A very special blogiversary [giveaway]- ended

Hi friends ๐Ÿ™‚ Howโ€™s your morning going? Hope youโ€™re having a wonderful day. <3

So the blog is 3 years old!!

roon

The blog actually turned 3 last week, but with the Summer Shape Up and exciting news, I didnโ€™t want to overload the week with too much going on.

For this post, I was originally planning on doing a list of events that have happened in the past 3 years, and then I realized:

1. A LOT of stuff has gone down and

2. the events arenโ€™t what matter– itโ€™s about the community, support, discussions and relationships that have been created in this tiny speck on the internet ๐Ÿ™‚ You are 99.9% of the reason why this blog is what it isโ€ฆ I just write it, youโ€™re the ones who show up for the party ๐Ÿ™‚

This little blog began as an urge to share my love of health and a distraction from online shopping while I was bored in Valdosta – it has grown so much in the past 3 years. Itโ€™s changed and evolved with me, and Iโ€™ve had so much fun writing every word.

As a little thank you for changing my life, making this so rewarding and enjoyable, and just for being awesome, I thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway. Giving is always better than receiving for special occasions, anyway ๐Ÿ™‚ I picked a few of my absolute favorite things and this giveaway is sponsored by myself and the Pilot ๐Ÿ˜€

To go with the โ€œ3 yearsโ€ theme, there will be 3 different winners:

-1 commenter will receive my favorite lululemon jacket, the Define Jacket in a color/size of their choice ($99)

-1 Facebook fan will receive a pair of Toms shoes (size/color of choice) and a Nars Orgasm blush from Sephora ($100)

image image

(Iโ€™m OBSESSED with the new crochet ones!! And everyone needs this blush)

-1 Twitter friend will receive a iTools Style Winder 1โ€ curling iron ($140)

image romper

(I still owe ya a video on how to use it, because itโ€™s life-changing)

+ each winner will receive a dozen macaroons in a flavor of their choice ๐Ÿ˜€

roons (3)

This means you have 3 different ways to win 3 different prizes:

***This giveaway has ended as of 9:35 EST on June 15.

Thank you again for an incredible 3 years ๐Ÿ™‚

Love you guys,

Gina

i am toying with the idea of starting a blog but looking at yours, i feel overwhelmed and intimidated. you provide so much helpful information, tips and recipes and update daily! i feel we are on similar paths in that we (my version of the pilot and I) are thinking of starting a family soon. So excited for the progress over the next year!

  15. Juliene on June 14, 2011 at 12:11 pm

Congrats! I think blogs age in dog years so 3 years is more like 21 so whoohoo! I have to say as a fellow pregnant lady that over the next year I’m looking forward to seeing your pregnancy journey. Keep u’s informed on the workouts and eats!

  16. Jen on June 14, 2011 at 12:11 pm

I would love to see more workout of the week moves. They help me to switch it up while I am at the gym.

  17. Laura on June 14, 2011 at 12:11 pm

I’d LOVE to see some more workouts dedicated to certain regions of the body, like, arm blast, ab blasts. They are great to have on hand at the gym to spice things up. Also, any way we can print workouts directly from your website (like recipes on other site). Your blog has become my favorite. Thanks for the smiles.

  18. Danna on June 14, 2011 at 12:11 pm

Love the give-aways but love the blog more. Dare I say, I would love to see your prego work-out routines, and how you incorporate fitness into your new life-style. I’m a mama of a 2 year old and just got this saggy bottom back into the gym. I would love some mama motivation!

  37. Nancy on June 14, 2011 at 12:17 pm

I know this isn’t necessarily a “baby blog” but I’m hoping you will address balancing life (fitness, eating, social) with a little one around. Also I’d love for you to share your perspective on your child’s diet and how you strive to make it as healthy as possible (obviously this won’t be relevant immediately!).

  38. Brooke @ The Bohemian Coconut on June 14, 2011 at 12:18 pm

I want to see what you have in plan for shaping up while being pregnant and also what your plan is for after

  39. vicky on June 14, 2011 at 12:18 pm

Hi Gina, Hi Tom! I’ve been a reader for quite some time, and I’m just so happy for you guys… thank you for sharing your lives with us readers… even though I don’t *know* you, I find it hard to imagine that you will not be exceptional parents!…. Congrats again on the baby and happy blogiversary, as well….! I can’t wait for baby blog posts and updates in the coming year… if I win, please keep the $$$ and gifts to go towards baby. I wouldn’t mind trying some meyer lemon-lavender ‘roons, though!

  40. Stephanie on June 14, 2011 at 12:18 pm

Happy 3 years! I love reading your blog everyday and am so excited to see what this next year brings. I am particularly interested in watching your family grow ๐Ÿ™‚ and of course, all the yummy recipes you are sure to post!

  41. Melissa on June 14, 2011 at 12:19 pm

I am also interested in seeing how pregnancy and motherhood balances out with everything else you do- fitness, cooking, travel, etc.

  42. Amy R on June 14, 2011 at 12:19 pm

I love your blog and congrats on 3 years! I’d like to see more posts that are geared towards us rat race office workers. It’s a drag sitting in an office for 8 hours a day! I realized lately that I follow blogs by people who don’t have a set 8-5 schedule out of their house and these workouts and food choices really aren’t conducive to my life. I love reading about your life and take on things, so I would love to see how that translates a bit to a job/life like mine. Keep up the good work!

  43. Jasmine on June 14, 2011 at 12:19 pm

    Hey Gina!
Congratulations on your success with the blog. It was the first blog I started following and it’s still the first one I catch up on every day ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m looking forward to following your baby story over the next year, as well as how you handle staying fit during pregnancy and beyond.
Here’s wishing you and the Pilot all the success and happiness in the world.
    -Jasmine from Canada ๐Ÿ™‚

I like the workouts…keep them coming, please?
