How bout a roon?

Heyyyyyy 😀 How are you? It’s almost Friday! I guess the Superbowl is this weekend? No idea who’s playing, haha.

After class last night (we had 6 people! yeahh!), I came home for a super simple yet delicious dinner:

dinner

Roasted fennel and carrots, red quinoa and organic pinto beans

While I made dinner, I also packed today’s lunch so I wouldn’t have to deal with it this morning 😉

salad

Salad with bell peppers, fresh guacamole (onion, avocado, tomatoes, garlic, cumin, sea salt, lemon juice, pepper), salsa for dressing + a blueberry smoothie + an apple

My fav fitness move is the push-up…not the on your knees kind but the up on your toes rockin’ the boy push-up kind. I can’t do many of them but I love what they do for me. I’ll have to like you on FB when I get home.

  2. Lauren on February 3, 2011 at 12:54 pm

I love doing squats side to side with a resistance band on, it helps target my upper thigh where some weight has crept on.

  3. Amanda M on February 3, 2011 at 12:54 pm

Squats! Although I am trying to like lunges…so hard for me!

  4. Chelsea on February 3, 2011 at 12:55 pm

Push-ups are my favorite go-to full-body exercise, but I also love all kinds of squats!

  5. Cyclist Kate on February 3, 2011 at 12:55 pm

Side leg presses on the Pilates reformer. Holy moly, they make me shake and cry every time.

  6. Sam M. on February 3, 2011 at 12:55 pm

I like the tricep dip because I feel the burrrrrn. Also, calf raises because I think muscular calves are just so lovely!

  8. Katie on February 3, 2011 at 12:56 pm

I don’t know the actual name but the push-up planks that Jillian Michaels uses in Level 3 of 30 day shred. You first start off in a forearm plank position and then push up one arm at a time until you’re in full plank. I love the efficiency of this move! I can really feel it in all of my body!

  9. sarah on February 3, 2011 at 12:56 pm

Its hard for me to choose what my favorite move is but I would say lat pulldowns on the cable machine (or planks). I feel very strong when I do either of those two moves.

  10. Heather on February 3, 2011 at 12:56 pm

My all-time favorite fitness move is spelling out the ABCs using a weighted medicine ball (like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uV7iU-MjbY&playnext=1&list=PLFE26135A732AD177). It works EVERYTHING! [:
