A very special blogiversary [giveaway]- ended
Hi friends ๐ Howโs your morning going? Hope youโre having a wonderful day. <3
So the blog is 3 years old!!
The blog actually turned 3 last week, but with the Summer Shape Up and exciting news, I didnโt want to overload the week with too much going on.
For this post, I was originally planning on doing a list of events that have happened in the past 3 years, and then I realized:
1. A LOT of stuff has gone down and
2. the events arenโt what matter– itโs about the community, support, discussions and relationships that have been created in this tiny speck on the internet ๐ You are 99.9% of the reason why this blog is what it isโฆ I just write it, youโre the ones who show up for the party ๐
This little blog began as an urge to share my love of health and a distraction from online shopping while I was bored in Valdosta – it has grown so much in the past 3 years. Itโs changed and evolved with me, and Iโve had so much fun writing every word.
As a little thank you for changing my life, making this so rewarding and enjoyable, and just for being awesome, I thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway. Giving is always better than receiving for special occasions, anyway ๐ I picked a few of my absolute favorite things and this giveaway is sponsored by myself and the Pilot ๐
To go with the โ3 yearsโ theme, there will be 3 different winners:
-1 commenter will receive my favorite lululemon jacket, the Define Jacket in a color/size of their choice ($99)
-1 Facebook fan will receive a pair of Toms shoes (size/color of choice) and a Nars Orgasm blush from Sephora ($100)
(Iโm OBSESSED with the new crochet ones!! And everyone needs this blush)
-1 Twitter friend will receive a iTools Style Winder 1โ curling iron ($140)
(I still owe ya a video on how to use it, because itโs life-changing)
+ each winner will receive a dozen macaroons in a flavor of their choice ๐
This means you have 3 different ways to win 3 different prizes:
***This giveaway has ended as of 9:35 EST on June 15.
Thank you again for an incredible 3 years ๐
Love you guys,
Gina
Happy (belated) Bloggie Birthday,
I can’t explain how much I look forward to your posts on a daily basis. I’m bummed (and apparently greedy) when new ones aren’t posted yet! LoL! It has altered the way I look at food. Now food is a fuel verse something to feel guilty about! I would love to see a post on how certain health foods affect the body. Stress relievers, mood enhancers, sex drive boosters, etc.
Thanks for all that you do!!!!!
…just tweeted as well! http://twitter.com/#!/poiseinparma/status/80655497556017152
i’d love to watch the “family” section grow and change with you and HOW you will manage (and i’m sure you will ๐ healthy eating and exercise with a little one. also, i would be interested in seeing how you eventually instill good nutrition in said little one!
Obviously all of the baby-related news!! And how your fitness and food habits continue to change with it (and post-baby!) Congrats on 3 amazing years!! ๐
I’m looking forward to seeing how your workouts evolve with the bambino and beyond. Also looking forward to seeing some house decorating tips and more dinner parties once you guys move!
Id love to see more easy recipes for breakfasts and snacks!
I want to see the details on your pregnancy journey, it’s such an intimidating experience…especially being able to see ways you can remain active (under the care of your doctor of course, since each woman is different).
AHHH! Happy blog-a-versary!
I tweeted and I’m a fan.
I’d love to see more exercise demonstrations! It’s so great as a novice to have everything shown exactly the way it should be done ๐
I’m a new reader and have loved the summer shape up series! Look forward to more in the coming year.
I’m really interested to read about your workouts will change over the next few months!
Happy blogversary!
Congratulations on three years. I can’t wait to see and hear more about your growing family!
I love everything you do Gina! I’d love to see your tips for motivation, more of your yummy savory/salty recipes and little peeks into your fun (and changing) home life ๐
Keep up the awesome!
I love reading your blog! In the next year, I look forward to more recipes and food ideas!
This is a great giveaway. I obviously am looking forward to all of the baby news. I really want to know how hard/easy it is to keep up with your workouts while you are pregnant and the changes your body goes through. I am looking forward to having a baby one day and want to know all I can about another woman’s experience,
Lauren
I’ve been reading for about six months now, but this is my first time commenting. While I am excited to read about how your pregnancy progresses (and all that comes along with that), I am also excited to hear about your guys’ move and decorating adventures!
