Savory Vitamix Recipes + a giveaway!

I’ve had a long-term love affair with my Vitamix. It was one of my very first exciting blog gifts, and I’ve used it almost every day since. I even ended up taking it with me on my honeymoon! (Maybe I should be embarrassed that I traveled with a giant blender, but nope. I own it.) I can confidently say it’s my favorite and most-often-used kitchen appliance.

Of course, when you think of Vitamix, what’s the first thing to come to mind?

Smoothies.

I would whip up a green monster and marvel at the fact the greens would actually be pulverized into silky smooth goodness. My old school blender just can NOT do that! Thanks for hosting such an awesome giveaway, Gina šŸ™‚

Oh my; gotta love homemade salsa. It’s SOOOOOO much better than the jarred stuff. I’ve been lusting after a VitaMix for several years, and I am certain that the first thing I’d make would be homemade vanilla almond milk. No boxed brand can come close to homemade šŸ™‚

  20. Erin on January 19, 2014 at 7:09 pm

I would make everything. Smoothies, nut butters, soups, hummus…E V E R Y T H I N G. The blender I have now is an old hand me down from my parents that has no lid and no feasible way to actually clean the blade. I’ve been shredding sponges on it for years.

  26. Katie N. on January 19, 2014 at 7:43 pm

I totally just broke the cheaper blender that my husband bought me 2months ago. I don’t think it’s ever good for an appliance to smoke…

  27. Samantha on January 19, 2014 at 7:44 pm

I think first I would test out some smoothie recipes because you just can’t go wrong with a smoothie and I’ve been drinking a lot of them lately!
