And you’re looking great! Where are your bootie shorts from? Love! I actually got a similar pair from lululemon and also Tarjay!! They are so comfortable! I actually prefer them to my denim cutoffs. I just can’t wear jeans anymore! Lol. Gimme all the spandex

Hint for the forearm (pincha ) balance – look forward towards your fingertips and beyond. Melt between your shoulder blades and pull your heart through your hands like up dog – keep your feet alive – flex or point

    🙂

awesome tips- thank you!!! i’m excited to practice now 🙂 i’ll let you know how it goes

Your legs look amazing in that last pic! I’ve always wanted to be about to do a headstand, but never bother to try and work up to it. Cutie little beach baby you have!

    • Fitnessista on July 7, 2014 at 11:37 am

      thank you so much!!

  13. Julie on July 7, 2014 at 12:50 am

Oh my gosh, I need some Indian food. Your arm balance is perfect!

  14. Ali on July 7, 2014 at 1:09 am

You can totally do the scorpion with splits! to build up your muscles and balance you may want to try doing dolphins – going into downward dog on your forearms ears in line with your upper arms. then move your chin over your knuckles, then back to your starting position. I have found this really improves your base for the pose so you can add some flair with the legs!

    • Fitnessista on July 7, 2014 at 11:37 am

      awesome- i’ll try that!

  17. Abi@AbsofSteel on July 7, 2014 at 7:09 am

lol, “sauerkimchi” sounds like something my mom would adore. Nice forearm stand!! I can’t seem to move past the headstand inversion myself.

  18. Lucie@FitSwissChick on July 7, 2014 at 7:19 am

Forarm stand, my goal too! My handstand is coming, so nice!

I never had a s’more before, can you believe it? Swiss people have no idea what it is 🙂

    • Fitnessista on July 7, 2014 at 11:35 am

      whaaaaat?! it’s a lifechanger

Avoiding toppling over is key! I used to dance (acro) and I can’t even hold a handstand for longer than 10 seconds anymore. Crazy the things you lose that were so natural when you were younger (<—now I'm just making myself sound incredibly old even though I'm only 28 hahah).

  21. Hillary | Nutrition Nut on the Run on July 7, 2014 at 1:45 pm

  22. Tracy on July 7, 2014 at 2:39 pm
