  3. Holly @ couchpotatoathlete on November 8, 2010 at 8:54 am

Haha – So glad to hear the ‘stache is leaving soon ๐Ÿ™‚

And that dress is PURPLE — and I know what you mean by hitting your knee wrong — you need to feel comfortable with what you’re wearing. I’m glad you found something else to wear.

    Have a safe trip home!

  4. Erica on November 8, 2010 at 8:58 am

I can totally relate about the mustache! My birthday is tomorrow and I finally get to say goodbye to the thing my boyfriend has been growing on his face for the last three weeks! ๐Ÿ˜€

  5. Jill on November 8, 2010 at 9:04 am

I didn’t know there were men reasonable enough to shave their mustaches off during Movember!

  6. Tab - Just Weighing In on November 8, 2010 at 9:12 am

too bad the grape dress didn’t work, it looked cute! Best part of my weekend? Probably cleaning the house yesterday. Actually, I should clarify – my husband cleaned the house yesterday; vacuumed and everything! ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Mara @ What's For Dinner? on November 8, 2010 at 9:19 am

I’m truly grateful we got to see each other this weekend! I so wish you lived closer. Your macaroons saved me from starvation on my delayed flight last night!!! Love you!

  8. jenna on November 8, 2010 at 9:28 am

what an awesome weekend!! how fun!

who was your roommate? and is that grey bag yours? it’s so CUTE!

  9. Avery on November 8, 2010 at 9:30 am

Grape dress is cute, but as a shorty myself (5’3″ on a good day) I find dresses to often be a teensy bit too long on me as well. Also, where do you buy your skinny jeans? Whenever I see pics of you in some, they look super cute!

  10. Cyndi @ Weightless Life on November 8, 2010 at 9:38 am

The best part of my weekend was running my 2nd half marathon, and getting to spend some quality time with my husband.

Aaah, did you stay in the Westin St Francis?! I LOVED the bed there! Definitely Heavenly! I slept like someone shot me with an elephant gun! I definitely left my heart in San Francisco…! Sigh…

Wow, what an amazing festival! Mad jealz over here – my weekend was the opposite, but I’m still grateful. I got to spend it studying my face off for the personal trainer certification workshop I’m attending in 2 weeks! Very thankful for the potential opportunities coming my way. Safe travels!

Trying your famous macaroon finally (yay!) and Dropping It Low with you were definitely highlights! Not to mention the shopping! Btw, your new dress for the gala was gorgey…you looked so pretty! ๐Ÿ™‚

Someday I’ll make it to a city you’re in and we will FINALLY meet. I think that’s the most upsetting part about not being able to attend Foodbuzz. I just want to meet everyone I’ve been internet friends with for almost two years!

Best part of my weekend was all the reading, watching and relaxing I did!

    xoxo

    • Fitnessista on November 8, 2010 at 6:02 pm

i can’t wait to finally meet you one of these days, too!
      come to orlando!

  31. Leanne @ Simplicitlee on November 8, 2010 at 11:41 am

I think taking a moment to say out loud what you’re grateful is so important. A couple times a week, before bed my fiance & I tell eachother what we’re grateful for. It really puts things in perspective and sometimes he’s grateful for something I did for him (that I mightve thought wasnt a huge deal)… it’s really neat ๐Ÿ™‚

This weekend I’m grateful for celebrating my 4 year dating anniversary with my guy. It was lovely <3

  32. Tina @ Faith Fitness Fun on November 8, 2010 at 11:43 am

  33. Clare @ Fitting It All In on November 8, 2010 at 11:47 am

Yikes I can see how that dress would be a little difficult to wear…even with a rockin’ body like yours! Well I love the new one you bought so it turned out fine!!

And the pilot with no mustache is def. something to celebrate! hehe

  34. Misha on November 8, 2010 at 11:54 am

where did you get your grey bag? I LOVE IT AND NEED IT!

    thx!

  35. Megan @ Healthy Hoggin' on November 8, 2010 at 11:55 am

    Sounds like an awesome weekend!!

The best part of mine? Taking my very first Physique 57 class at their new Beverly Hills studio– it’s SO fun!! They also inspired me to make my very first Lululemon purchase… which is exciting, but addicting! (time to throw my wallet in the freezer!)

My husband loves growing a mustache, too. I don’t get it. Glad the pilot is shaving his for you! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Fitnessista on November 8, 2010 at 6:01 pm

The pilot can’t shave his stash because It’s MOVEMBER! A month which men grow their moustache in support of prostate cancer research. Spread the word!

  41. Brittany (Eating Bird Food) on November 8, 2010 at 12:48 pm

I am grateful for that delicious raw chocolate mousse that we had at Cafe Gratitude. I’m just hoping you’ll recreate it at home and share the recipe. ๐Ÿ˜‰

      totally!
i’m glad you like it ๐Ÿ™‚

  44. Angie (Losing It and Loving It) on November 8, 2010 at 1:38 pm

There sure is a lot to be thankful for! This weekend hubby and I worked out together as usual (spin class and 2 walks) and went shopping at the outlet mall for race gear (for me, he’s such a trooper). We’ll be walking the Reggae Marathon half coming next month and wanted to get most of the shopping done this weekend.

It’s been fun catching up on your fun time at Foodbuzz.

  45. KimEatandBe on November 8, 2010 at 1:47 pm

It was so great to read about everyone’s experience in San Fran and live vicariously through you guys!
I have a question and it might seem weird, but how do you get the volume in your hair? I love it and it always looks great, but mine is always flat against my scalp. Grr. I’ve heard of Bump-Its but am afraid to try them. Any tips? Thanks!

    • Fitnessista on November 8, 2010 at 5:58 pm

haha i always laugh when people ask how i add volume to my hair- it’s just super thick and puffy! my cousin has a bump it and she loves it, though

  46. Hillary [Nutrition Nut on the Run] on November 8, 2010 at 1:53 pm

You look stunning in your “banana” dress – just lovely!

    • Fitnessista on November 8, 2010 at 5:58 pm

      thanks!!

  47. Averie (LoveVeggiesAndYoga) on November 8, 2010 at 2:29 pm

Best part of the weekend was coming home to my family after being gone ๐Ÿ™‚

Being a mother has taught me that no matter how much fun I am having, my head, heart, and spirit are with my child (and husband) and nothing is as fun as seeing them again!

Although of course meeting you and everyone else was amazing!!!

The purple dress…it totally looks like it *could have been cute..but yes, I can see it’s a lot of fabric and if that doesnt hit right, yeah, it could be less than ideal but the B.R. dress rocked on you!

  48. Katie on November 8, 2010 at 2:35 pm

The best part of my weekend was taking Thursday and Friday off work, making it a leisurely 4-day weekend, getting a massage, playing with the kitty, and getting all my chores done so I could be lazy with the boyfriend Saturday and Sunday. ๐Ÿ™‚ And checking out the new Market Fresh store, sampling all of the items, wine tasting, cheese tasting (ended up getting a cranberry-cinnamon goat cheese… Mmm!!!), and got crab stuffed salmon for dinner!

  49. Shanna, Like Banana on November 8, 2010 at 2:56 pm

Best part of my weekend was making peanut butter chocolate chip banana bread ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh and eating fabulous mexi food on Fri night!

  50. Sana on November 8, 2010 at 3:05 pm

You are sooooo pretty, but that dress was not flattering at all- good call on the other one :)!
