A very special blogiversary [giveaway]- ended
Hi friends 🙂 How’s your morning going? Hope you’re having a wonderful day. <3
So the blog is 3 years old!!
The blog actually turned 3 last week, but with the Summer Shape Up and exciting news, I didn’t want to overload the week with too much going on.
For this post, I was originally planning on doing a list of events that have happened in the past 3 years, and then I realized:
1. A LOT of stuff has gone down and
2. the events aren’t what matter– it’s about the community, support, discussions and relationships that have been created in this tiny speck on the internet 🙂 You are 99.9% of the reason why this blog is what it is… I just write it, you’re the ones who show up for the party 🙂
This little blog began as an urge to share my love of health and a distraction from online shopping while I was bored in Valdosta – it has grown so much in the past 3 years. It’s changed and evolved with me, and I’ve had so much fun writing every word.
As a little thank you for changing my life, making this so rewarding and enjoyable, and just for being awesome, I thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway. Giving is always better than receiving for special occasions, anyway 🙂 I picked a few of my absolute favorite things and this giveaway is sponsored by myself and the Pilot 😀
To go with the “3 years” theme, there will be 3 different winners:
-1 commenter will receive my favorite lululemon jacket, the Define Jacket in a color/size of their choice ($99)
-1 Facebook fan will receive a pair of Toms shoes (size/color of choice) and a Nars Orgasm blush from Sephora ($100)
(I’m OBSESSED with the new crochet ones!! And everyone needs this blush)
-1 Twitter friend will receive a iTools Style Winder 1” curling iron ($140)
(I still owe ya a video on how to use it, because it’s life-changing)
+ each winner will receive a dozen macaroons in a flavor of their choice 😀
This means you have 3 different ways to win 3 different prizes:
***This giveaway has ended as of 9:35 EST on June 15.
Thank you again for an incredible 3 years 🙂
Love you guys,
Gina

A very happy blogiversary to you!! It’s been almost a year since I started reading and I love how you research/try all different types of exercise and report your findings to us in the blog world. I would love to see continued coverage of new types of exercise along with workouts that you can do at home without much equipment. Also, a yoga video with some of your favorite moves would be great! Congrats on the little bean and I wish you all the best!
Happy Blogaversary!! I would love to see more pictures of Bella!! She is so cute 🙂 and how you are planning for the baby, of course!

In the next year I want to see a happy, healthy, very pregnant Gina and then lots of the new baby! 🙂
I would love to see more workouts!! yay, yours are always so awesome. Also, I think it would be really cool to do a series of “Tucson Living” where you could show certain parts of Tucson that you love and go to most often. I live in Phoenix and I know that most people don’t realize the beauty of Tucson!! Thanks for the awesome giveaway. Keep it up lady =)
Happy Blog Anniversary!
I am excited to hear about your adventure into parent hood this next year. I always enjoy the recipes and fitness ideas and I would love to find out more about the different styles of exercise that you have tried and/or taught.
Next year I want to see the new baby!!
Happy Blogiversary!!! Amazing giveaway!! I want to see more belly shots, I have baby fever. Other than that, recipes; your recipes are thee best!
Congrats on 3 years!! Looking forward to another year! I would love to read about the workouts you are doing during your pregnancy. We are trying to get pregnant and once that happens it would be nice to have a reference to what’s safe during workouts and what not to do.

Since you will have your little baby next year I’d love to see pics of your life as mommy and videos would be sweet!!

happy anni fitnessista! I’ve been following for about a year and a half and have loved to read about your life and journey. I too am a military wife and new mommy. Baby & Home posts!! Love it! Congrats!
I love your blog but I particularly like your posts about the Pilot and your marriage. I’d really love to see more information about having a successful marriage and working out with your partner. I’m getting married on Saturday (!) and I’d love to start working out with my new husband, but I’m not sure where to start. We try to go to the gym or run together but it’s hard to come up with workouts that work for two.
Happy Blogiversary 🙂
I would love to see more recipes using fruit/veggies because I am bad about getting enough servings in my diet! Also, since I’m in college it would be cool to see food recipes for a budget, or a limited number of ingredients. 🙂
Congrats on your soon-to-be new addition!!
I’d love to see more gluten-free recipes, and how your workouts adapt through your pregnancy!
Holy cow you have a lot of comments. Whoever wins this it will be like winning the lottery. I would like to see you possibly have a blog bake sale one day. Your blog is super popular and I know it would do well.
Hi Gina!!
This blog makes me smile. I’m not much of a blogger guru but ever since I became pregnant (I’m 20 weeks) I’ve spent hours researching, and reading other mom’s blogs on fitness, nutrition, etc.
As my husband and I start our family, I often feel overwhelmed with figuring out how to eat real, whole, nutrient dense foods, while being conscience of our growing expenses. I’m curious to see how you guys would approach that with your growing family?
Also….please oh please, hook up some of us pregnant ladies with some fitness tips. It feels like a bit of a struggle to balance knowing what is ok for the baby and at the same time keeping in shape.
Keep it up squirrel, your blog is changing lives:D
Happy Bloggy Birthday! Honestly, I am finding myself checking your blog 3x as much now that you are talking about your pregnancy..so I’d love to see as many posts as possible about that. It makes me giddy for some reason!!
happy 3 years!! i am loving the family section 🙂
I love this website – Happy Birthday! I would like to see is how you can change little things or add mini workouts to your day. I am a nurse (noted as one of the fattest professions) and work 12 hour shifts. I would love to be able to continue in my path of improving my health but I just cant figure out how to add workouts into those days as well as different portable snackies so I dont have to have a cup of coffee to sustain my energy.
Fingers crossed that I win the macaroons. Thanks! Amy
To be honest, I wouldn’t change a thing about your blog. Keep it exactly the way it is! Love love love reading the family section to hear about your pregnancy! Love the fashion tab because we have the same style!
I’d like to see your experiences of getting back into shape after you welcome your little one.
Great giveaway!!! Happy 3rd! Even though I am way past the pregnancy stage in my life…45, I still find it interesting and am excited for you!
Happy blogiversary!!! 🙂 I LOVE reading your blog, and LOVE reading your pregnancy updates! Congratulations to you & the Pilot!!!
wow i have been coveting that jacket like crazy lately. i have MAJOR baby fever right now so i would LOVE to see anything pregnancy and baby related, especially if it ties into fitness/nutrition. i am looking forward to your thoughts on how your body/fitness has changed during pregnancy, as well as you labor and breastfeeding experiences one the bebe gets here. and of course, post baby fitness and shenanigans 😉
Your blogiversary is the same day as mine!! But I don’t count it because I took a veryyyy large vacation from blogging after the summer was over!
I’d like to see the baby posts…though I’m only in college I love reading about these things
I’d love to see more “seasonal shape ups”. I’m very excited to see pictures of the baby. I’m also anxious to hear about fitting in exercise and work outs once you have the baby. I am a new mom of a 6 month old baby and I’d love to read how you manage it all with work, baby, fitness, etc. That’s the world I am currently living in.
Congrats on the blogiversary!! Love your blog <3
I want to see a tour of your new place!!
I would like to see lots of info on how your workouts and diet change before and after having the baby! videos are always fun too 🙂

Congratulations on 3 amazing years! In the next year, I definitely want to see posts about your pre and post natal workouts and health in general. My husband and I would definitely love to start a family sooner rather than later and I am so excited that I can look to you for advice on how to maintain your fitnessista status as a mommy:) Congrats again on the blog anniversary and the new addition!!!
