A very special blogiversary [giveaway]- ended
Hi friends 🙂 How’s your morning going? Hope you’re having a wonderful day. <3
So the blog is 3 years old!!
The blog actually turned 3 last week, but with the Summer Shape Up and exciting news, I didn’t want to overload the week with too much going on.
For this post, I was originally planning on doing a list of events that have happened in the past 3 years, and then I realized:
1. A LOT of stuff has gone down and
2. the events aren’t what matter– it’s about the community, support, discussions and relationships that have been created in this tiny speck on the internet 🙂 You are 99.9% of the reason why this blog is what it is… I just write it, you’re the ones who show up for the party 🙂
This little blog began as an urge to share my love of health and a distraction from online shopping while I was bored in Valdosta – it has grown so much in the past 3 years. It’s changed and evolved with me, and I’ve had so much fun writing every word.
As a little thank you for changing my life, making this so rewarding and enjoyable, and just for being awesome, I thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway. Giving is always better than receiving for special occasions, anyway 🙂 I picked a few of my absolute favorite things and this giveaway is sponsored by myself and the Pilot 😀
To go with the “3 years” theme, there will be 3 different winners:
-1 commenter will receive my favorite lululemon jacket, the Define Jacket in a color/size of their choice ($99)
-1 Facebook fan will receive a pair of Toms shoes (size/color of choice) and a Nars Orgasm blush from Sephora ($100)
(I’m OBSESSED with the new crochet ones!! And everyone needs this blush)
-1 Twitter friend will receive a iTools Style Winder 1” curling iron ($140)
(I still owe ya a video on how to use it, because it’s life-changing)
+ each winner will receive a dozen macaroons in a flavor of their choice 😀
This means you have 3 different ways to win 3 different prizes:
***This giveaway has ended as of 9:35 EST on June 15.
Thank you again for an incredible 3 years 🙂
Love you guys,
Gina
I’d love to see your house evolve as you move in and decorate!
Happy Blogiversary! I’d love to see more fashion posts.
Happy Blogiversary! In the next year, I am excited to see more BABY posts! I love what you’ve been writing so far and I am so excited to share the journey of your pregnancy with you. Congratulations, Gina! 🙂
I love the Fitnessista Blog! I read it everyday! I would like to see some more soy butter and almond butter recipes 🙂 I love nut butter!
I also look forward to seeing pictures of the baby!
I’d love to see more at home workout options with minimal equipment! And definitely baby updates!!
Happy, happy blogiversary to you!! (This is an incredible giveaway!)
Like many other readers, I am excited to see lots of pregnancy & family related things in the coming year 🙂 Also, I loved what Michelle said about seeing pictures and menus from when you entertain in your new home– you’ve hosted some epic dinner parties in the past 😉
I am so happy that I found your blog (back in the day 🙂 YOU are fantastic!
Gina, I started reading your blog in Fall of 2008. I loved it then, and I love it now! You have such a gift for inspiring others to be their best. I love seeing and hearing about the weekend trips that you take. It gives me a mini-vacay to see all the photos and fun times 🙂 Please take as many trips as you can this year, because it might be more difficult once the baby’s here.
Take care, Kilee
I also am excited for more baby posts/pics when the little one arrives!
Happy blogiversary! what an accomplishment! wow 3 years!
I would love to see more family/everyday life posts, you just being you!
I tweeted 🙂
I can wait to see your journey into parenthood. Im new to following blogs, but ive loved yours in the past few months. It seems like so many of my friends and family are pregnant or just had kids, so im in this weird ‘baby rabies’ mode even though im not ready for one myself.
I would like to see more of the same. It’s why I keep coming back!
Also, can’t wait to keep up with your baby journey. That is a MUST have as far as I’m concerned!
I’d love some casserole/make ahead and freeze type recipes as well! 🙂
I want to see posts about the baby! Happy blogiversary 🙂
I lurrrve your family posts (making my clock tick, hopign to start one sooon) and the work out posts are SUPER motivating:)
Congrats on the anniversary! Love reading the blog every day. I can’t wait to meet the littlest Fitnessista and hear more about your healthy living journey while pregnant.
I absolutely cannot wait to see your little bundle of joy pop up here in the next year! I couldn’t ask for anything else from reading your blog, I absolutely love it, though I have never commented. You give me inspiration and motivation to be healthier, and be a better me. As long as that keeps going, then I think you are golden! I am super excited to see what the next year brings for Fitnessista…and pilot…and baby!
Best, Kate
(PS…Lulu is the best, live in their clothes – who the heck wouldn’t want another jacket?!)
I think you should continue doing what you are doing! I would love to see more of what you eat during the day 🙂
Hey! Great giveaway! 😉
I’m definitely interested to see how you will continue to stay active while pregnant. I haven’t yet been pregnant but many of my friends have recently had babies and have told me on countless occasions that it “wouldn’t be healthy” to be so active if I were pregnant (I’m training for marathon #3 and I am a gym-junkie). So I’d like to see some safe ways to stay active when you’re expecting! 🙂
First off, I check your blog as part of my twice daily routine. Once in the morning, and once again in the evening. I’m always looking forward to your stories, advice and most importantly look to you for inspiration.
On fitness…I would love to see more ideas on workouts. I love summer shape up!!! I love reading your take on different workouts, always very insightful. (How about spinning, TRX, hot yoga, etc?)
On food…Can I say book?
Feature post…Cellulite and ways to target it, be it through diet or workouts.
