Black and boots
Oh hi, fall. Nice to see you 🙂
Even though I can’t wait for the holidays (Halloween!!!), getting together with the family and all of the upcoming events, I’ve been anxiously waiting to bust out the new boots.
I’ve been wanting a pair of riding boots for a few years now. We were in Italy, shopping for some shoes for the Pilot when these beauties caught my eye.
Love at first sight.
They fit perfectly, and even though I had to pack the insides of them with clothes to make them fit in my suitcase, I was so happy to bring them home with me.
I’ll be wearing these a bazillion times this autumn and winter.

I’m in no hurry to bust out the boots. I’m enjoying flats weather right now. After all, once I break out the boots, I’ll be wearing only them for a good 5 months thanks to stupidly long Midwest winters.
I have been on the search now for almost a year for the perfect boots. I tried on 5 different pairs just this weekend. Going to start looking on Pinterest for ideas again. Love these boots though & I would have done anything to get them home too!

Gorgeous!!! Those boots are lovely!! Are they comfortable? I’ve been looking for a pair of classic riding boots like that. But it’s difficult because they can be really uncomfortable and stiff. Also I have short legs–I’m 4′ 11″–so I can’t get something too tall or it looks like I’m being swallowed–lol. Also what brand are they?

I am (im)patiently waiting to put on boots! I have a slight obsession with boots and fall clothing. I just dress better in the fall I think!! Love those boots…and the black top, pants and brown boots is one of my favorite looks!
I have three pairs of taller boots. I went a little crazy when I lost a lot of weight and my calves could finally fit in boots! 🙂 I love them so much! I like that I can feel dressy and/or put together and chic even though all my boots are flats. Plus, they are so cozy during the 6-7 months of cold winters up here!

wow, thank you so much!! i think it’s just been a matter of trial and error over the years. i eat more now and more variety, and while there are definitely off days, i don’t think about it that much any more. i just focus on being happy and getting enough sleep each night 🙂

If you skip the leather then they are cheaper and you don’t have to literally wear the skin of an animal. Just a thought. Leather is pretty disgusting.

I will always love my black Frye Melissa button boots, but this fall I’m loving the Aerosoles Ride Line. I have them in brown from a few years ago but go them in black last month and have been wearing them to work almost every day.
I love black and brown together! The boots are so cute. You are in amazing shape and have inspired me to start running more. Starting at 3 miles a couple times a week and hoping to improve my time and distance.

You are looking amazing! All your dedication is totally paying off. Those boots are so beautiful. I’m also on the look out for an amazing pair of boots that I will love. Where I live I so wish I could wear boots like that during the winter but we get too much snow and ice. They put down sand and salt and any awesome looking boots that I wear would get ruined. So I end up wearing big, bulky boots that are super functional but not very cute.
