How bout a roon?
Heyyyyyy ๐ How are you? Itโs almost Friday! I guess the Superbowl is this weekend? No idea whoโs playing, haha.
After class last night (we had 6 people! yeahh!), I came home for a super simple yet delicious dinner:
Roasted fennel and carrots, red quinoa and organic pinto beans
While I made dinner, I also packed todayโs lunch so I wouldnโt have to deal with it this morning ๐
Salad with bell peppers, fresh guacamole (onion, avocado, tomatoes, garlic, cumin, sea salt, lemon juice, pepper), salsa for dressing + a blueberry smoothie + an apple

HIIT workouts! They still get me dripping sweat every time but I can tell I am growing stronger and faster because of them.
My favorite is definitely box jumps with a squat. Burpee’s used to kick my butt, but Box jumps are my new nemesis! Gotta love the burn!!!

Lunges and I have a love/hate relationship! Right now, I’m loving them! They make my legs and booty look tight and tone!
I would love to try your roons!! My favorite workout moves are backward lunges (though I don’t like forward ones) and shoulder raises. I love shoulder workouts bc I see the definition right away!
My fave fitness move would have to be push ups!They’re super challenging and u use ur whole body:)

Well, right now since I have a broken foot and am very limited,I am really into doing skull crushers. I can listen to the doctor and take it easy, but I’ll never stop working out my arms! When I can stand, I like doing side lunges cause it feels so good to get the inside of my thigh… yeah, it’s not extreme, but I love em.

I love your short blast of cardio! You did a video on it, and it love it! I have a 6 month old and sometime don’t get “30 minutes” of cardio in…all together…lol But short cardio moves adds up =]

i always loved butterfly jumps! where you have to make your jumps as soft as possible? AH THE THIGHS THEY BURN. ๐

Hex Bar Dead Lifts! My trainer has me up to 145 pounds as of this past Monday. They make me feel so powerful!

I really love the clean and press–makes me feel so powerfull! the move I love to hate are lunges–they hurt me, but are so effective!

sumo squats or side plank with rotation. Burpees are freakin’ awesome, though, too!
Hello Fitnessita!
I’ve been wanting to talk to someone about this, and you’re the only one I “know” who’s gone through it. I’ve been vegan for years, and recently added dairy, and now added chicken as of yesterday. I am wondering how you explained it to everyone who makes you feel bad about your choice, and how you explain that you won’t be eating steak now that you’re eating chicken. I’m also feeling like I’m being selfish by eating it, and don’t know quite how to make it pass. I keep telling myself that people will always eat chicken, so my support of locally raised and well treated chickens does more than completely abstaining from it.
I hope you’re okay talking about this.
