A very special blogiversary [giveaway]- ended
Hi friends ๐ Howโs your morning going? Hope youโre having a wonderful day. <3
So the blog is 3 years old!!
The blog actually turned 3 last week, but with the Summer Shape Up and exciting news, I didnโt want to overload the week with too much going on.
For this post, I was originally planning on doing a list of events that have happened in the past 3 years, and then I realized:
1. A LOT of stuff has gone down and
2. the events arenโt what matter– itโs about the community, support, discussions and relationships that have been created in this tiny speck on the internet ๐ You are 99.9% of the reason why this blog is what it isโฆ I just write it, youโre the ones who show up for the party ๐
This little blog began as an urge to share my love of health and a distraction from online shopping while I was bored in Valdosta – it has grown so much in the past 3 years. Itโs changed and evolved with me, and Iโve had so much fun writing every word.
As a little thank you for changing my life, making this so rewarding and enjoyable, and just for being awesome, I thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway. Giving is always better than receiving for special occasions, anyway ๐ I picked a few of my absolute favorite things and this giveaway is sponsored by myself and the Pilot ๐
To go with the โ3 yearsโ theme, there will be 3 different winners:
-1 commenter will receive my favorite lululemon jacket, the Define Jacket in a color/size of their choice ($99)
-1 Facebook fan will receive a pair of Toms shoes (size/color of choice) and a Nars Orgasm blush from Sephora ($100)
(Iโm OBSESSED with the new crochet ones!! And everyone needs this blush)
-1 Twitter friend will receive a iTools Style Winder 1โ curling iron ($140)
(I still owe ya a video on how to use it, because itโs life-changing)
+ each winner will receive a dozen macaroons in a flavor of their choice ๐
This means you have 3 different ways to win 3 different prizes:
***This giveaway has ended as of 9:35 EST on June 15.
Thank you again for an incredible 3 years ๐
Love you guys,
Gina
i’d like to see more familyssista posts in the future!
Happy Blogiversary!! I’d love to see more recipes and playlists!! Congratulations!
I love your fashion posts! And also I can’t wait to see pics of the new little guy/gal! ๐
Love your blog and I love lululemon!
I would love to see even more health-conscious recipes! I’m a huge foodie, but I like to make things with nutrition in mind, which is why I initially loved your blog. Amazeballs and bfast cookie dough cereal have become staples here, so I’d like to continue that trend!
I’d love to see more healthy, quick recipes. Thank you!!
I’d love to see recipes for make-ahead meals and fitness routines for those short on time/equipment! What great giveaways!
I’m super excited for more family posts in addition to the regular nutrition/fitness/fashion posts.
I would love to see some more healthy recipes. ๐
I’m LOVING your new family section and cannot wait for the updates as you progress through your pregnancy — and to meet the new little one! Plus, summer shape up has been great so far!
I’m super excited for more family posts in addition to the regular nutrition/fitness/fashion ones.
Wow, so many comments! Congrats on three years! I want to see all things baby and pregnancy! It’s nice to know what to do when things go out of whack! Even if it IS how God intended!
Um…I commented twice (this being the third time…) and I don’t know how to delete. I’m not a cheater, I swear.
Happy Blogiversary! I absolutely just love following your life. I love all of the baby news.
Congrats on 3 years, thats awesome!!!
I would LOVE to see more baby posts and of course the ever adorable pup
Plus any dehydrator recipe is a welcome treat ๐
I am super excited to follow your pregnancy!! And I love that you’re still keeping up all those food posts despite the pregnancy gaggers ๐ (I can only try to imagine how that feels but I am excited to be experiencing this hopefully not too far away in the future)
As I always need help doing some new workouts in my living room (too long working hours for a gym during the week), with just a mat and some weights – so some quick workouts for people with crazy working hours and minimal equipment would be great!
Happy blogiversary, Gina!!!
I would love to see how you maintain your fitness routine while pregnant! I don’t plan on having kids for a while but when that happens, my husband has this old fashioned idea that you have to stop exercising and that running is ‘bad for the baby’. Hopefully you can help me prove him wrong! ๐
I would love to see more about nutrition and your growing family… you guys are so cute!!!
I would love to see more on nutrition and how how to become a certified trainer or the process of obtaining your certifications ๐ Thank you for all your knowledge and sharing!
I am so excited to see more about how you will balance your busy life (as a mom and blogger) and continuing to be healthy and fit. ๐
I’d love to see more workout playlists! they are so motivating!
