How bout a roon?
Heyyyyyy ๐ How are you? Itโs almost Friday! I guess the Superbowl is this weekend? No idea whoโs playing, haha.
After class last night (we had 6 people! yeahh!), I came home for a super simple yet delicious dinner:
Roasted fennel and carrots, red quinoa and organic pinto beans
While I made dinner, I also packed todayโs lunch so I wouldnโt have to deal with it this morning ๐
Salad with bell peppers, fresh guacamole (onion, avocado, tomatoes, garlic, cumin, sea salt, lemon juice, pepper), salsa for dressing + a blueberry smoothie + an apple

walking lunges and planks!
Squats! I can tolerate them more than lunges and they work a lot of muscles at once, although down dogs and yoga have been winning out more recently.
You know, I’ve never had a raw roon!!! I know, crazy!! I’m dying to try one so I hope I win!
My fav move is a mix between a lunge and warrior pose ๐
My favourite move is a flipturn in the pool – I’m not the best at it but I like it!
the plank! simple and effective!
I am LOVING standing cable lunge + row drivers… It’s like a crane lunge on redbull!

Overhead tricep extension! I love working my triceps for some reason. I used to love the squat machine at my gym, but they got a new one and it’s not nearly as amazing.
i think curtsy lunges are an all time favorite of mine! I always feel the burn the next day after i do them!

Shaun T’s power squats! and plie squats, and lunges, and randomly going up into half-handstand on the walls…I guess I can’t pick just one! I definitely love the power squats though.
Dead lifts into overhead press! I feel the burn every time!!
Favorite fitness move for cardio interval training has to be Mary Katherines aka (plyometric) jumping lunges. Just want to scream Superstar while doing though ๐ Guaranteed to get the old heart rate up! For weights I would have to say anything that works my triceps especially kickbacks and dips.
Chest press because I can lift a lot and I feel bad ass ๐

Burpees are my nemesis! I wish they weren’t though! I’ve always luuuurved lat pulldowns though! That or shoulder shrugs…
I love the C-curve (learned in Core Fusion classes at Exhale)…really works your core!
my fave workout move is the plank…i love seeing how long I can hold it and set goals!

My fave fitness move is pull-ups! I can’t do a real one yet, but that is one of my goals for the year, and I’m working towards it!

Favorite move is the plank and moving in and out of variations of the plank. They’re always a challenge and leave me feeling powerful when I complete a set ๐
I know it may seem boring and old school but I love a good push up! Despite being a little more “curvy” than the average fitness enthusiast, I like to imagine I’m as buff as GI jane when I do a push up! haha!

I am all about step-ups on the weight bench and push ups. I lurve push ups.
My favorite move is curtsy lunge with an overhead press.
Burpees!
Not sure what it’s called, but it’s a Pilates exercise (at least we do it in Pilates class), you’re on all fours and then you can do all kinds of fun stuff with your legs, extend them sideways, up, down, knee crosses down behing the other leg, leg pulses to the ceiling etc. You can also extend one arm and pull the leg and the other arm in – so many ways to work out! And I always feel it, so it should be working :-).
I love the give away – I never found any mung bean pasta, so I would love to try it!
Pushups! I also add planks and side planks in between sets!
I love lunges….forward, lateral, reverse…my favorite is with the back leg on a bench….tough but so awesome ๐
The best are the basics push ups/squats. They are always hard and make you feel strong!
