A very special blogiversary [giveaway]- ended
Hi friends 🙂 How’s your morning going? Hope you’re having a wonderful day. <3
So the blog is 3 years old!!
The blog actually turned 3 last week, but with the Summer Shape Up and exciting news, I didn’t want to overload the week with too much going on.
For this post, I was originally planning on doing a list of events that have happened in the past 3 years, and then I realized:
1. A LOT of stuff has gone down and
2. the events aren’t what matter– it’s about the community, support, discussions and relationships that have been created in this tiny speck on the internet 🙂 You are 99.9% of the reason why this blog is what it is… I just write it, you’re the ones who show up for the party 🙂
This little blog began as an urge to share my love of health and a distraction from online shopping while I was bored in Valdosta – it has grown so much in the past 3 years. It’s changed and evolved with me, and I’ve had so much fun writing every word.
As a little thank you for changing my life, making this so rewarding and enjoyable, and just for being awesome, I thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway. Giving is always better than receiving for special occasions, anyway 🙂 I picked a few of my absolute favorite things and this giveaway is sponsored by myself and the Pilot 😀
To go with the “3 years” theme, there will be 3 different winners:
-1 commenter will receive my favorite lululemon jacket, the Define Jacket in a color/size of their choice ($99)
-1 Facebook fan will receive a pair of Toms shoes (size/color of choice) and a Nars Orgasm blush from Sephora ($100)
(I’m OBSESSED with the new crochet ones!! And everyone needs this blush)
-1 Twitter friend will receive a iTools Style Winder 1” curling iron ($140)
(I still owe ya a video on how to use it, because it’s life-changing)
+ each winner will receive a dozen macaroons in a flavor of their choice 😀
This means you have 3 different ways to win 3 different prizes:
***This giveaway has ended as of 9:35 EST on June 15.
Thank you again for an incredible 3 years 🙂
Love you guys,
Gina
So many milestones all at once! How exciting. Over the next year I’m really looking forward to reading more about your expanding family. I also really like your workout playlists because they help keep me motivated in the gym!
Happy birthday! I love to see the meal plans and grocery lists ala Summer and Winter Shape Up.
I love your blog! Such great recipes and so inspirational! Keep it coming and congrats on all the hard work and 3 years of dedication! Love the Lulu lemon jacket too! Super cute!
I would love to see more Fitnessista and Family posts! I would also like more unique meal ideas!
I’m definitely looking forward to a pregnant fitnessista. Will you stay super active and eating right? or will you end up like me on the couch with a bowl of ice cream 😉 Looking forward to it! (PS I’d be totally down with the fit you or the couch potato you 😉
I want to see photos of a mini pilot/mini fitnessista. Lots of them!! 🙂
I love your workouts and healthy meal ideas!! I just started getting into the “blog” world, but yours is by far my favorite! It makes it much easier to eat healthy and exercize when I get to come to your blog and get inspired!! i look forward to many more awesome posts!
happy Blogiversary!
Happy Birthday fitnessista! Congratulations on the little one on the way 🙂
Congratulations on 3 years! In the next year, I would like to see your maternity fashion posts and how to get your pre-baby body back! I am loving your family posts as well!
Wow, I feel like it was just your 2nd blogiversary! Congrats! I love seeing your eats but would love to see details of your workouts. I feel like you have such a varied fitness life and it’d be interesting to see a week-by-week recap or more details on what you do each day.
Happy Birthday, little blog! I just want to see more of the same – I love coming to visit you here and you have changed my breakfast forever with the Breakfast Cookie! I really enjoy your workouts though so maybe more of those? Good luck with the next year!
So exciting! I started my own little blog in the winter because I loved reading your so much…I’ve been a reader since last summer! I would like to see more body area specific workouts–like arms/back/legs/abs…a couple different moves to incorporate into a workout. I”m always looking for more things to change it up but can never think of something when I’m at the gym.
Definitely more Family posts! They are so fun to read!
looking forward to seeing your family grow! congrats!!
I love everything you post now. More recipes would be great this next year.
I like your comparison reviews. The protein powder and gym shoes come to mind. You are a great blogger with a variety of topics, and I love coming to your party!
Three years! Amazing! Well, obviously I am super excited for lots more baby posts and a BABY in the next year! But I also can’t wait to see more videos of you and pilots, more fun work-outs and new recipe ideas. So pretty much what you’ve already been doing – I love this blog just how it is! xoxo
Yay! Three Years!! Congrats!
I would love to see more recipes! I love seeing “indulgent” food re-made in a more healthy way. And of course I’m looking forward to the arrival of the addition to your family. 🙂
Happy blogiversary!! I am super excited for the pregnancy/baby posts and really hope you do a post-baby workout plan! Love your blog!
I love everything about your blog, I wouldn’t change a thing! hmm maybe workout tips? but it’s all great the way it is!
I know you said you don’t want your blog to turn into a pregnancy blog but I am hoping you chronicle your journey here in the future!!
