It’s Roon Time, Baby

I started mine off with a product call and a BodyPump class with a friend. BodyPump is pretty much rocking my world, cheesy music and singing instructors aside ๐ I push myself way harder during BP than when I do weights on my own.
Post-workout snack:
They were a little on the burned side, but I covered it up with almond butter and a splash of prickly pear syrup from the farmerโs market ๐
This afternoon was filled with errands and to-dos, then I decided stinky Bella needed a date with the bathtub.
My madre bought these for Bellย – Paul Mitchellโs new line for pets.
Bella loved it!
She smells like sweet oatmeal now ๐

I will work out consistently 4 days per week and lose 20lbs by April!
My overall goal for the year is balance. I want to balanced with good foods that I put into my body, reading my Bible on a daily and consistent basis and including physical activity/yoga into my week. I will evaluate myself every week to see what I can do to better achieve balance in my life.

I’m going to start cooking recipes from all my food magazines. I subscribe, then don’t cook from them! My goal is to try something new once a week, or four new recipes a month.

I have two goals this year. The first finish grad school in May and find a fulfilling job by the end of June, if not earlier. My second goal is simply to be healthy and good to myself- meaning cutting out the “fat” talk, exercising healthfully but not obsessively, and eating whole foods to properly fuel my body. There isn’t a specific time when I’ll reach this goal, I plan on taking it one day at a time.
One of my goals for 2011 is to incorporate at least 30 minutes of meditation into my daily routine. My plan is to make this a habit by the end of February.
I want to work out 4 days a week for the rest of the year. I’ve been kind of a slacker with this over the holiday season and want to get back on track. The macaroons look so delicious!
I will stop concentrating on the number on the scale and adapt an ‘Eat,Pray,Love’ mindset when it comes to the EAT part!! This is my goal for 2011!!!!
One of my goals is to train for and run a half marathon. If that goes well, I would like to run a full marathon by the end of the year.

I love my veggies, but the power house leafies sometimes get neglected (other than kale, of course). I plan to accomplish this… well, everyday! But during January it is definitely my focus because I know it will help my immunity stay strong during this chilly month.
