10 Days of Giveaways: Day 4 (Minted)
I love love love holiday cards. Each holiday season, I look forward to receiving Christmas cards from our family and friends all over the world. We won’t see some of our closest friends for a year or so, as military life simultaneously binds us and creates distance, so it’s fun to see how much everyone’s families have changed since we last saw them. On our entryway table, I’ll prop up the Christmas cards we receive, and always look forward to sending ours out, too.
This year, Minted kindly offered to do our family’s cards, which was great timing, as we’d booked photos with Jacquelynn Buck here in Tucson. If you’re in Tucson and looking for a photographer, I can’t recommend her enough. She does gorgeous work, got my sometimes poker-faced little lovebug to smile (at a camera!), and works quickly, which is importante when you have a little one. (She didn’t give me a discount or anything because I have a blog. She’s truly amazing and I just wanted to spread the word.)
We ordered some photos and a canvas from her, and used her photos for our Christmas card, courtesy of Minted.
They have so many beautiful options, I had a hard time deciding! In the end, we went with this “Merry and Bright” theme with rounded corners.
I can’t wait for them to arrive!
Minted also offered to participate in our 10 days of giveaways with an awesome prize: two winners will each receive a $100 credit to their site. They make gorgeous holiday cards in addition to unique gifts like personalized stationary, decor, art prints, calendars and journals. If you’re gift shopping at Minted, you can use the code “HOLLY” to get 15% off holiday card orders of $150+ (10% off orders $100+) through today.
Here’s how to enter:
The winners will be announced in Sunday morning’s post. You have until Saturday night at midnight to enter <3

Loved baking and decorating cookies with my grandma, I always loved those little silver balls that hurt your teeth and tasted like nothing…I still have no idea why!
Minted has the cutest designs! I can’t wait to see how yours turns out!
MINTED! I would love to win this!! My favorite xmas memories are making cookies with my 3 younger siblings and getting up at the crack of dawn to open presents (even now).
My favorite holiday moment is waking up Christmas morning before anyone else it up and just sitting by the tree surrounded by the calm quiet peace and love 🙂
My little one just squealed “bubble” pointing at all of the ornaments. New favorite memory!
I love fixing something non-traditional for Christmas Eve dinner!
Minted! Love these cards!
Given my name is Holly I think I should win 😉
These would be great for my little fur family!
My favorite holiday moment was always the last gift under the tree that was a clue to the last gift that was hidden somewhere else in the house. My sister and I would race to see who could find it first.
What fun!
My sister jokingly pretended to bite one of the big bulbs off some of the old Christmas lights my grandfather had on his tree. The light broke when she put her teeth on it. She was unharmed but the look on her face was priceless. Hehe!
A favorite holiday moment for me is driving around with hot cocoa looking at pretty Xmas lights. Love it.
Awesome–love Minted cards!
I love sitting in a quiet house on Christmas Eve, festive drink in hand, enjoying the peace in the glow of the twinkling lights from the Christmas trees.
I love decorating the Christmas tree!
Love them! My favourite memory is each year when we got a huge tree, we would tie it to the roof, only to have it fall over on the coffee table!
can’t say I remember anything recently but when I was little my grandpa dressed up as santa and my sister was so scared
When my cousins and I were little, my younger cousin Mallory, who was about 5 at the time, thought she had been a bad girl that year and wouldn’t get any gifts from Santa. She decided to wrap up a stick of butter from the fridge and put it under the tree, labeled “To Mallory, Love Mallory”. We still talk about it every year! (She is now 24!).
My favorite holiday moment has to be the carving of the turkey 😀
One of my favorites was my sister and my last year in college, my parents had just moved and were crazy busy so we did not get a tree until Christmas eve. My sister and I had to go get it right before the place closed meaning we tied a 6 ft tree to the top of her 1973 VW Bug. We then went shopping and felt like we were spreading cheer to everyone we passed, all who were starring!
When I was growing up, my family and I would do advent readings together before Christmas, and that was really special 🙂
Love the card designs Minted has to offer! I can see how you had a hard time picking which one to use.
One of my favorite holiday memories was when I was just starting to stop believing in Santa. My mom took me to pick out glasses and we saw this man while we there who looked just like him. He started talking to me and I couldn’t decide if it was really Santa or not. He said to look up at the sky on my way home and I’d see him. Sure enough, on the way home I saw a red light in the sky (it was dark).
The man probably figured the odds of me seeing plane lights were pretty good but I still remember that fuzzy feeling. It helped me believe a little longer 😉
My favorite memory is riding around in the car with our parents looking at Christmas lights
I love getting Christmas cards in the mail too! Also just jammin’ to Christmas music in the car, driving past snow and gorgeously-lit trees. Love.
Hope I win!!
My favorite holiday moment is having a delicious Christmas morning breakfast and relaxing with my family!
Love, Love, Love Minted! They always have the coolest designs.
My favorite holiday moment is drinking hot chocolate with my family on Christmas morning in our special Christmas mugs!
I love holiday cards. I always go all out and take some crazy Christmas pictures with my corgi pup, Tina Fey 🙂 Everyone is a fan.
my favorite holiday memory is when my aunt and grandmother would come over to spend the night Christmas eve and we would make chocolate covered toffee and sprinkle reindeer food in the front yard for Santa’s reindeer! It was always so much fun!
The first snow for my cousins from Arizona, too cute and funny!
My sisters and I always walked downstairs in matching pajamas singing happy birthday Jesus : )
In college my girlfriends and I would decorate our house. We hung stockings on our fireplace and made a christmas tree and menorah out of construction paper. Before break we would have a big party to celebrate. Good memories!
I love photo holiday cards!
Christmas morning. Hands down, my favourite part of Christmas!
My favorite holiday tradition is going through all of our ornaments as we put them on the tree and remembering their stories!
love this giveaway!
I love driving around looking at Christmas lights with the kids, seeing the gorgeous lights at the zoo and Christmas morning watching the kids open their gifts with such wonder and excitement.
I love getting together with my family! It is the one time my sister comes home all year!
I love relaxing with only Xmas lights on the tree lighting up the room.
I love driving around looking at Christmas lights with a hot peppermint mocha in my hands….
I love minted! We stumbled upon them trying to do our adoption profile but never used them. A wonderful friend ended up making our profile for us. I was thinking of doing a family Xmas photo card this year. We got great pics with my hubby and son for the profile book 🙂
My favorite thing is to watch Its a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve!!
When we were kids, my Dad would always pull out the video camera and capture the moments when we first woke up and ran to the Christmas tree.
I live decorating the tree with my kids.
the cute moments are the ones I can’t wait for! the one with little “the inevitable” having his or her first Christmas.
My favorite Christmas moment is singing silent night by candle light during midnight church service on Christmas eve.
My favorite holiday memory was my husband and my first Christmas together when we were going to look at lights with his family. I got really really sick and wasn’t able to go, but his family was so sweet and took care of me before they left and it showed me how much they cared about me.
I love baking and sharing all the delicious treats with my friends and family!
