How bout a roon?

Heyyyyyy ๐Ÿ˜€ How are you? Itโ€™s almost Friday! I guess the Superbowl is this weekend? No idea whoโ€™s playing, haha.

After class last night (we had 6 people! yeahh!), I came home for a super simple yet delicious dinner:

dinner

Roasted fennel and carrots, red quinoa and organic pinto beans

While I made dinner, I also packed todayโ€™s lunch so I wouldnโ€™t have to deal with it this morning ๐Ÿ˜‰

salad

Salad with bell peppers, fresh guacamole (onion, avocado, tomatoes, garlic, cumin, sea salt, lemon juice, pepper), salsa for dressing + a blueberry smoothie + an apple

Facebook is so nifty for keeping track of everything!

My favorite fitness move would be something not many people do…but doing my off-ice jump workouts from figure skating. Definitely hard work! It’s always fun to see people watching a random gym member jumping around for half an hour.

  2. Beth on February 3, 2011 at 9:27 pm

I love jumping lunges. Also, fitnessista workouts! ๐Ÿ™‚

I actually like burpees, too. We used to do them in old school swim team practices, and they’ve stuck with me.

  7. Caitlin on February 3, 2011 at 9:31 pm

Squats! and I have to cheat and add that a second is the plank

    Nothing beats the classic squat!

  10. lindsey on February 3, 2011 at 9:34 pm

  38. Taya on February 3, 2011 at 10:07 pm

I love planks – they’re so simple, and yet you can do so much with them! Sometimes I elevate my feet on a step, do side planks, alternate lifting legs…and they make me feel strong! I also love doing sun salutations after a long day – so mind clearing!

  39. Lili on February 3, 2011 at 10:08 pm

wow! great question! I think I narrowed down my favorite workout move to a plank, it is one move I can do anywhere and see and feel the quickest results! Although warrior 3 in yoga is quickly becoming a new favorite as I am a yoga newbie!

  40. Amy on February 3, 2011 at 10:09 pm

    Push ups are my favorite!!!

  41. Whitney on February 3, 2011 at 10:10 pm
