A very special blogiversary [giveaway]- ended
Hi friends ๐ Howโs your morning going? Hope youโre having a wonderful day. <3
So the blog is 3 years old!!
The blog actually turned 3 last week, but with the Summer Shape Up and exciting news, I didnโt want to overload the week with too much going on.
For this post, I was originally planning on doing a list of events that have happened in the past 3 years, and then I realized:
1. A LOT of stuff has gone down and
2. the events arenโt what matter– itโs about the community, support, discussions and relationships that have been created in this tiny speck on the internet ๐ You are 99.9% of the reason why this blog is what it isโฆ I just write it, youโre the ones who show up for the party ๐
This little blog began as an urge to share my love of health and a distraction from online shopping while I was bored in Valdosta – it has grown so much in the past 3 years. Itโs changed and evolved with me, and Iโve had so much fun writing every word.
As a little thank you for changing my life, making this so rewarding and enjoyable, and just for being awesome, I thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway. Giving is always better than receiving for special occasions, anyway ๐ I picked a few of my absolute favorite things and this giveaway is sponsored by myself and the Pilot ๐
To go with the โ3 yearsโ theme, there will be 3 different winners:
-1 commenter will receive my favorite lululemon jacket, the Define Jacket in a color/size of their choice ($99)
-1 Facebook fan will receive a pair of Toms shoes (size/color of choice) and a Nars Orgasm blush from Sephora ($100)
(Iโm OBSESSED with the new crochet ones!! And everyone needs this blush)
-1 Twitter friend will receive a iTools Style Winder 1โ curling iron ($140)
(I still owe ya a video on how to use it, because itโs life-changing)
+ each winner will receive a dozen macaroons in a flavor of their choice ๐
This means you have 3 different ways to win 3 different prizes:
***This giveaway has ended as of 9:35 EST on June 15.
Thank you again for an incredible 3 years ๐
Love you guys,
Gina
I would like to see what your workouts are going to look like now that you are pregnant. What can/can’t you do now that you are pregnant and why? What cardio can you do? I think it would be very interesting to see what workouts you can do when you’re pregnant since a lot of women don’t workout because they don’t know what they can and cannot do! Maybe you can help with that, since you are a master at working out and giving tips!
I want more of the same–especially family posts and workouts! I also want fashion tips for stylish chicas on a budget. I think you’d do a fab job on something like that.
Congrats Gina! Love your blog, love you. Keep up the good work, and be well, love!
Gina!!! Your blog is great and I could not go without it. I love it just the way it is. I love all the workouts and I hope you have more!!! MUCH LOVE!!! Oh and I would also love that jacket and some maccarooners
Congrats on three years! I just began following your blog and am loving the summer shape-up plan. Also love your food ideas and would love to see even more of those (although I already have a long list of things I want to try that you’ve posted about!) The macaroons sound amazing!
I love your fitness tips and exercises, so I’d like to see more of that. Plus, pics of your new house and, of course baby pics!! ๐ Congrats on both and the blog anniversary too!
I definitely want to see more posts about your family/pregnancy (even though I know this isn’t what you intend your blog to be). I also would love to see more work outs (like the different Shape Ups, but even more frequently- it helps me change it up in my own training!) and work out move of the week. I also really like your Reader Requests and information-related posts- sometimes, I learn so much about something I never would have considered before!
While totally not a baby person, I am interested to see in the next year how you manage to juggle working out and being a mom, plus losing that pregnancy weight, or rather just getting back to your pre-pregnancy fit self. That’s one of the things that scares me most about pregnancy (aside from actually producing a child!).
On a side note, how are the Sally Hansen nail things holding up?
I would love to see a lot of fitness-while-pregnant posts. Even though I am years away from when I plan on being pregnant, I would love to see how it is done safely and effectively and I have no doubt that you will be on top of that!! And happy birthday to the blog!
Over the next year, I’d like to see some ideas how to healthify some classic dishes (like mac and cheese and such).
And I liked you on Facebook!! ๐
congrats! this may sound silly but just more of the same! yours is one of the first foodie blogs I started reading, and your warmth and humor (and recipes and fitness ideas) already keep me coming back. here’s to another 3 years!
Happy Blogiversary! I’d love to hear about your exercise plans while pregnant and post-baby! Also, love the recipes!
I love your blog as it’s been so inspirational for me in creating my own blog! I would LOVE to see more fashion tips, and even more baby information ๐ You seem SO wise!
Claire
And congrats on the three year anniversary…what an accomplishment!
Happy 3 years!!! Been following your blog for about a year and I adore it. Keep up the good work and know you’ve got tons of supporters!
I love you family posts! I would like to see more on how to get back into shape AFTER a baby. Especially abs after a c-section.
I am always so happy to see a new Fitnessista post on fb. Getting healthy is an ongoing challenge for me, but your blog is such a great source of inspiration. In the next year I guess I’d really like to see more of the same! I really love the recipes and the workout plans, and could always go for more of each!
Three years? Holy cow! I’d love to read more pregnancy updates in the coming months. Thanks for blogging a wonderful and unique life!
Happy 3 year blogiversary! I would like to see A TON of family/baby posts in the next year!

I would love to see more recipes! I love the “shape up” work outs, too!
Swooning over the jacket! I’m so excited to see how your health habits develop over the course of your pregnancy…losing control over my body is pretty scary. (But the parenting part…bring it on!)
I know you mentioned that you wouldn’t be changing the blog to pregnancy updates all of the time, but I would be interested to know how your eats and cravings affect your healthy lifestyle, I think it’d be interesting if you could share healthy recipes that also target hormonal cravings:)
I’m just so excited to experience parenting through you. I’m nowhere near ready to start a family but I can’t wait to follow your story.
Congratulations! I’ve been reading since 2008! I’d love to see what you are doing fitness wise as you get ready for baby! my hus and I are starting to talk about babies, so I’ve been loving all of the baby info. I used your winter and summer shape ups to get ready for my wedding, so it seems appropriate to follow you for the next step, too :).

Congrats on 3 years! In the next year, I hope you’ll continue your family posts and maybe some posts on the new house and decorating it!
I just found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago so I want to see how the Fitnessista rocks during her pregnancy ๐ so I have some inspiration for my own!
Great giveaways! That jacket looks comfortable and flattering
2. I like you on facebook!
Hey Gina!! Over the next year, I would love for you to continue posting healthy recipes. Also, would you ever consider posting video from your Zumba classes? I would love to take your class virtually!! Xo Kerri
I would love to see more family posts/ a wedding post ( more pictures!!)
Congrats on the blogiversary, three years is a long time to keep at blogging! I would really love to see more gluten free and / or raw dessert recipes. Really just recipes in general, but especially dessert…. I have too big of a sweet tooth!
Happy Blogiversary! I’m very interested in how you eat to stay healthy during your pregnancy and what choices you make when it comes to feeding the little one. I hope to have the same issues myself soon ๐
I love the summer workouts, I just recently started following your blog and it definitely helps to have a workout and meal plan integrated together! Also, congrats on the baby, I love reading all about your family updates!
Congrats on making it three years! It isn’t necessarily something new, but I am excited to see how you keep up your healthy eating and activities with the pregnancy and after baby is born.
