Rodan + Fields giveaway

My normal skincare routine would probably make some people shudder.

It involves using a little cleanser (usually Yes To brand or Juice Beauty) on the Clairsonic at night, nighttime moisturizer, and tinted SPF moisturizer for day. Once or twice a week, I feel fancy and use a LUSH face mask. That’s it. Full-on skincare/makeup routines freak me out a little bit (toner, exfoliator, makeup remover, primer, whaaaaat?!) and I always feel intimidated when I check out new products. If it ain’t broke, right?

Well, my friend Jeni has always had absolutely gorgeous skin. In the 5 years I’ve known her, it’s continued to become even more vibrant and beautiful. When she last came to visit, it was absolutely glowing, so I asked what products she’d been using. (Unlike me, Jeni knows about makeup and skincare and stuff haha.) She had started using the Rodan + Fields products (founded by the same doctors who created the ProActiv solution) and loved them so much that she became a consultant for them. Since I was curious to try it out, she offered to send me some samples when she got home. (And because she’s one of my closest friends and know it’s important to me, she also triple-checked to make sure that the products weren’t tested on animals. Rodan +Fields is cruelty-free and supported by PETA.)

When I first opened the package, I was really excited to try out the facial, lip serum and exfoliator she sent. The verdict? I absolutely loved everything. My skin looked noticeably different in a couple of weeks. Since I found the products to be extremely effective (yet gentle enough for my sensitive skin) I asked Jeni if she might be able to do a giveaway.

Just leave a comment with with your favorite skincare or beauty product. If I had to narrow it down to one, mine would be Moroccan oil. It makes my hair smell great and keeps the frizzies away.

    My Favourite for a while has been Benefit Erase Paste. Just a little under my eyes every morning and I go from Morning Zombie to Normal Alive Person!!!

    I love Lush’s Tea Tree Water and the castor, coconut, and jojoba oil mix that I made for doing the oil cleansing on my face at night. My skin looks the best it has ever looked.

    I have experimented with so many products and I don’t have a real favorite, but I keep going back to vaseline to remove eye makeup and moisturize lips…

    Definitely Yes To! facial cleansing wipes– I alternate between the tomato and cucumber. I’m super lazy with my bedtime routine and these are fantastic!

    I’ve always loved trying out new beauty products (Sephora is a dangerous place for me to go!) but one of my all-time favorite, tried and true products – and probably the one thing I’ve used consistently for 10 years or so – is Cetaphil cleanser. It’s super gentle and never irritates my skin. These products sound great – I’m on a constant quest to improve my skin. Thanks for the giveaway, Gina!

    Great giveaway! My fav skincare product is the St. Ives apricot scrub. A great face exfoliator that I use about twice a week. Helps keep away those pesky blackheads and smells good! 🙂

    I also find a simple skincare routine does the trick. My favorite face exfoliator is mixing honey with sugar. I scrub it in for a minute or two, then let it sit for another minute or two. The sugar smooths flaky skin and the honey moisturizes and has some anti-bacterial properties as well.

    It may be simple but I love Aquaphor. Is that considered a skin care/beauty product?? If not I also love cerave facial lotion…..

    My favorite beauty product as of recently would have to be my Anastasia eyebrow pencil. Being a natural red head with blonde eyebrows, the pencil helps to darken & define my brows to polish my overall look. It really brings my face together =)

    I love Tarte’s maracuja oil. There’s no funky scent, and it absorbs quickly but leaves my face glowing and dewy. Delightful!

    My favorite beauty product is Vaseline. I use it as a make up remover and it is also good for moisturizing the skin and treating wrinkles. I love that it is inexpensive and you can get it anywhere.

    Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil is my current favorite product – I use it on my face every night before bed & its actually made my skin smoother & less oily!

    My favorite product would be Bath & Body Works Body Butter – preferably the {retired} Coconut Lime scent. I’ve been using it for years and love how my skin feels! The Coconut Lime Breeze just isn’t the same…

    My favorite product is Jojoba oil for my hair, it revives the curls. I also love neutrogena combo skin moisturizer, it doesnt clog my pores.