Happy blogiversary! In the next year, I cannot wait to watch your pregnancy journey unfold since we’re only a few weeks apart ๐
I only came across your blog a few months ago and I’m so glad I did because I love that you give us so many new workouts to try out! And cute pictures of the Pilot also keep me coming back (whoops did I just say that out loud??) But I think my favorite thing is how bubbly and fun your posts are, so basically don’t stop being yourself and I’ll keep reading!
Side note: I don’t own anything from lululemon cause I am a broke college kid and I’m now salivating at how beautiful that jacket is. In wren denim to be exact. I’m obsessed ๐
I’d love to see/read more pregnancy tidbits, pictures of your new house, and of course more of the same!
I love how you seem so positive all the time! I understand that you have your bad days too but your posts always seem to cheer me up if I feel blue ๐
I am excited to see more news about the baby too…
I would love to see more fashion posts! I love love love them! Thanks for the giveaway! It’s a good one.
I love your blog! I don’t know what I would do without it during those slow times at work, hehe! In the next year, I am really looking forward to posts about your experience with being pregnant and active – We’ll be starting our own family here within the next couple of years, and I want to try my best to keep up as much of an exercise/nutrition routine as possible when the time comes. Oh, and of course, I’m insanely excited to hear all about a baby Fitnessista/Pilot – so cool!!! You are a great role model and inspire me each and every day to treat my body well!
Happy Blog bday!
I’ve been following you for about half your journey, and I’m excited for this next chapter in your life – and looking forward to new eats/treats/and workouts! xo

I answered the question!
Congrats on the blogiversary! I would love to continuing seeing hard core workouts like summer shape up and more of the “Focus on” posts (I love these!).

Happy 3rd anniversary! I love reading your blog Gina! I hope for plenty of yummy eats, helpful fitness tips and reviews (many ways to use your baby as a weight? ๐ and the fun Gina fashion/life comments.
Wow – you are so generous ๐ I have often read your blog, since I joined Twitter and found all the awesome things you discuss.
Congrats on 3 years & the new addition to the family on the way ๐
Have a great Tuesday!
I love your blog! Congrats on 3 years! ๐
My name is Joanna, and I’m relatively new to the healthy-living blog world. I am extremely interested to hear your thoughts on group fitness classes and how they relate to peer (workout) pressure. Group fitness classes are my favorite, but I often struggle with comparing myself to others in the class. My boyfriend does crossfit and he likes to pick a person to try to catch up to/beat — but can that be dangerous? Do you take group fitness classes? What has your experience been like?
Congrats on 3 years!!
I love your blog already as is, especially the recipes and workouts and just everyday life stuff!! But I am loving the family posts recently so I would love to see more of those and especially how pregnancy affects (or if it does) workouts, eating, and all that. I’m sure the posts will change a bit over the course of your pregnancy and after having a baby which is great!
I tweeted!
The easy answer is I’d like to see more of what you tend to do already: workout ideas, fashion finds, and updates on your family and personal life. A more critical answer is that I would like to learn more raw cooking and how it relates pregancy health and home deco (YAY!).
Happy blog birthday!
Happy Blogiversary! I’m so excited to hear more about your growing family but also fashion! I love your fashion posts!
Optimism and changing the outlook on life to accomplish goals!
I would love to see more fashion posts and touristy spots in Arizonia!!!
I dig the fashion posts — keep ’em coming! For the most part I’ve got the health and wellness aspect of my life figured out but still struggle with dressing myself, haha. I love your style! Some posts on dressing for special occasions (meeting the parents, wedding, etc). or for different body types would be great, I think.
I’m also curious about your experience with homeopathic and non-traditional medicine. Could you write a post explaining how you started exploring non-Western healing?
Sending peace and good vibes,
Shayna
I’m looking forward to more family posts and in the future if/when I decide to have a baby, a guide to look back on for a healthy pregnancy ๐ Congratulations!
Happy blogiversary!! I am really looking forward to hearing about your pregnancy and the addition to your family over the next year! Of course all your workouts and meals will still be interesting, but this is such an exciting time of you life and I know all your readers will be excited to hear all about it too!
