Savory Vitamix Recipes + a giveaway!

I’ve had a long-term love affair with my Vitamix. It was one of my very first exciting blog gifts, and I’ve used it almost every day since. I even ended up taking it with me on my honeymoon! (Maybe I should be embarrassed that I traveled with a giant blender, but nope. I own it.) I can confidently say it’s my favorite and most-often-used kitchen appliance.

Of course, when you think of Vitamix, what’s the first thing to come to mind?

Smoothies.

I will make a great smoothie with the Vitamix.

  46. Kristin on January 20, 2014 at 7:53 am

If I had a vitamix I think the first thing I would make is a smoothie. My current blender doesn’t blend anything too well. I would love to add more veggies to my smoothies which right now is impossible unless I want some chunks. And that probably wouldn’t taste too great.

  47. Ashley on January 20, 2014 at 7:56 am

OMG, perfect timing. My blender just died when I was making a smoothie Friday and I haven’t replaced it yet. Really really could use this. šŸ™‚

  48. Brittany on January 20, 2014 at 7:58 am

I would make nut butter, of course!

  49. Kate D. on January 20, 2014 at 8:04 am

There are so many things I would use a Vitamix to do. But I think the best would be for smoothies in the morning before work. I would love to be able to have one that would completely liquify the greens I add. Currently I get chunks of Spinach or Kale that kind of takes away from the usually great flavor.

  50. Rachel on January 20, 2014 at 8:06 am

Oh my goodness. I’d probably make a giant smoothie first thing!