Happy blogiversary! I would love to see more stuff about your house-buying process- not trying to be nosy! But I’m looking into home-buying myself and it’s so intimidating, I’m always looking for tips/advice. Congrats on your baby, by the way! You and the Pilot are going to have one beautiful child, that’s for sure. 🙂
I would love to see the BABY in the next year on the blog! 🙂
Congratulations on 3 years 🙂
In the next year(s), I would love to see how you incorporate your fitness routine into your pregnancy and post-baby life!
I have been following your blog daily for the past 8 months or so! I find it very inspirational and motivating. I am looking forward to more workouts and following your adventures in pregnancy 🙂 ! Thank you for sharing your life with the world! Happy blogiversary! 😉
I would love to see how you progress through your healthy pregancy as an athlete. So many pregnancy workouts seem like they are for newbies, and I really want to maintain a high level of fitness throughout my own pregnancy. I am loving the summer shape up, and would try any other workout plans you put out there!
I’ve been wanting a Define jacket forrrr eeeev errrrr!! what an amazing giveaway! love love love your blog
Congratulations. I look forward to hearing more about how you manage your health and body image through pregnancy and postpartum. I am sure you will be a great role model.
Hi! I actually just started reading your blog like…a week ago, lol. So it’d be hard for me to recommend what I’d like to see more of, but you’re doing great so far. Although if I had to pick, more creative and unique recipes are always good!
I would love to see lots of pictures and menus from when you entertain in your new home! (And lots of baby pictures. :))
I also love the readers requests featuring different types of classes/workout methods! I find those really interesting and helpful!
***IN THE NEXT YEAR: I would like to see more baby bump and then BABY pictures on the blog!! :-D***
I agree with what a few others have said – more body specific workouts. OH, and more clothing!
Wow, this is one spectacular giveaway!
I have to say, that I really like the blog the way it is – and I love the fact that you keep your pregnancy posts on a whole separate page. That actually makes me want to read them. I read a few blogs now where they have gone from “healthy living” to all a full out pregnancy blog. I understand that it’s their blog, etc. and I am not saying this in a mean way, but some people aren’t interested in that.
Because you haven’t forced every detail on me, I’m way more interested in your story than others and couldn’t be more happy for you and The Pilot!
I love your meal ideas. I’d love to see more of those, especially how you change them as your family expands!
Love your blog! Excited to see your journey to being a new mom and also any new GF recipes you may come up with 🙂
I would like to see more workout reviews and more fabulous recipes! Yours are always so creative and simple. Congrats on three years!
I think it would be great to see how to adapt exercises for pregnancy and how to stay safe while exercising! I’d also love a post on prenatal yoga!
I would love to keep seeing the same types of posts you are all ready doing plus I can’t wait to see more and more family posts especially once you have the little peanut! Thanks so much!!!
I love reading your workouts and pregnancy updates!
Keep the recipes and baby stuff coming! 🙂
For the next year, I would like to see:
I love it when you do your summer shape up etc but I do not always know how to do all of the moves and it takes alot of time to go into each link. It would be great if you had another tab or something with a picture of the moves that could be easily printed to take to the gym. It’s hard for me to remember all of the new moves etc…
Thanks so much Gina! Peace and Luv for for many blog years to come. Mel
more music recommendations! i always like what you recommend and new music is an easy way to make a workout more interesting.
I would love to see more family posts! And Fitnessista recipes. Happy blogiversary!
As a newbie to the blog world, to eating real, unprocessed foods, and to weightlifting, your blog has been more than helpful! I read it from home and I also pull up your Summer Shape Up workouts on my phone at the gym. And then I write them down so I don’t look like THAT girl on the phone at the gym 😉
I would love to see something like product reviews. Could be clothes, protein powders, blenders, etc… Maybe you could even call it “Favorites” to go with your ‘f’ theme!
I’d love to see a tutorial on the iTools Curling Iron! 🙂 And how about packing healthy food on the go? You do a lot of posts like this, but i LOVE them! thanks for hosting such a great giveaway and congrats on 3 years! 🙂 I liked you on Facebook, tweeted and Follow you on Twitter! Here’s the link to my tweet: http://twitter.com/#!/cmc4388/status/80642162932461568
i know that there are other bloggers out there currently pregnant and documenting their eating habits, etc. i think i would like to see how you continue your fitness (which is also your career) as you get further into your pregnancy. My husband and i are hoping to start trying at the end of the year so i’m interested in what other people are able to still accomplish while pregnant (and after baby).
I tweeted!!
Hi Gina,
Thank you so much for sharing your life and wisdom with us! I Love reading your posts every morning and in the coming year I would love to see even more recipes, preferably ones with only a few ingredients!
Thanks!!!
I just recently stumbled across your blog and have since followed it daily. I personally find your comments, stories, workouts, and recipes inspiring, funny, and tasty!! I love food and fitness but struggle to find the balance! So…topics I look forward to seeing on this blog in the upcoming year are:
Balancing food and fitness (and how you are managing this through your pregnancy)
More workouts and great recipes
Family
I love your workouts and all around life posts! I AM excited for some pregnancy posts also-cause I’m scared as hell about being pregnant and I need to read about a real women going through it!
