It’s Roon Time, Baby

I started mine off with a product call and a BodyPump class with a friend. BodyPump is pretty much rocking my world, cheesy music and singing instructors aside ๐ I push myself way harder during BP than when I do weights on my own.
Post-workout snack:
They were a little on the burned side, but I covered it up with almond butter and a splash of prickly pear syrup from the farmerโs market ๐
This afternoon was filled with errands and to-dos, then I decided stinky Bella needed a date with the bathtub.
My madre bought these for Bellย – Paul Mitchellโs new line for pets.
Bella loved it!
She smells like sweet oatmeal now ๐

I will read as many books as possible this year. Less TV, more reading!

Completing my first 1/2 marathon. I’m really not a fan of running but do love a good challenge! Started officially training 10 days ago so here goes nothing!

I’m a long time runner who had major knee surgery this past July (google Fulkerson osteotomy if you want to be horrified). My doctor told me he thinks I’ll be running again by March; right now I can just jog for thirty seconds or so at a time. So– my goal is to be able to run a 10k by October to celebrate healthy knees!
I wish so bad my gym had body pump classes! I will run my first half marathon by March 21, 2001! I’m signed up for one on March 20th ๐
To run a 5K by April. I have a really hard time motivating myself to run further than a mile at a time. I’m determined to push myself to run further!

To take risks!! I want to accomplish something by the end of every month that is so out of my personality that it’s going to challenge me to be the best I can. This month (and don’t laugh) it’s to start dating more and have a good time, because I tend to be too focused on working out and my career that I don’t loosen up that much. And I actually have one tomorrow night with a pilot! ๐

To be happy. 2010 was ROUGH…so in 2011 i am just wanting some calm, happiness, family, hiking and less tears. I’m SO excited for this new year! It’s going to be a GREAT one!
i have until may 16 to explore a world of new foods… on may 16 i embark on a trip to europe (paris and rome included)
I will complete two bible study courses towards my certificate by May 2011. I have 7 credits already and have 5 more to go for a certificate. I will also go to Hawaii this year with my husband. Our plans fell through to go there for our honeymoon. This year, God willing, we will celebrate our 17th anniversary in Maui. Cheers, Kirsten PS. To have my broken foot healed within the next six weeks so I can go back to work! Not an extravagant life changing goal, but when you’re stuck in the house and can’t work, it means a lot!

One of my goals for this year is to stay on top of my school work, and keep up with it as the semester goes on. I have a habit of leaving things to the last minute and then stressing hard a few days before a midterm/final exam. So my goal is to not let that happen this semester!!

I would love to win those famous treats! My goal this year is to be more loving, compassionate, giving, and open my heart. This better last forever. I realized two days ago how I built up this wall of judgement towards people and especially the homeless, all of us are the same despite our circumstances! so I went out and bought bars of granolas and looking into good deal on socks etc if I can find a bulk. Work in progress.

I had my son on Halloween and I’d like to start setting good examples for him by eating healthier and working out more.
I’m going to push myself harder during my workouts during the next two months. I want to be feeling my best when I finally get to visit my boy at the USAFA in February. Colorado springs is too far from Austin, TX!
