Sunday morning
Lovely view
Tempeh bacon
Brunch for two <3
Since the only remedy for a lazy Saturday night is sleeping in (?), we slowly got up, were covered in morning kisses from Bella, and I made some bfast.
Tempeh bacon <—if served on one plate, it isn’t as obvious that I’m the only one eating it
Omelets
(2 eggs with goat cheese and lots of arugula for me, 3 eggs with cheddar and arugula for him)
Tea for me, mango smoothie for him + cornbread from last night with butter and honey
It’s an off day from the gym, so we’re getting in some leisurely farmer’s market cardio:
Enjoy your Sunday and I’ll see ya later <3
xoxo

Something to think:
?"Plenty of people miss their share of happiness, not because they never found it, but because they didn’t stop to enjoy it."
William Feather
Love the quote! Looks like the perfect leisurely Sunday to me! 🙂
We’re relaxing with some protein pancakes over here and maybe a hike in the snow later on.
Enjoy your day!
I really love that quote. As someone who likes to plan things out as much as possible, I sometimes catch myself living in the future and missing the present. After moving from Boston to SF and back again (all in the past year and a half!), I’ve been making it a point to take in the things around me that I love so much about Boston. For example, fall is my favorite season, but in the past I’ve been too busy to stop and just appreciate the beautiful foliage. This year I’ve made it a point to slow down and take a moment to truly take in my environment and be thankful. 🙂
Beautiful Sunday!! Love the relaxation and calmness of Sundays!!!
xxoo
I love easy and leisurely Sunday mornings … they are the best!
Gah i would LOVE a sunday brunch like that… especially outside on the patio, but its far too cold here already to even think about going outside with out your coat on!
I need to make some tempeh bac’un sometime soon; it’s quite yummy. Your whole breakfast looks divine! Enjoy your Sunday. 🙂
I’ve never had tempeh! What is it?! I like anything with the word “bacon” though!! (:
I was vegetarian for 3+ years and never managed to have or make tempeh bacon, though I loved tempeh. Looks amazing. I love your Sunday!
Mine is watching Halloween-y movies with my boyfriend and our friend and splurging on pizza!
the bacon and omelet look perfect! Glad you guys are spending time together at the market…have fun! 🙂
love the quote<3
This is such a wonderful post … Such an easy breakfast but also packed with good nutrients to help you get through the day 🙂
What a beautiful quote – so true, being present brings so much to your life! 🙂 Must practice it more, lol! 😛
That breakfast looks delicious – I love taking sundays as a leisurely relaxed rest day, it’s so much for to let the day unfold without an workout schedule at all – even though I love working out – nice to have a rest! Enjoy the farmers market! <3 xyx
Looks like a perfect Sunday to me! 🙂 And wow, I’ve never seen tempeh bacon before!
our farmer’s market closed down for the winter this weekend 🙁 do you have it year round in az? super jealous if so!
Farmer’s market cardio is the best kind of cardio! I’m sad I missed ours this weekend!
Hope you’re enjoying your Sunday! 😀
I love days like these, easy and relaxing. Not sure if you posted the corn bread recipe, but I have been looking for healthy one, did I miss the link? Thanks
no, i forgot to link to it! http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/golden-sweet-cornbread/detail.aspx i used white flour since it was for the pilot, but it would be easy to sub out a GF flour if you’re gluten-free
Mmmm I love omlets but for me the tempeh bacon and the cornbread stole the show in that brunch! Both look incredible!
Your morning looks lovely! I love sleeping in on Sundays too. It is the best sleep in day of the week I feel. I went to the farmers market as well, and got some crazy deals! All excellent Sunday activities.

I’ve never used Nama Shoyu before. Think I can sub regular soy sauce in the bacon recipe?
definitely
