A very special blogiversary [giveaway]- ended
Hi friends ๐ Howโs your morning going? Hope youโre having a wonderful day. <3
So the blog is 3 years old!!
The blog actually turned 3 last week, but with the Summer Shape Up and exciting news, I didnโt want to overload the week with too much going on.
For this post, I was originally planning on doing a list of events that have happened in the past 3 years, and then I realized:
1. A LOT of stuff has gone down and
2. the events arenโt what matter– itโs about the community, support, discussions and relationships that have been created in this tiny speck on the internet ๐ You are 99.9% of the reason why this blog is what it isโฆ I just write it, youโre the ones who show up for the party ๐
This little blog began as an urge to share my love of health and a distraction from online shopping while I was bored in Valdosta – it has grown so much in the past 3 years. Itโs changed and evolved with me, and Iโve had so much fun writing every word.
As a little thank you for changing my life, making this so rewarding and enjoyable, and just for being awesome, I thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway. Giving is always better than receiving for special occasions, anyway ๐ I picked a few of my absolute favorite things and this giveaway is sponsored by myself and the Pilot ๐
To go with the โ3 yearsโ theme, there will be 3 different winners:
-1 commenter will receive my favorite lululemon jacket, the Define Jacket in a color/size of their choice ($99)
-1 Facebook fan will receive a pair of Toms shoes (size/color of choice) and a Nars Orgasm blush from Sephora ($100)
(Iโm OBSESSED with the new crochet ones!! And everyone needs this blush)
-1 Twitter friend will receive a iTools Style Winder 1โ curling iron ($140)
(I still owe ya a video on how to use it, because itโs life-changing)
+ each winner will receive a dozen macaroons in a flavor of their choice ๐
This means you have 3 different ways to win 3 different prizes:
***This giveaway has ended as of 9:35 EST on June 15.
Thank you again for an incredible 3 years ๐
Love you guys,
Gina
I’d love to see more of your workouts. They’re great when I don’t feel like going out for a run or paying for a class, and they’re pretty challenging!
I like you and answered your Facebook question. I love cardio ๐
Can’t wait to keep reading about your journey, but how you adapt fitness and nutrition pre- and post-baby.

happy blogiversary!!
your blog was the very first one I found, and I have now gotten hooked on the blog world and all the amazing people and info out there, so thanks ๐
I am interested to see how your fitness/eats routine changes with your new baby-dominated time schedule – it will be great to get tips about how you balance your life with the new addition ๐ Keep up the work outs and recipes – they are so easy to follow and SO effective! Mostly, I know that whatever the next year brings you will meet it and share it with honesty and humor, which is what keeps us coming back – in short, YOU!
I love your workouts! So that’s what I’d like to see more of. I think that lately you’ve really found your voice as a writer and it shines through on the blog. ๐ thanks for all you do.
I’d love to see you continue to cover fitness, food, and fashion. In the next year, I’d love to see how you balance all of it with your new little addition!
I love everything about your blog – I’m hoping to start one soon and you’ve definitely been one of my inspirations! In the next year, I’d love to see more about the baby (duh!!) and, to be honest, I like what you’re doing so far! I’m on a “weight-loss” journey myself and I love reading your blog for tips and tools to help me achieve my goals. Also, I love the cool define jacket and it would be a great addition to my *lacking* workout gear! ๐
I love you, Gina! I’ve been reading since the beginning and am so glad you needed that initial distraction from online shopping. ๐
I am looking forward to more family posts because they show a new side of you that I’m really enjoying. I also can’t wait to read about your experiences as you get settled in your new home with the pilot! You have a lot going on in your life and I’d love to learn more about how you prioritize everything and manage to get your workouts in.
Happy Bday, Fitnessista!! I’d love to see more of your awesome breakfast recipes in the next year…they are my fave!
More budgetary friendly fashions or more thrifting posts.
I tweeted too ๐
I am excited to hear about how you will change your workout routine/eating habits while being pregnant. One thing that I’m always curious about is how long you can workout while pregnant and what things you can and can’t do.
i’d love to keep seeing the shape up plans!! and recipes!
oh my gosh, these are fabulous prizes! I’m OBSESSED with those crochet TOMs!
1) I’d like to see more workouts for the often neglected muscle groups – calves, abductors/adductors and more ab/core strengthening routines.
2) I liked you on Facebook. Can’t believe I hadn’t before!
3) I’m about to tweet!
(PS – I love the font on your blog!)
Happy birthday, Fitnessista blog!!
I’m going to college in the fall, and I’ll have access to a FULL gym for the first time in like two years! I’d love to see strength training regimens, mostly because I only know cardio, yoga, and some body weight training (:
I’m about to tweet it, too!
Happy bloggy birthday!! Three years is AMAZING!
One thing about your blog that I love is that you’re so SO passionate about fitness, and you explore so many different styles of fitness and write about them. If it weren’t for you I would have NEVER tried Zumba (and I’m obsessed now)! I guess I’m saying, I love your personal take on different fitness styles and I’ve really been enjoying the ‘spotlight on’ series that you’ve been doing … inspiring me to try other things.
I just want to see more amazing Gina-ness in the next year!!
As a mom trying to balance children, healthy living and exercise I would love to hear about how you balance all that with your pregnancy! Also, I would love your macaroon recipe-I know you hear that all the time!
I love your recipes and workout tips – and I always love the pics of Bella and V!
I’m sure that there will be posts along these lines as is, with or without my request, but I would love to see posts about managing work, fitness, health, relationships and HAVING A BABY. Also, I hope you’ll do some posts about what you feed your baby when he or she starts eating real food! Happy 3-year Fitnessista!
And I’m heading over to your Facebook page right now!
Just tweeted (@runnerscookie)!
More recipes please!
