I started mine off with a product call and a BodyPump class with a friend. BodyPump is pretty much rocking my world, cheesy music and singing instructors aside ๐ I push myself way harder during BP than when I do weights on my own.
Post-workout snack:
They were a little on the burned side, but I covered it up with almond butter and a splash of prickly pear syrup from the farmerโs market ๐
This afternoon was filled with errands and to-dos, then I decided stinky Bella needed a date with the bathtub.
My madre bought these for Bellย – Paul Mitchellโs new line for pets.
Bella loved it!
She smells like sweet oatmeal now ๐

My goal for 2011 is to not hold back. Too often I bite my tongue afraid of what others might think/say, afraid of failing but at the same time afraid of succeeding. This day, this week, this month, and this year I am going to work actively, with purpose to improve this part of me.

I started running (have never been a ‘runner’, more of a yoga gal) and I WILL run my first 10K on April 2nd at the end of my training plan.
In 2011 I am going to run my first half and full marathons! Hopefully I will participate in 2 more half marys and a few smaller races as well!

I have never commented on your blog before, but I wanted to say that it is truly amazing and I enjoy it so much ๐ I have one non-fitness goal (apply and get into med school….ah, scary!) and one fitness-related goal (run the Cherry Blossom 10-miler injury free!).

In 2011 I will stop using my credit card so easily and will work on paying off a good chunk of my debt!

I work full time in community mental health (as a child and family therapist). I started a private practice last year on the side but put pretty much NO effort into it. This year, I want to have at least five clients by Spring 2011 AND do one eight week social skills group for kids/tweens with my friend and fellow therapist.
I will get accepted to and successfully complete the Dental Assisting course here at Valdosta Tech. starting Fall 2011 and finishing Fall 2012. I will also start up my 5 day/week workout regimen and make it a habit by February that I let go down hill during the crazy military moving/deployment madness.
My goal of 2011 is to maintain my running fitness including my 50miler race in April and a 3:30 marathon!

Well, in 2011 my aim is to stop lying to myself. I deserve it. I have a workout plan in place, I’m eating wholesome, yummy foods, and I’m trying every day to be present, grateful, kind and compassionate.
