A very special blogiversary [giveaway]- ended
Hi friends ๐ Howโs your morning going? Hope youโre having a wonderful day. <3
So the blog is 3 years old!!
The blog actually turned 3 last week, but with the Summer Shape Up and exciting news, I didnโt want to overload the week with too much going on.
For this post, I was originally planning on doing a list of events that have happened in the past 3 years, and then I realized:
1. A LOT of stuff has gone down and
2. the events arenโt what matter– itโs about the community, support, discussions and relationships that have been created in this tiny speck on the internet ๐ You are 99.9% of the reason why this blog is what it isโฆ I just write it, youโre the ones who show up for the party ๐
This little blog began as an urge to share my love of health and a distraction from online shopping while I was bored in Valdosta – it has grown so much in the past 3 years. Itโs changed and evolved with me, and Iโve had so much fun writing every word.
As a little thank you for changing my life, making this so rewarding and enjoyable, and just for being awesome, I thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway. Giving is always better than receiving for special occasions, anyway ๐ I picked a few of my absolute favorite things and this giveaway is sponsored by myself and the Pilot ๐
To go with the โ3 yearsโ theme, there will be 3 different winners:
-1 commenter will receive my favorite lululemon jacket, the Define Jacket in a color/size of their choice ($99)
-1 Facebook fan will receive a pair of Toms shoes (size/color of choice) and a Nars Orgasm blush from Sephora ($100)
(Iโm OBSESSED with the new crochet ones!! And everyone needs this blush)
-1 Twitter friend will receive a iTools Style Winder 1โ curling iron ($140)
(I still owe ya a video on how to use it, because itโs life-changing)
+ each winner will receive a dozen macaroons in a flavor of their choice ๐
This means you have 3 different ways to win 3 different prizes:
***This giveaway has ended as of 9:35 EST on June 15.
Thank you again for an incredible 3 years ๐
Love you guys,
Gina
I would love to see how the new family evolves and grows in the next year. The struggle of balance with continuing a healthy lifestyle pregnant and preparing for the future. Why? Because I relate! I have a daughter who will be 2 in August and a husband who travels for work so I really relate to you in a lot of ways. Basically, just continue “keeping it real” and we will all continue to love this blog!

This is my favorite blog! Congratulations on 3 years! I loved reading about your pregnancy news, and I always love to read about the different workouts and foods you are eating. Don’t change a thing!
Keep doing what you’re doing, you always cover all the angles!!
Hi Gina! I think your blog is perfect the way it is…but looking forward to reading blogs about baby fitnessista:) I would lOOOOOve to try your macaroons!!!!! Love the jacket too:)
More things like the summer shape up would be great! And recipes from what you buy at trader joes ๐
Congrats on 3 years! I recently started reading your blog at work after I stumbled upon it on Glamour.com…I literally read through the beginning to present in about 2 weeks! Your views on fitness and healthy lifestyle are inspiring and I get excited for each new post for new workout ideas and health tips!
I’ve been injured from running for about 2 years now…and I’ve been trying out other sports/weight lifting to fill the void. I know you’ve done posts about yoga/stretching…anything on injury prevention and also fitness maintenance would be awesome. Cross training is so important for avid runners or for anyone fully devoted to fitness!
I’m excited to see how you modify the workouts during your pregnancy! (and to see that growing belly!) ๐
liked you on facebook too!

CONGRATS ON THE THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
I’m excited to read about how you stay motivated to eat healthy and exercise as your body changes and you deal with cravings and tiredness from the pregnancy. And I’m gluten free so I always love your gluten free recipe ideas!
Yay for blog birthdays! What a great giveaway:)
I would love to see more of the same…healthy meals and great workouts! Awesome giveaway thanks!
Hey! I can’t wait to read your family posts this coming year as your baby grows. I’m not a mom yet, but I think I might be ready to start trying in a few years, and I’m super interested in the natural birth route you are taking. I hope to learn a lot from your experience. ๐
You belong to my longest blog-writer! ๐ Shortly after discovering the blog world I found your blog and am looking forward in reading your posts day-by-day!
I can’t wait to read all about the little bean and your journey with the little one, your live and love with the pilot and much much more! ๐
Thank you for being so inspiring in times of need and being just the way you are! ๐ Thank you so much!
I would love to see more videos on the blog!!!
What a great giveaway! Happy 3 year anniversary! All the best to you and the Pilot too! So excited to hear the news.
I think it would be nice to see a post or posts on the down side of too much exercise and how it can hamper a woman’s fertility. Many women in their reproductive years may not know that lots of dieting and overexercising can be really detrimental when they want to have a baby.
I want to see baby pics of your little fitnessista/pilot!
I am looking forward to reading about your pregnancy and family posts! Awesome giveaway!
congratulations gina on your blogiversary and with the upcoming arrival of your little fitnessista or fitnessisto/ pilot! Your family posts are so genuine, they truly make me so happy for you, with all of the tribulations you’ve had to go through! i am not a regular commenter, so for that i must apologize, but i do read your great blog each and every day- i wish you only the very best for the healthiest pregnancy! I am very excited to follow along with you as you chronicle your pregnancy, your modified workouts/ eats, as we too are TTC – and hopefully one day soon, i can heed some of your advice:) all the best!!!

I just discovered this blog last week!!! And I am already hooked! I love a good combination of personal tidbits, healthy recipes, and challenging workouts.
But on top of all that, which it looks like you’ve already mastered (!), I love to read about all around healthy tips, things that keep them feeling and looking great, and see input from readers on these issues. Also, guest blogs from people you admire, enjoy, or work with is fun!
I know I’m new so I hope I’m not just repeating what already occurs, but what I’ve seen so far has been fun to read and inspiring! Thanks!
