Rodan + Fields giveaway

My normal skincare routine would probably make some people shudder.
It involves using a little cleanser (usually Yes To brand or Juice Beauty) on the Clairsonic at night, nighttime moisturizer, and tinted SPF moisturizer for day. Once or twice a week, I feel fancy and use a LUSH face mask. That’s it. Full-on skincare/makeup routines freak me out a little bit (toner, exfoliator, makeup remover, primer, whaaaaat?!) and I always feel intimidated when I check out new products. If it ain’t broke, right?
Well, my friend Jeni has always had absolutely gorgeous skin. In the 5 years I’ve known her, it’s continued to become even more vibrant and beautiful. When she last came to visit, it was absolutely glowing, so I asked what products she’d been using. (Unlike me, Jeni knows about makeup and skincare and stuff haha.) She had started using the Rodan + Fields products (founded by the same doctors who created the ProActiv solution) and loved them so much that she became a consultant for them. Since I was curious to try it out, she offered to send me some samples when she got home. (And because she’s one of my closest friends and know it’s important to me, she also triple-checked to make sure that the products weren’t tested on animals. Rodan +Fields is cruelty-free and supported by PETA.)
When I first opened the package, I was really excited to try out the facial, lip serum and exfoliator she sent. The verdict? I absolutely loved everything. My skin looked noticeably different in a couple of weeks. Since I found the products to be extremely effective (yet gentle enough for my sensitive skin) I asked Jeni if she might be able to do a giveaway.

I love my Clarisonic and coconut oil…and drinking lots of water never hurts!
I love the Yes to lib balm, but I am very unhappy with my skin right now so I’d love to try something new!
My fav product is my Clarisonic- no doubt! It’s the best thing I’ve ever purchased…err was gifted? haha
My fave beauty product is my Tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen. It’s a mouthful, but it has everything to moisturize, prime, and protect my face. I have SUPER sensitive skin, and this doesn’t irritate it. 🙂
I use a lot of Origins products since they don’t clog my pores.
Vaseline. Love that stuff! Keeps my lips soft.
I love Neutrogena spray on sunscreen! Not greasy at all!
My favorite skin care/ make up would would be Bare Minerals products, specifically their loose and pressed powders. They do wonders for my oily skin, don’t make make feel like I am wearing heavy make up, and have since switching to their products, helped my skin clear up in general. A little goes a long way!
my favorite, can’t-live-with-out-it beauty product is cetaphil fash wash. It’s super gentle and really gets ride of all the makeup and stuff on your face. I also really love Extra Strength Alpha Beta Face Peel to help keep pores small.
I love the Laura Mercier secret camouflage concealer. My skin has always been a problem area for me and this concealer has worked wonders!
I am currently loving this Aveeno Tinted SPF 30 face moisturizer. It’s saving me from having to wear much makeup in this crazy heat!
A non-greasy sunscreen is my favorite beauty product. I wear sunscreen everyday after having several skin cancers removed. I would love to try Rodan & Fields new products!
My favorite skin-care product is cetaphil face wash. Regardless if it’s in the humid summer or ice cold winter, Cetaphil is gentle yet strong enough for my sensitive skin.

I live in the desert, so my favorite beauty products are GENTLE face washes and lots and lots of moisturizer!

If you think your skincare routine makes people shudder, then what would you think of mine?
I use facial cleanser and Nivea soft cream. That’s about it! I can’t stand make up and using other cleaning items for my face.
So I would have to say my most favourite skin care product is Nivea Soft 🙂 Can’t go one day without it! and makes my face soft and fresh!

