How bout a roon?
Heyyyyyy ๐ How are you? Itโs almost Friday! I guess the Superbowl is this weekend? No idea whoโs playing, haha.
After class last night (we had 6 people! yeahh!), I came home for a super simple yet delicious dinner:
Roasted fennel and carrots, red quinoa and organic pinto beans
While I made dinner, I also packed todayโs lunch so I wouldnโt have to deal with it this morning ๐
Salad with bell peppers, fresh guacamole (onion, avocado, tomatoes, garlic, cumin, sea salt, lemon juice, pepper), salsa for dressing + a blueberry smoothie + an apple

Planks – painful, but effective.
I’d love to get some of those roons! My favorite move is tricep dips. I feel like you see results in a short amount of time, and it works more than just the triceps.
I love the plank moves you posted the other day. I am also a big fan of lunges with weights!

My favorite workout move changes all the time. Lately I’m really into tricep dips, planks and side planks. After I watched your plank video I realized that there are so many modifications for that move, and I’ve noticed improvement in my core so much already. Nothing makes me feel stronger than holding a solid plank until my body is completely shaking.
I love planks. They just require so much focus and determination!

Definitely planks. They tone way more that just doing sit ups and there are so many great variations.

Sit ups are my favorites!
I’m not sure the name, but I love arm pulls with rings. When you lay back on your back and use your arm strength to pull up to standing. That and squats hurt so good. For recovery I love down dog and child’s pose.

My absolute favorite fitness move is kettlebell swings!! Full body, heart pumping core work. I love them!!
Burpees are awesome but I’m not quite there yet. They make me fall on the ground and cry like a contestant on ‘The Biggest Loser.’ I love sumo squats at the moment! ๐
My favorite move EVER is a classic…lunges! I love the versatility of them-weighted lunges, wide lunges, stepping back lunges, box up lunges, I could go on and on! They are the one move that no matter how many and what way I do them-I feel them in the morning! There is a reason everybody does them!! I also want to say thank you for opening my eyes to raw food. I used to be a processed food junkie-thinking that by eating lean cuisines, an diet bars that my body was getting all that it needed and I was “healthy.” Wow, was I wrong! Now my pantry is practically bare and my fridge is stocked! I can’t even describe what a difference I notice in the way my body functions and I LOVE it! My fiance thinks some of the food I eat is, “weird” but I’m hoping he’ll jump on board one day soon! Thank you so much and keep the great info coming, I look forward to it every day after work!!
My favorite move actually is the burpee! Its fun to say and versatile.
I’m going to go a little outside the box here and say mine is walking through the gym door. It strengthens your DO-IT! muscle

What a fabulous giveaway! “These Are a Few of My Favorite Things” started playing in my head, cheesy Sound of Music style, as soon as I read everything amazing that’s included.
Brother and sister fitness moves – wall-sits and planks! I have to give myself mini-pep talks while doing both to push through just 5 more seconds, and then 5 more, and then 5 more….and before I know it, I’ve done an extra 45 seconds and it’s worth it in the end!
