How bout a roon?

Heyyyyyy ๐Ÿ˜€ How are you? Itโ€™s almost Friday! I guess the Superbowl is this weekend? No idea whoโ€™s playing, haha.

After class last night (we had 6 people! yeahh!), I came home for a super simple yet delicious dinner:

dinner

Roasted fennel and carrots, red quinoa and organic pinto beans

While I made dinner, I also packed todayโ€™s lunch so I wouldnโ€™t have to deal with it this morning ๐Ÿ˜‰

salad

Salad with bell peppers, fresh guacamole (onion, avocado, tomatoes, garlic, cumin, sea salt, lemon juice, pepper), salsa for dressing + a blueberry smoothie + an apple

  35. Alexis on February 3, 2011 at 12:18 pm

I don’t know if it counts, but tree pose. I suppose it’s not technically a workout move, but it’s one that I always look forward to in my yoga practice!

Wall sits would have to be my other favorite. It’s the epitome of mind over matter when I hit that 60-second mark, and it’s a great feeling of accomplishment (and immediate wobbly-legs)!

  36. Dianna on February 3, 2011 at 12:18 pm

My favorite is the good oldfashioned plank.
It never fails to work every muscle.

  37. Susan on February 3, 2011 at 12:18 pm

My favorite exercise is from pilates; the rollover with a leg raise is my all time favorite! It reminds me of when I was younger and I would bust out with the move on the floor when my family was watching tv at night.

  38. Jenna@frombostonwithlove on February 3, 2011 at 12:18 pm

I really like seated oblique twists with a medicine ball. Well “like” is relative. All core work is so hard but it feels so good.

  39. Summer on February 3, 2011 at 12:19 pm

I love lunges! Ok so maybe I don’t love actually doing them. But I love the results!!!

  40. Amy Afonso on February 3, 2011 at 12:19 pm

I really like Shawn T.’s squat jacks where you touch the floor with each squat. Oh, the burn!

  41. Mandy on February 3, 2011 at 12:19 pm

Eagle pose in yoga! I adore so many yoga moves though, it’s hard to pick just one ๐Ÿ™‚

  42. tea-bag on February 3, 2011 at 12:20 pm

  44. Kristyn on February 3, 2011 at 12:20 pm

    Squats! A classic.

  46. Lauren on February 3, 2011 at 12:20 pm
