How bout a roon?

Heyyyyyy 😀 How are you? It’s almost Friday! I guess the Superbowl is this weekend? No idea who’s playing, haha.

After class last night (we had 6 people! yeahh!), I came home for a super simple yet delicious dinner:

dinner

Roasted fennel and carrots, red quinoa and organic pinto beans

While I made dinner, I also packed today’s lunch so I wouldn’t have to deal with it this morning 😉

salad

Salad with bell peppers, fresh guacamole (onion, avocado, tomatoes, garlic, cumin, sea salt, lemon juice, pepper), salsa for dressing + a blueberry smoothie + an apple

My fav would have to be the plank. Nothing works your abs quicker!

  9. Dana on February 3, 2011 at 1:36 pm

No wonder you are a fitness instructor with your favorite move being burpees. I can’t stand those! Haha! I’d have to say my favorite fitness move is anything with shoulders – maybe overhead press.

  10. Jenna on February 3, 2011 at 1:36 pm

My favorite fitness move would definitely be plank. Or plank-ing? Either way, I love how good I feel about myself when I can hold it for a way long time!
    “Liked” on Facebook: check!

    I love to hate burpees!

  12. Sarah S-F on February 3, 2011 at 1:37 pm

  13. Katy on February 3, 2011 at 1:38 pm

    Holy comments!
My favorite fitness move is either pushups or planks. I’m bad at both but love how you can really see an improvement as you get stronger.

  22. Amanda @ Cakes and Ale on February 3, 2011 at 1:41 pm

My all time fave move is downward facing dog. I bust it out everywhere!

  23. Coleen on February 3, 2011 at 1:41 pm

Lunges. That is one move where I usually really feel it the next day.
I already like you on facebook.

  26. Kimberly @ Healthy Strides on February 3, 2011 at 1:42 pm

My favorite move is the chaturanga. It took me forever to be able to do them so it was uber rewarding when I got there. Plus, there are fantastic for the arms!

  27. Ashley @ Healthy Heroine on February 3, 2011 at 1:42 pm

I liked you on Facebook! 🙂

  28. Allison on February 3, 2011 at 1:42 pm

This may sound weird but wheel pose in yoga is a great fitness move. It stretches (the abs) and strengthens (arms/legs) at the same time. Already liked you on fb!

  29. Misty on February 3, 2011 at 1:43 pm

  33. Brie @ Brie Fit on February 3, 2011 at 1:44 pm

    I’m a squat junkie!

  34. Ashley @ Healthy Heroine on February 3, 2011 at 1:44 pm

I love (and occasionally hate) push ups. Finishing a set of push ups leaves me with a great feeling of accomplishment and strength.

  35. Jessica on February 3, 2011 at 1:45 pm

Blurpees?! I resent blurpees so much, but they are quite effective! I love push ups on the ball – feet on the ball, hands on the floor. You have to engage your abs to keep your stable so its an added bonus to a regular push-up!

  36. Laurel on February 3, 2011 at 1:45 pm

    Planks…

  37. Laurel on February 3, 2011 at 1:45 pm

Jump squats!! My legs get soooo sore from them anytime I do them!!

  40. Tayla on February 3, 2011 at 1:47 pm

  44. Denise on February 3, 2011 at 1:49 pm

  47. Catherine on February 3, 2011 at 1:53 pm

My favorite move is plank, with alternating arms and legs!

  48. Tamara on February 3, 2011 at 1:54 pm

Does skipping count? Hopefully! If not..then box jumps.
