Rodan + Fields giveaway
Hi friends! We’re enjoying one last day in Cali, but in the meantime, I have some fun posts planned! Today is a giveaway and Fashion post, and tomorrow: a new dance cardio video. Hope you’re having a wonderful start to your week! xo

My normal skincare routine would probably make some people shudder.
It involves using a little cleanser (usually Yes To brand or Juice Beauty) on the Clairsonic at night, nighttime moisturizer, and tinted SPF moisturizer for day. Once or twice a week, I feel fancy and use a LUSH face mask. That’s it. Full-on skincare/makeup routines freak me out a little bit (toner, exfoliator, makeup remover, primer, whaaaaat?!) and I always feel intimidated when I check out new products. If it ain’t broke, right?
Well, my friend Jeni has always had absolutely gorgeous skin. In the 5 years I’ve known her, it’s continued to become even more vibrant and beautiful. When she last came to visit, it was absolutely glowing, so I asked what products she’d been using. (Unlike me, Jeni knows about makeup and skincare and stuff haha.) She had started using the Rodan + Fields products (founded by the same doctors who created the ProActiv solution) and loved them so much that she became a consultant for them. Since I was curious to try it out, she offered to send me some samples when she got home. (And because she’s one of my closest friends and know it’s important to me, she also triple-checked to make sure that the products weren’t tested on animals. Rodan +Fields is cruelty-free and supported by PETA.)
When I first opened the package, I was really excited to try out the facial, lip serum and exfoliator she sent. The verdict? I absolutely loved everything. My skin looked noticeably different in a couple of weeks. Since I found the products to be extremely effective (yet gentle enough for my sensitive skin) I asked Jeni if she might be able to do a giveaway.
Here’s what one lucky winner will receive:
You can check out more of the products on her site here and there is a solution tool to help decide what products would be best for your skin.
How to enter:
Just leave a comment with with your favorite skincare or beauty product. If I had to narrow it down to one, mine would be Moroccan oil. It makes my hair smell great and keeps the frizzies away.
I’ll pick the winner via random number generator and announce in this week’s Friday Faves post.
Hope you have a wonderful day! <3
xoxo

(Not sponsored– just wanted to support one of my best friends and spread the word about this awesome line)
There’s a face wash, I don’t know who the company is, but it’s called ‘no zit sherlock’. It really made all my breakouts go away, and the name makes me laugh 🙂
I love my Clairsonic!
I recently discovered Living Proof hair products and their full shampoo and conditioner is amazing! It almost makes my quick blow drys look as good as if I went to a salon. 🙂
I love the Moroccan oil too! I also use this Suave frizz tamer stuff (cant remember the actual name) which helps my hair because I tend to have frizzy hair in the humidity.
My clairsonic is a lifesaver! Best investment in my face ever!
Clarisonic Mia 2. It’s been a lifesaver and I swear it’s exfoliating away some of those old acne marks that I thought were permanent
I love retin-a. It helps decrease my breakouts and prevents wrinkles, plus its gentle (I use the oil-free gel through a prescription).
Coconut oil is my favorite now. I massage it all over, and it keeps the skin so soft.
I firmly believe that is helps me look younger. So many times people think I am 20 years younger than I am. And they refer to me as ‘Mom’ when I am out with my granddaughter. Oh, to be in my 40’s again. Believe me it works!
Hmmmm just need a good moisturizer all the time. Lots of dry skin.
My fave product I can’t leave the house without it on, is concealer!! All mamas out there know what I mean right?? 😉
Coconut oil all the way!! Love this blog!
Tatcha Cleansing oil, Mad Hippie facial oil, and Trish McEvoy eye base (my most purchased product). Love, love, and love.
My favorite skin care product is the Mary Kay Time Wise series.
cetaphil cleanser! Great simple cleanser i use every day 😀
Bare minerals pressed powder and burts bees lip balm
I love moisturizers and lotions, especially lavender scented ones. I really like the EOS lip balms too.
