How’s your day been? Mine has been a lovely day in Valdizzy.
As soon as I got into town, I got right to biznazz and stopped at two faves:
Main Squeeze for a green juice
and Longhorn for a sweet potato and veggies.
It was a glorious little snack 
After snacking, stopping to run some quick errands, I went over to help set up for Jeni’s baby shower.
We had the shower at Stage 51, which is a super cute wine and coffee bar. Of course it opened right after I moved 
We set out vases of fresh flowers,
and a table with the game info, cards for the guests to write out their address for thank-you notes, and baby pictures of the mom and dad-to-be.
The favors were chocolate bars with homemade wrappers that our friend Meara made:

food!!! (bruschetta, pita, cheese platter, hummus, olive tapenade, vegan tomato bisque, fresh fruit, mini red velvet cupcakes)

It was a gorgeous shower for an amazing friend- I was so happy I could be here this weekend to celebrate
I’m off to dinner with Jeni and her family!

What a beautiful shower!! Omg I just started crying b/c I remember my baby shower. I swear, just seeing babies, pregnant women, or the word shower..and I am a pile of estrogen. Many blessings to Jeni and her family 🙂

OMG THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!! Nothing worse than being at the tail end of pregnancy, super tired, and trying to find ppl’s addresses and writing out thank you cards. I think that thank you cards and skipping them should be the rule when you’re 8 mos pregnant. Or in my case, my shower was 2 days before I went into labor. Thank you cards weren’t on my brain!
Oh WOW! I love all of the decor, and the cake, and those chocolate bars!! I hope you had a great afternoon celebrating with your friend. By the looks of things it wouldn’t have been difficult! 🙂

the best is that you made the effort/travelled to be there, gina…gifts are great, but when people take the time to attend/contribute…that’s what really makes the celebration special.

For this weeks shape up – maybe for each set one abs move so at the end there is no doubt you had a killer abs workout. And I’ve liked the balance of biceps\triceps each week – it’s been intense and doable. Thanks again for posting the workouts!
The diapers from my diaper cake lasted me almost 2 weeks! I’d never even heard of such a thing before my own shower, but it’s such a cute idea 🙂

The nutrition stats are so funny! I’m filing that idea away for future baby showers. It looks like a lovely party with a great spread. The best part…the whole party seemed to be oozing love, which is really the most important thing of all.