I’d love to see reading recommendations! I’ve only read a couple fitness/nutrition books, and I have absolutely no real background in either. I trust your judgement, and need some good beach reading (after I’ve created that beach body, of course)!
Quick interval/circuit training workouts for those who don’t have much time to workout. Also would love to see some quick, easy healthy recipes for individuals on the run. ๐ Can you tell there’s a common theme here? LOL…feeling short on time since I had my baby. ๐ Thanks Gina!
I’d love to see more information on how to stay fit while being pregnant and a follow up of getting back in shape after baby! I’ve enjoyed reading all of the family posts as well so keep those coming!
Over the next year, Iโd actually like to see what you end up feeding the baby! With such great health and fitness in mind, how do you think that will affect your mothering?
(P.S. i accidentally left this comment on the post below!)
also, i already liked you on facebook! happy blogiversary!
I love your blog! I have just started reading it and think you are just a fantastic inspiration and feel honoured you are also going to share your pregnancy jounrey with us! Maybe more workout ideas? The summer shape up workouts are fantastic. Really your blog is super fantastic as is ๐
Your blog was the first one i had ever read and now i’m hooked to many different ones. LOVE the breakfast cookie still haha
congrats on everything ๐
I would love to see advice on how to balance an active lifestyle with (a growing!) family. I’m a mother of a 2-year old, a wife & trying to get back into the serious running game.
I am excited to see your pregnancy and baby updates! I am also loving the summer shape-up. I’d love to see more of the fashion posts, with ideas about how you’re staying Fitnessista-fashionable while pregnant. ๐
Hi Gina ! I would like to see more programs like the Summer Shape Up, per example, something like express and intense short term programs to kick up a notch our current fitness programs, for faster results ๐
Oh and I would love you to continue to give us news about your family life, work, eats. exercise, etc. I absolutely love to read your blog everyday !
In the next year, I can’t wait to read about the new baby!
I’m excited to read about how you exercise through pregnancy and general healthy tips.
I also tweeted @ejriche
Congratulations on 3 years!! I would love to see more healthy, easy receipes! Also, I love the shape-up programs. Your blog is the first place I go when I need new workout ideas ๐
I’m actually very excited to see how you adapt your fitness routine as you continue through your pregnancy. I’m also looking forward to seeing more in the “Family” area and the updates when your little fitnessista or pilot arrives. Congrats on 3 years!!!
i love the fashion posts and can’t wait to read more about the baby!
You’re blog has been SO inspiring and can’t wait to read for years to come! I can’t wait to read more about the pregnancy and post – pregnancy workouts + eating!
I already like you on Facebook + follow you on twitter (duh!)!!
Look at all these comments! You sure are loved ๐ I would like to see you continue with the “Shape Up” plans. I love having an alternative eating and workout plan to combine with my own!
Happy Blog Birthday! I want to see more fashion and yoga in the next year. I am also excited to read about your pregnancy journey. I know there are a lot of pregnant healthy living bloggers but it is interesting to read about each of your unique experiences especially since I am still unsure if a baby is something I want for myself.
I love the blog as it is right now, and surprisingly I am enjoying the baby posts too! (never thought I would say that, I never read baby blogs but yours is different somehow…).
I also would like to see more dehydrator recipes, playlists, and fashion advice too.
Congrats!
I love it when you post workouts. I’m always looking for ways to shake things up.
I can’t believe it’s been three years, friend! I’m so glad to know you. May this year be your best yet! Lots of love ๐
In the next year I would like to continue reading about workouts, food, fashion, and BABY!!! I would love to read about your pregnancy and birth experience. I am happy for you for the many blessings you have had in the past 3 years!
Congrats! I’d love to see more about your pregnancy and how you plan to stay healthy and active.
Hi Gina!
Love your blog! I have made more recipes from your blog than any other one that I read!!
As for what I would like to see in the upcoming year…just a lot more of what you already do – fitness and recipes … namely healthy protein-type eats masked as desserts ๐
Thanks for the blog and congrats on three years and your baby-to-come! <3
I luv ur blog and everything about it! I am excited to see how you work out while pregnant! Keep up the awesome blog – ur a great inspiration !
I can’t imagine anything changing! I always look forward to new Fitnessista posts. I guess the only thing I’d look forward to is baby posts!
I’d love to see more of the same in the year too come. You give a nice mix of life! I especially like that you sometimes post multiple times a day. I often need that extra boost to get me through the 2nd have of a day! Happy Anniversary!
More of the usual: food, fitness, sass, and family posts! I love your blog. Happy Blogiversary!