Caudalie Divine Oil is everything it promises to be (i.e. divine!). I’ve always had acne prone, sensitive skin so I was nervous about putting oil on my face but holy awesomeness. My skin is soft and hydrated. So I might be a bit of a convert.
I love my Mary Kay 3-1 in Timewise cleanser.
Favorite product is easily jojoba oil – great for my hair and skin, especially living in a dry climate. Plus, cheap and cheerful at Trader Joe’s. Thanks for the giveaway!
my favorite is vitamin e oil. I rub a little bit on my face every night and I’ve noticed a huge difference!
I love Cetaphil Dermacontrol Oil Control Facial Wash and Moisturizer with SPF. It is perfect for my oily skin!
Definitely my clarisonic! I use it twice a day.
What a kind friend!
My favourite beauty product is…aloe vera! It saves me during the summer – I use it as a night cream – and hydrates my dry skin in the winter. Loves it 🙂
I love Aveda skin products especially the Tourmaline Charged line.
At least you’re rocking the Clairsonic! I subsist on Dove for face and body and good ‘ole Oil of Olay moisturizer.
I love using Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-one Hemp Peppermint pure -caste liquid soap. There are many adverised uses for this versatile soap but my favorite is just as a body wash. It leaves a tingly fresh feeling on the skin perfect after a hot day in the sun or a crazy workout at the gym 🙂
I’ve been making a honey and tea tree oil face wash and scrub which I LOVE.
I really like the Ives’ exfoliating scrub – I use it each night before putting on moisturizer.
It would be amazing to win this, I just talked today on my blog about how clear skin is such a struggle for me!
My favorite beauty product would have to be the Ouidad Curl Quencher series for curly hair! Best shampoo and condition for my crazy curls.
I LOVE my Clarisonic. It makes my skin feel so much cleaner than if I just wash with normal face wash 🙂
Sweet almond oil!
I used to use all sorts of fancy lip care products but have returned to the wonderful old Chapstick! I made a total impulse buy on their new Cake Batter flavor and it reminds me of grade school (Lip Smackers Vanilla Frosting anyone?)
cetaphil daily cleanser is what has been working for me lately. i want to try out the clarisonic one of these days- it seems to work well for a lot of people
I am loving Stila’s BB Cream this summer!
I love Burt’s Bees lipbalm.
aquaphor! i have little tubes in my desk, purse, gym bag… everywhere! i use it on my lips and not only does it work better than chap stick, i love the way it looks!
Coconut oil and Burt’s bees Chapstick. Seriously if I could only bring 5 things on a desert island these 2 would easily be included!!
I love using Maybelline’s Tinted BB Cream with spf…its perfect to put on my face in the morning if I dont’ want to wear full makeup. I’m also obsessed with Bare Minerals flawless definition mascara, I’ve tried tons of different ones over the years and that one is by far my favorite!
My favorite product is def lights, camera, lashes mascara by tarte. It does wonders for my lashes. I use it daily.
I love my clarisonic! I also like using the oil cleansing method a few times a week.
Lip Medex! My lips are always so chapped!
I love Moroccan oil too! Makes my hair super shiny!
LOVE my clarisonic!!!
I love Cetaphil because it’s so gentle on my sensitive skin!
I really love my Vapour Organic Beauty Aura Multi-Use Blush. 🙂
I love Cetaphil because it’s gentle and approved for use while pregnant!
I’m very low maintenance with my beauty ‘routine’ if you can even call it that. My favorite product is oil of olay soap. I’ve tried others and always return to it.
I like the Simple skincare line of wipes to keep in my gym bag!
I still use oil of olay with sunscreen. 20 years!
I use a cheap mud mask once every couple of months – I think it’s Queen Helene. I love how soft my face feels afterwards. I’m also really happy to learn that Rodan + Fields is cruelty-free. Makes me feel so much better about using their products.
