fresh!
Cetaphil! I feel that less is more works for skin care as well.
Mine is Neutrogena Ageless Essentials Night cream – love the stuff!
Hmmm my favorite beauty product. As far as makeup, definitely a tie between bronzer and mascara. As far as skincare, I would say my current REN clear calm clay cleanser (what a mouthful). Super cleansing w/o stripping my skin of natural oils!
I love coconut oil for hair a d skin care!
cetaphil face cleanser works great with my skin!
I am in love with moraccan oil products too! The shampoo, conditioner and curl
Cream are amazing! My
Hubby always loves when I use them because he says they smell great!
I love Origins Megabright Serum. I’ve definitely noticed a difference since I started using it.
I can’t go anywhere without my burt’s bees. I’ve never really had a beauty routine, wash my face every night/morning, moisturize, etc so it might be nice to actually try something for once!
dry shampoo for the lazy days 🙂
Wow, what a great giveaway! I’ve always wanted to try this product line. My fave product is Fekkai glossing cream. It makes my hair super shiny and soft when I straighten it and gives it a nice texture if I just let it air dry. I like the light fragrance, too!
I’m also very low-maintenance when it comes to skin care, but I could definitely use to step it up! Honestly, dial soap (gold) is my “face wash” of choice. It’s simple, cheap, and keeps away any breakouts.
I have curly hair and Bumble&Bumble curl creme has been a lifesaver!
I love Neutrogena’s oil free moisturizer with sunscreen. It does the trick for my skin!
I love my Clarisonic!
That’s sweet of you to support your friend in this way! 🙂 I used ProActiv in college and was super happy with the results.
If I was stranded on an island, I would only need my Burt’s Bees Grapefruit chapstick. Second to that, would be Yes To Grapefruit facial scrub.
neutrogena lip balm – i’ve used it for years and am rarely with one on my person or in my purse
I could not live without my burt’s bees beeswax lip balm. Love that stuff!
I’ve always loved good ol’ Ponds for my face and eye makeup remover. The past few months, I’ve been using coconut oil as my nightly moisturizer and I’ve been loving that 🙂
I try to keep it pretty simple also because I have a breakout prone face! I’ve been experimenting with using natural oils and I also like the new neutrogena simple products.
Love argan oil – I use the oil as a face moisturizer and use the Josie Maran foundation daily (I don’t even bother with a makeup sponge – I just spread it on with my fingers like a tinted moisturizer. It spreads so evenly and matches my skin perfectly!)
Argan oil. Love it.
