It’s Roon Time, Baby

Hi friends ๐Ÿ™‚ How are you? Hope youโ€™re having a wonderful day so far <3

I started mine off with a product call and a BodyPump class with a friend. BodyPump is pretty much rocking my world, cheesy music and singing instructors aside ๐Ÿ™‚ I push myself way harder during BP than when I do weights on my own.

Post-workout snack:

Perfect protein pancakes!

They were a little on the burned side, but I covered it up with almond butter and a splash of prickly pear syrup from the farmerโ€™s market ๐Ÿ˜‰

This afternoon was filled with errands and to-dos, then I decided stinky Bella needed a date with the bathtub.

My madre bought these for Bellย  – Paul Mitchellโ€™s new line for pets.

    My overall goal for the year is balance. I want to balanced with good foods that I put into my body, reading my Bible on a daily and consistent basis and including physical activity/yoga into my week.     I’m going to start cooking recipes from all my food magazines. I subscribe, then don’t cook from them! My goal is to try something new once a week, or four new recipes a month.

    I have two goals this year. The first finish grad school in May and find a fulfilling job by the end of June, if not earlier. My second goal is simply to be healthy and good to myself- meaning cutting out the “fat” talk, exercising healthfully but not obsessively, and eating whole foods to properly fuel my body. There isn’t a specific time when I’ll reach this goal, I plan on taking it one day at a time.

    One of my goals for 2011 is to incorporate at least 30 minutes of meditation into my daily routine. My plan is to make this a habit by the end of February.

    I want to work out 4 days a week for the rest of the year. I’ve been kind of a slacker with this over the holiday season and want to get back on track. The macaroons look so delicious!

    Bella looks absolutely adorable :). And Gina, you are the sweetest! You deserve a batch of macaroons and goodies, too! My goal is to eat more leafy greens. I love my veggies, but the power house leafies sometimes get neglected (other than kale, of course). I plan to accomplish this… well, everyday! But during January it is definitely my focus because I know it will help my immunity stay strong during this chilly month.
