A very special blogiversary [giveaway]- ended

So the blog is 3 years old!!
The blog actually turned 3 last week, but with the Summer Shape Up and exciting news, I didnโt want to overload the week with too much going on.
For this post, I was originally planning on doing a list of events that have happened in the past 3 years, and then I realized:
1. A LOT of stuff has gone down and
2. the events arenโt what matter– itโs about the community, support, discussions and relationships that have been created in this tiny speck on the internet ๐ You are 99.9% of the reason why this blog is what it isโฆ I just write it, youโre the ones who show up for the party ๐
This little blog began as an urge to share my love of health and a distraction from online shopping while I was bored in Valdosta – it has grown so much in the past 3 years. Itโs changed and evolved with me, and Iโve had so much fun writing every word.
As a little thank you for changing my life, making this so rewarding and enjoyable, and just for being awesome, I thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway. Giving is always better than receiving for special occasions, anyway ๐ I picked a few of my absolute favorite things and this giveaway is sponsored by myself and the Pilot ๐

Congrats on your three years Gina! In the next year I’d love to hear more about juggling health, work, and family. I don’t know too many young couples whose marriages I would care to emulate, so I find your posts on family really inspiring. I also wanted to thank you for not equating fitness and health with being a certain weight. It’s very refreshing. So yeah, keep up the general awesomeness!

So excited to see how your lifestyle adapts to the pregnancy and baby! I lost all my baby weight in a few weeks, but still have some jiggiliness I didn’t before – it’s extremely hard to find time to exercise when all you want to do (when you’re not working) is hang out with your baby.

This year I’d like to read about how you stay fit during pregnancy, what you do after you have the bambino (which will be in 2012, but that’s still in the next 12 months) to get fit, how it feels to have a changing body, etc.

I can’t wait to see more about your transition into motherhood, but I also want the blog to stay fresh and fun and not too “baby-centered”.
I would love to see more about your exercise and eating changes through pregnancy (like if you’ve made any major food changes or things you’ve cut out and what you are going to keep doing or stop doing as the pregnancy continues!) – obviously this isn’t the next year thing, since you won’t be preggers the whole time lol. So, I’d also like to see recipes, eats and workouts – which you do now and I find them fab!

Gosh, what would I like to see more of? Although I’m not planning on getting preggers anytime soon I am definitely interested in hearing more about that. I also love the Show Me Your Fit posts, they are inspiring, give me ideas of new things to try and remind me how fun being active is. Just more of what you’re already doing :).
I too would love some more recipes and some more tips on toning and building lean muscle. I’m a big runner and am very into the cardio aspects of fitness.
I would love to see more tips on balancing fitness and family and work. I need some help with that ๐ Also, more Bella, because you can never have enough adorableness in your day.

Gina, just keep doing what you’re doing. I especially appreciate that you’ve seperated your family posts from your lifestyle posts…but don’t feel like you have to do that all the time! I mean, the baby is going to be part of your life, right? But i love that you are focusing on the community that you built and not trying to switch it up on us.

Hi Gina! I would love to see more shape-up routines! I think they are so helpful and you do a summer shape-up, but what about a winter keep-up?? I find that tend to lose it in the winter because it is so cold, maybe you could do a special winter feature? Oh and as many baby pics as possible ๐
