It’s Roon Time, Baby

Hi friends ๐Ÿ™‚ How are you? Hope youโ€™re having a wonderful day so far <3

I started mine off with a product call and a BodyPump class with a friend. BodyPump is pretty much rocking my world, cheesy music and singing instructors aside ๐Ÿ™‚ I push myself way harder during BP than when I do weights on my own.

Post-workout snack:

pancakes

Perfect protein pancakes!

They were a little on the burned side, but I covered it up with almond butter and a splash of prickly pear syrup from the farmerโ€™s market ๐Ÿ˜‰

syrup

This afternoon was filled with errands and to-dos, then I decided stinky Bella needed a date with the bathtub.

My madre bought these for Bellย  – Paul Mitchellโ€™s new line for pets.

shampoo

Bella loved it!

She smells like sweet oatmeal now ๐Ÿ™‚

(So sassy)

Guess what time it is?

My ultimate goal is to get healthier in 2011. I have many “sub-goals” that I am working into my daily/weekly routine to achieve that goal, such as getting 7 hours of sleep each night and meditating daily.

My goal for 2011 is to bring positive healthy habits into my life. With my boyfriend away at law school it can get kind of tough to feel motivated and always cheery. But i know from experience that taking care of my body makes me feel better inside and out. Whether it is making healthy meals, taking new and exciting group fitness classes or just journaling my everyday eats….I want to make great health a habit!

Good luck with everything FITNESSISTA related in 2011!

    I will be 40lbs down by July 30, 2011!

  45. Katie on January 4, 2011 at 10:04 pm

This is a somewhat vague goal but I will learn to listen and respect my body and feelings more in 2011. I spent too much of 2010 focusing on specific numbers and results. This resulted in me pushing myself to the limit physically, mentally and emotionally. This year I am making my happiness a priority in my life!

  46. sara on January 4, 2011 at 10:05 pm

My goal is to tone up and lose about ten pounds by March when my man comes home after his deployment and we go to St. Lucia!

  47. Bridget on January 4, 2011 at 10:05 pm

My goal is to do a triathalon. I am planning on doing the IronGirl in Syraucuse, NY this spring. I have run marathons, so the running isn’t an issue, however I am an AWFUL swimmer. I am ready to change that though and make this the year I become good (or at least decent) at swimming!

  48. Daphne on January 4, 2011 at 10:05 pm

My goal is to run a marathon by March 2011! ๐Ÿ˜€

  49. Marie R. on January 4, 2011 at 10:05 pm

I will save 10% of my income for a new house all year. I don’t plan to move until next summer but I want to start now so that I can combine it with the equity in my current house. Then, get something a little more expensive but keep my payment the same.

  50. Sarah S on January 4, 2011 at 10:05 pm

my goal is to become more comfortable in my own skin this year. this entails working on enjoying being by myself more often, being fulfilled by the small things in life, and focusing on quality time with friends and family. i haven’t figured out quite how i’ll measure this yet, but my fiance (soon to be husband in march) is a marine officer and will be deployed in august, so i’m confident i’ll figure it out ๐Ÿ™‚ this and other healthy living blogs that i’ve discovered since early november are really helping me so far!