My favorite skin product is the Vitamin C moisturizer from the Body Shop. I’m pretty muh too lazy to do anything else but I know I need to get myself a real routine!
I love coconut oil. I use it once every couple of weeks as a deep moisturizing hair mask, and use it several times a week as a face wash- especially in the winter. I mix up a 2-1 combo of melted coconut oil and baking soda and when it hardens, it’s a wonderfully cleansing wash. My skin glows!
I may need to check out these products regardless- my skin needs some help, and I was considering proactiv but my skin is very sensitive as well!
Tinted moisturizer with SPF is my best multi-tasking tool in summer- even if I’m not outside, I feel better with my skin having a little baseline barrier
I’ve been playing with my routine lately. I went from very simple to complex… and it actually made my skin a lot worse! I’ve started to dial back and am almost back to my original routine and my skin is thanking me.
My favorite product is an old favorite: St. Ives Apricot scrub. I just feel cleaner, brighter, and fresher when I’m using it. A newer find is the Neutrogena shine control powder. I was using expensive brands for a while and found that this works just as well in controlling my forehead shine for less than half the price.
my favorite product right now is urban decay’s eyelid primer in a shade. i’m a PE teacher, this stuff last all day with no smudges not matter what the day holds!
For the last couple of years I’ve been using the basic system from Philosophy. Just the purity cleanser and the mousturizer with a little of the dermabrasion scrub mixed in every once and a while. It works for now and haven’t needed to switch… My favorite beauty products are lip color products. Love them all! My recent favorite was the cocoa lip shimmer by Burts Bees but it got discontinued (boo hoo) so I’m out to find a new one! Hope you enjoyed your vacation, Gina!
My favorite beauty item is Shine Drops from Brocato. I have been using them since high school. They help with my fly aways, smell amazing, and adds shine of course. I also rub the left over into my skin which make it super soft! Oh and best part one bottle lasts FOREVER. 🙂
I’m a recent convert to Kiss My Face face wash. I love that it’s natural without crazy ingredients, and it feels great!
Tea tree oil! I dab a tiny bit on blemishes and they’re gone within a day!
I love any type of good smelling body lotion! I pretty much lather myself in the stuff 🙂

I love my Bare Minerals Bronzer. It just takes a little to give you some color. I also love chapstick with SPF.
My favourite skin care line would have to be toner. I love the way it tingles and cleans deep down to your pores!
I love Neutrogena spray-on sunscreen! I am trying to be better about wearing sunscreen all the time, and this makes it easier because it doesn’t feel greasy.
Carmex lip balm (cherry flavor). Total lifesaver in such drastic weather conditions!
My spray on sunscreen. After getting a bad burn on my back where I couldn’t reach this is a must have.
My #1 product is cherry chapstick. If I had nothing but that I’d still be a happy camper!

But, I like the Cetaphil face wash. In the winter or when my skin is dry I can use it

I also have a very simple skincare routine which basically just includes makeup remover, face wash, and moisturizer. My skin is sensitive so I’ve always been nervous to change things up; however, I always envy my friends who know what they’re doing and use other facial products. My go to moisturizer is Olay Complete All Day with SPF 15.

I recently started using St Ive’s face moisturizer (recommended by Dr Oz) and I STOPPED BREAKING OUT. I started to get horrible hormonal breakouts on my chin (I’m 27) and I kept treating everything with so many products that I was making it worse, I stopped all that and simplified my routine to 3 steps: I wash with a dove bar, tone with an oil of Olay toner, and moisturize with st Ives and I literally just stopped breaking out. It was incredible. Best part is this stuff is less than $5 for a huge tub!

My favorite skin care products of late have come from The Body Shop. I love their Vitamin E skincare line!
I can’t go without my black eyeliner! I have very thin eyelashes, my eyeliner makes me feel more girly with a little bit more attention to my eyes 😉
Monoi Oil–basically scented coconut oil, it’s great for hair and as a moisturizer.
My go-to product is Sheer Cover concealer! It’s the lightest, nicest concealer I’ve ever tried! I also like their mineral foundation – light but tames my rosy cheeks!
I wish I had a favorite skincare product, but I’m constantly searching and would love to try the Rodan + Fields line! My favorite beauty product is probably Just Bitten lip stain – so cute and so foolproof for bright lips without smudges and messes.
I love all the Alba Botanica products, but my favorite is the “natural acne dote: oil control lotion”! This lotion acts as a very light chemical exfoliant (2% salicylic acid), keeps my skin fresh, pores clear, and feeling VERY hydrated which is a must for people with a tendency towards dry skin, and I have normal-to-dry skin. I use it day & night on a freshly-cleansed face!
i like cetaphil moisturizer but i *need* some new products!
My favorite product is Dr. Jart’s BB Cream – it’s like magic in a tube. To die.

Just got a Clairasonic and I’m loving it! I still can’t narrow down a good moisturizer that’s light, moisturizing, and doesn’t make me break out!