Family…I am very excited that you are blogging about this, and cannot wait to read about you and the pilot’s journey together. I’m from Canada and I have not heard too much from people I know having midwives, I’m very interested.
Keep up the great work!
I don’t have facebook or twitter, but if I did I would like you and tweet you!!!
(accidentally hit enter on an empty comment)
Happy anniversary! Really love your blog. Looking forward to family posts and meal and fitness changes associated with your pregnancy and then your baby.
I’d love to see more pregnancy updates (and of course baby updates) in the next year – along with more of what you’re already doing. 🙂
I would love to see more recipes! Keep them coming!! I’m looking forward to the baby posts too! 🙂
Hi! I want to see your healthy and happy baby! 🙂 Everything else will keep coming on this blog, I’m sure, but I just love babies! They’re the best!
I’d like to see even more delicious recipes and more about pregnancy as your family gets another member :o)
I would love to see how you incorporate your busy life/workout sched with the new baby!! Can’t wait to *meet* the little fitnessista.
Followed you on twitter and tweeted about your fabulous giveaway!
I am already a fan on facebook and I tweeted!
And I tweeted (https://twitter.com/#!/carlyrachael/status/80643492744921088)
I would love to see some boot camp style workouts – looove those!
And how you go about getting back into shape post-baby (pilot or fitnessista) – i think a lot women are afraid to be in shape and be strong and it’s nice to see people out there who aren’t and putting that message out there!
I’d like to see you through your pregnancy journey so that I can replicate it EXACTLY in about three years when I’m ready for mine! 🙂
I’m excited to see a healthy baby. It will be so fun watching your family grow–I can tell you will be an incredible mother (and the pilot an equally incredible father)!
Woo – exciting times!
I don’t know if there’d be some copyright thing or if the coordination of it all would be crazy – but what if you did like a live telecast of a “dance class” and we can all shake our booties together! I bet you’re fab at what you do!
Happy Birthday (blog)!
Love, love, love your blog! It’s been so inspiring to me. Thanks for sharing so many recipes and workout tips.
I’d like to see more recipe and workout posts, and keep the family posts comin’ because I love those! Congrats on the 3 years, you’re literally the reason I started my own blog, so thank you!
We love you too Gina! Your blog is an inspiration and I look forward to following along for years to come.
Happy Blogiversary! Thank you so much for the gift of your blog, it’s a huge inspiration for me to stay motivated in living a healthier lifestyle. The b/f and I are no where near the baby thing yet, but I love reading about your journey so far and look forward to following your experience over the next year! I’m sure it’ll come in handy in the future!
I love love love the family posts!! It’s so excited to be able to follow this special journey with you. So I’d like to keep seeing those, and other than that more of the same (work outs, eats, general health stuff) – it’s why I love your blog!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog!! I would love to see more solo spin sesh’s!! LOVE thoes. Can’t wait to see what the next year will bring for you! 🙂
Congratulations on the anniversary! I LOVE this blog, and I think you should just keep up what you’re doing with it. It’s great as it is! Thanks for all of the awesome/inspiring/informative/extremely-helpful posts.
Hello!
I’d love to see more outfit posts – because I love the clothes you post. I also really like your workout posts, but perhaps more info/workouts for different locations – e.g pool, outdoors etc.
Thanks!
I know it will be difficult with the pregnancy and all, but I love when you make dinner and have both a veggie option and a Pilot option!
Definitely love your family posts, making good choices eating-out, and work out tips!
More! Love this blog and am dying to try those ‘roons.
Happy Blogiversary!!! I would love to see more recpies, I have learned from you that veggitarian (spelled wrong on purpose) doesn’t mean yuckotarian. 🙂 I would also love to see more on how you balance making two seperate meals with the Pilot. My bf is a pickier eater but I love trying your recipes. All in all though, keep up the fantastic work!
Congrats on 3 amazing years! I love seeing all the posts about balance and maintaining it all through change, travel, and now new family.
I love all these goodies! Hope I am lucky!
Hi Gina! <3 (I just love your little heart!)
Anyway, just wanted to say I LOVE the blog just the way it is! And actually I am looking foward to watching you as you go through this next adventure in your life, your new baby. Even if you didn't add a thing, I would still be an avid reader, (my feeds are set to update every 30 minutes, so I am always checking for new ones) Which by the way, YOU ARE THE BEST at keeping your blog updated and writing so many, wow! So, if you do change anything, I always like all the recipes I can get and comparisons and reviews of things, fitness equipment/ cookbooks/ etc. Thanks so much, I have truly enjoyed the ride! CONGRATULATIONS!
YAY- happy blogiversary! I know this probably doesn’t apply to a lot of people, but as the girlfriend of someone deploying to the desert soon, I would love to see more about your life as a military spouse… And of course your fabulous dessert recipes and strengthening workouts are never a bad thing!
-Joelle (On A Pink Typewriter)
I can’t wait to follow you on your pregnant journey and to meet the newest member of the bloggy family! Also more of the same because that’s what I keep coming back to your blog for 🙂
I’d love to see more “shape-up” challenges! I love those fun workouts.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I would love to see more recipes and meal plans, also some tips on skin care. Your blog has COMPLETLEY changed my life, when I first started reading over a year ago I was sick and off work with horrible stomach issues, but now with removing a lot of junk from my diet and adding more clean foods
I’m back to work and can’t be anymore happier!! Another bonus I lost 20lbs…..So thank you, thank you Fitnessista you changed my life!!:)xo
