How bout a roon?
Heyyyyyy ๐ How are you? Itโs almost Friday! I guess the Superbowl is this weekend? No idea whoโs playing, haha.
After class last night (we had 6 people! yeahh!), I came home for a super simple yet delicious dinner:
Roasted fennel and carrots, red quinoa and organic pinto beans
While I made dinner, I also packed todayโs lunch so I wouldnโt have to deal with it this morning ๐
Salad with bell peppers, fresh guacamole (onion, avocado, tomatoes, garlic, cumin, sea salt, lemon juice, pepper), salsa for dressing + a blueberry smoothie + an apple

I would say as a runner, I like anything that uses my legs since they are strong (I guess this is kind of cheating). I love squats because I love being able to feel the burn. With arms and core, I usually feel weak and get frustrated. Squats are so fun because they burn, but they burn so good!

I love high knees! I always have troubles with burpees, but they always get my heart rate up!

oldie but goodie…pushups! i recently stopped doing the girly ones (on my knees) and started doing them the real way. love that burn, baby!
Hm… right now I really like “spidermans.” sort of like mountain climbers, but you’re in a plank position and then you reach up your left leg to next to your left hand by crunching your abs, then back to plank; your right leg next to your right hand, then back to plank, and so on alternating sides. It’s really fun!

Roons! I love these right now. I would have to say my favorite fitness move is plank/right before going into updown and down dog. I love that my shoulders feel so much stronger now.

one of my clients told me after one of my dailey method classes last week (i teach there), that in the police academy they would hold straight arm planks for 20 minutes!!!!
I am currently having trouble walking upstairs because of a killer body sculpt class, but I am still going to say I love squats.
I adore your goodies! My favorite is boxing with weights while in squat! I feel fierce. ๐

Not sure what you call it. My PT taught it to me. Basically a corner wall pushup. Makes my shoulders feel fantastic.
My favorite workout move is anything pilates related!
Ball back extension! Or maybe kickbacks…I can’t decide. Roons look amazing!

I love doing mountain climber planks. Gets your heart rate up and your core is screaming! Love the blog, thanks for all you do.
My all-time favorite fitness move goes back to my time in gymnastics… v-sits. I couldn’t do a chin up to save my life so I had to be good at SOMETHING!

Its a tie between squats and planks… I love playing with both moves and adding in differnt challenges!

PUSH UPS! They work the WHOLE body so what can be better?
My favorite is the plank. So many variations to such a simple, effective move!
I love plain-old push-ups (and variations like chatarungas and one-legged push-ups). Classic, easy to do anywhere and modify up or down, and so effective!
I thought you said fitness movie, so i was going to say rocky, haha. but i think my fave move would be upper cut air punches… they make me feel so badass!
I love burpees, planks, and twisted sit ups with a medicine ball.
I’m not sure if these are an “official” move, but I really like what I call reverse lunges…where you steadily swing your leg behind you ๐

I have to say I am a fan of “killers” as we call them at home, otherwise know as squat jumps. I love the fact that after only 10 i’m dying ๐

I can’t believe burpees are your fave, i hate them! Haha! I like tricep dips, mostly because I am finally getting better at them but they still burn! And I really want toned arms!
