10 Days of Giveaways: Day 7 (MyYogaPro)
How about a little giveaway afternoon pick-me-up?
Something stretchy, relaxing, strengthening, invigorating…. there’s nothing in the world like a good yoga practice.
And up until now, nothing like having access to over 200 online yoga classes and the help of an amazing instructor.
My friend Erin, aka the Bad Yogi, has graced the pages of this blog with her amazing guest posts and videos. She’s basically the best of the best when it comes to yoga instructors: playful, kind, knowledgeable and a little bit of a rebel. I love her whimsical approach to the practice and have enjoyed all of her YouTube videos that I’ve tried.
She teamed up with DoYouYoga to create an online platform of yoga classes, called My Yoga Pro. My Yoga Pro includes a variety of yoga classes and an interactive method to track your achievements along the way. You can check out their Kickstarter video here for more information about the project. MYP is ready to launch, and to celebrate its inception, Erin kindly offered two all-access passes to some lucky yogis (or aspiring yogis!). The world needs more yoga, and I’m really excited that My Yoga Pro will make the practice accessible to everyone. When we lived in Valdosta, the closest yoga studio was two hours away, and I know this would have come in handy! The access passes are also reasonably priced, especially when compared to studio membership.
Two lucky readers will get all-access passes to over 200 online classes.
Here’s how to enter:
This giveaway, along with all of the week two giveaways, will end this Saturday night at midnight.

you seriously have the best give-aways…and I love pigeon 🙂
I love pigeon pose and goddess pose.
This would be so great to help me make sure I fit in yoga every week!
Pigeon and Triangle are my favorite poses!
Pigeon is my favorite pose, I hurts so good on my hips!
As odd as this is my favorite pose is downward dog….
I just started yoga two months ago and I am officially obsessed, has to be tree and eagle pose
well I’ve never done yoga, so I’m going to say Cobra? Our bootcamp instructor has us do it in warm up…
This is something I definitely could use int he new year to get my yoga routine back on course!
Pigeon!
Love forward bends and down dog!
Pigeon is my medicine.
Dancer pose!
Six months ago I had surgery to repair a labral tear in my left hip. It has been a long road to getting my flexibility left. Despite following my PT plan I was still feeling a small amount of pain. I decided to try yoga. It was life changing! My pain is gone and I can’t wait to learn more!
the wheel!
For some reason I love triangle pose, actually I think its a love/hate relationship. My other favorite is child’s pose.
I’ve realized recently that different sources of stress (work home etc) all pile into one pot – and hope that yoga could be a source of relief for me!
Child’s pose
Pigeon pose and childs pose are always my favorites.
I don’t know a lot of yoga poses yet since I’m still trying to get into it, but I’m super prone to shin splints and tight hamstrings, so downward dog has been a go-to move for years! 😀
It’s so generic but after I’m done running and static stretching, I finish up with Downward dog into Upward facing dog and finishing in childs pose. It feels so good after a long run!
I love child’s pose!
It’s a tie between pigeon and happy baby 🙂
Pigeon pose!
I love twisted triangle
Oh my goodness, great pic of you in the pose!
Child’s pose!
My favorite pose of this week has to be tree….because I finally got my foot above my knee for the first time ever and held it 🙂
Pigeon is glorious for the hips after a run!
I love tree pose!
Pigeon pose is my absolute favorite. I agree that the world needs more yoga, it is amazing for the mind and body!
Child’s pose! Great for the hips after work.
I love bridge pose! Would love to win a pass to My Yoga Pro!
I would be an aspiring yogi, I’ve taken a couple classes, but nothing regularly, so I would find my favorite pose after this tryout.
This is just what I need to get my yoga practice going again!
oh my gosh i would LOVE this! i have gotten into yoga and this would be amazing to have in handy 🙂 my favorite poseS (<cant choose!) are crow and eagle, and i am working on solidifying my handstand 🙂
Pigeon feels so good for my tight hips (from running!).
Sounds like the perfect way to start a home practice!
I could definitely use some more yoga in my life right now. I love Warrior 2. It always makes me feel so strong!
I don’t know how to do a lot of yoga…..but downward dog is my favorite of the poses that I do know how to do! 🙂
Pigeon is my favorite 🙂
Pigeon Pose!!
I love pigeon…I’m not very good at yoga at all, but I tell a difference in how my body feels when I’m consistent with my practice. I’d love to have access to more videos and poses as there aren’t many affordable options near me 🙂
Warrior!
Dancer’s pose all the way!
Downward dog… as basic as it is, somehow it always relaxes me and brings my focus inward. Everything gets better from there.
I’ve never done yoga so I don’t have a favourite pose. I really want to get into doing it 🙂
I love pigeon pose!
Pigeon pose! I love the hip opening aspect of it. It’s one of my favorite poses to go into, especially after a run.
My favorite pose is downward dog because its so simple, anyone can do it, and it stretches out the biggest muscles in your body.
