10 Days of Giveaways: Day 7 (MyYogaPro)

How about a little giveaway afternoon pick-me-up?

10daysofgiveaways

Something stretchy, relaxing, strengthening, invigorating…. there’s nothing in the world like a good yoga practice.

Balance 1 of 1

And up until now, nothing like having access to over 200 online yoga classes and the help of an amazing instructor.

My friend Erin, aka the Bad Yogi, has graced the pages of this blog with her amazing guest posts and videos. She’s basically the best of the best when it comes to yoga instructors: playful, kind, knowledgeable and a little bit of a rebel. I love her whimsical approach to the practice and have enjoyed all of her YouTube videos that I’ve tried.

She teamed up with DoYouYoga to create an online platform of yoga classes, called My Yoga Pro. My Yoga Pro includes a variety of yoga classes and an interactive method to track your achievements along the way. You can check out their Kickstarter video here for more information about the project. MYP is ready to launch, and to celebrate its inception, Erin kindly offered two all-access passes to some lucky yogis (or aspiring yogis!). The world needs more yoga, and I’m really excited that My Yoga Pro will make the practice accessible to everyone. When we lived in Valdosta, the closest yoga studio was two hours away, and I know this would have come in handy! The access passes are also reasonably priced, especially when compared to studio membership.

Two lucky readers will get all-access passes to over 200 online classes.

Here’s how to enter:

This giveaway, along with all of the week two giveaways, will end this Saturday night at midnight.

  5. Liz on December 10, 2013 at 7:40 pm

I just started to try yoga and I’m definitely still a beginner. So far downward dog gives a good stretch.

  6. Amee on December 10, 2013 at 7:40 pm

  10. Jen on December 10, 2013 at 7:45 pm

I don’t have a favorite yet. But I have been thinking a lot lately about trying to add yoga to my current program. This would be a great place to start (maybe after one or 2 studio classes to get some form cues).

  11. Jayne on December 10, 2013 at 7:48 pm

Our yoga studios are so expensive in my area. This looks like a great alternative!

  12. Coco on December 10, 2013 at 7:50 pm

I love Eagle pose. It makes me feel strong!

  13. Meagan on December 10, 2013 at 7:50 pm

  14. Sarah @ Love Bites on December 10, 2013 at 7:50 pm

How cool! My fave pose would have to be Corpse pose 😉

  15. HannahL on December 10, 2013 at 7:50 pm

I love downward facing dog! Besides feeling like a great base pose for any yoga flow, it really stretches many muscles I often forget about.

  16. Florence (@SquigglemeFloey) on December 10, 2013 at 7:50 pm

    downward dog!

  17. Emily on December 10, 2013 at 7:50 pm

    Tree pose!

  19. Morgan on December 10, 2013 at 7:52 pm

I don’t have a favorite pose yet! Yoga is something I’ve always wanted to get into; a whole new type of workout for me that would probably do me just as much good mentally as physically. Cost has always detered me, this is a great solution!

  20. Ashley on December 10, 2013 at 7:53 pm

I rarely do yoga because I’m so intimidated by it so I’d have to say child’s pose 😉

  21. Laura on December 10, 2013 at 7:54 pm

    I love pigeon’s pose

  22. Katie @ Talk Less, Say More on December 10, 2013 at 7:55 pm

  26. Haley on December 10, 2013 at 7:59 pm

Downward dog 🙂 This would be soo great! Since yoga studios seem to be so expensive, I have just been doing the P90x yoga tape over and over!

  27. Linda on December 10, 2013 at 8:00 pm

I am new to yoga and working on it. Great giveaway.

  28. Anne Walker on December 10, 2013 at 8:01 pm

  29. krysten on December 10, 2013 at 8:02 pm

    Definitely pigeon!

  30. layna on December 10, 2013 at 8:02 pm

    ahhh. pigeon pose!

  32. Jess p on December 10, 2013 at 8:03 pm

This would have been perfect the other day when my yoga studio was closed due to snow!

  33. Christine on December 10, 2013 at 8:04 pm

It has to be a tie between tripod headstand (because if I can do that, I can do anything) and pigeon pose (because my IT bands thank me).

  34. Maggie J on December 10, 2013 at 8:04 pm

I love headstand! also I lost my only yoga dvd’s and I was recently wanting to get back into lead practices. Sounds like a great resource!

  37. Sarah on December 10, 2013 at 8:06 pm

    Warrior 🙂

  38. Corinne on December 10, 2013 at 8:06 pm

  47. Cori on December 10, 2013 at 8:16 pm

  48. Betsy on December 10, 2013 at 8:19 pm
