10 Days of Giveaways: Day 5 (Gymboss)
Last giveaway of week 1! This one is a product I’ve used for a few years now: Gymboss.
As you guys know, I’m a huge fan of HIIT training and interval-style workouts. I like to time different segments as it’s a great way to change things up and really challenge myself. (Like when I increased the HIIT time from 30-40 seconds hard the other day— it killed me in the best way possible.) I have a timer app on my phone, which is fine to use at home, but when I’m at the gym, guess where my phone is? In a locker. When I go to the gym, I have a small amount of time to get in and get out, and I like to do it without the distraction of a phone. If I have it, I’m much more tempted to check my email, see what people are saying on Twitter, aka waste time.
Gymboss timer to the rescue:
It’s extremely user-friendly, and has a few sound settings. My favorite is to clip it on my shirt and set it on vibrate, so it doesn’t distract other gym-goers. I’ve also used it while teaching classes, especially since the resort is cell phone free and it looks more professional to use an actual timer. It’s one of my favorite workout tools, especially because it’s so inexpensive, and it makes a perfect stocking stuffer for a fitness-loving friend. They recently released some cool new colors, too!
My friends at Gymboss kindly offered five interval timers– one each to five lucky winners. It’s a great little workout buddy ๐
Here’s how to enter:
This one has a quick turnaround as it ends tomorrow night at midnight! The lucky winners will be announced in my Sunday am post.
Ready, set, go!

I love spinning and zumba.
I (love to) hate quick tabatas for cardio workouts. Steady state never really satisfies my need for an intense workout – but circuits? I’m dripping every. time.
Running! Easy to do wherever you are.
Running and interval training!!!
Running is by far my favorite type of cardio, it makes me feel so great and I always want to run more ๐
I never in my life thought I’d type out the following statement….running is now my favorite form of cardio ๐
Ballet is my favorite form of cardio ๐
I do interval circuits all the time and would love to have one of these – so much easier than looking up at a wall clock!
Love the idea of these! That purple color is super cute, too ๐
Running would be my favourite form of cardio.
This would be great for tabata workouts as well!
Running- I feel so much better afterwards.
I love running.
Wow, this would be great to have when I do your Frost HIIT. I loved that workout by the way, it was quite a sweat creator. You are the best!
I love running but the cold weather has forced me indoors and the treadmill is rough on my knees, so I’ve been using the elliptical instead. I’ve been doing more tabata and hiit workouts on here lately and love them. A good timer would make the workouts easier, the one I use on my phone isn’t so great.
I love HIIT cardio :).
Spinning! Best cardio workout ever. ๐
Running is my favorite cardio!
running-hands down! I had a stress fracture this summer and couldn’t run, and I was a total lunatic!
I love HIIT workouts. <3
Running- I can get my best ideas when I am running. It clears my head. I love it!!!
I love running the most!
Great for treadmill intervals!!!!
I like taking a class for cardio like kickboxing or something along those lines. I get too bored on a machine and can’t motivate myself enough to keep up a good pace running outside.
HIIT is the only way to go!!!
I love Zumba on Sundays and Wednesdays, and running the remainder of the week!
I have never heard of this before ๐ It looks awesome though!
haha forgot to say my favorite cardio. I have to say doing crazy dances that I make up when I am only by myself ๐
I’m loving using HIIT workouts for my cardio.
My favorite ‘lazy’ cardio is hoping on the bike to read my book. Depending on how enthralled I am with my book my actual energy exertion can sometimes be limited…. But if if gets me to the gym it’s a win!
My favorite cardio when I go to the gym and I mean business- interval training -all the way. I’m always pumped after some hard intervals!
I was JUST talking about a timer for Christmas!
Having a Gymboss to track my runs would definitely be some motivation to get out and running even in this cold winter weather!
I love running!!
For cardio I love HIIT and running or cycling outdoors :).
HIIT are also my favorite type of workouts. Doing your last one in a couple of hours ๐
HIIT! ๐ I used to use bodyrock back in the day.. but now I create my own workouts by using a combination of youtubers and blogs. So much fun!
I love HIIT cardio!
My favorite cardio is running, but those HIIT workouts of yours are even tougher!
Spinning (:
I always wanted one of these, would love to win it!! Have a great weekend!! Ulli
Zumba is by far my favorite cardio!
Dancing!!! And then spinning!!!
Crossfit & running!!
I love running intervals! It’s so great to increase stamina !
My favorite cardio is HIIT! Since I’m a teacher, my day can be super busy. HIIT workouts help me get in an incredible workout while saving time.
running!
Probably HIIT or some type of Bodypump/circuit that builds muscles while keeping the heart pumping!
Love running for my cardio! HIIT is a close second!
I LOVE running, but started bootcamp about 8 months ago and now I am hooked! I asked for a Gymboss for Christmas!
You actually inspired me to try HIIT a few years ago. And fell in love with it. What an amazing workout….and quick. But I do love the elliptical and running for cardio.
I’d love one of these. I like different types of cardio, but in the past couple I years I’ve really gotten into cycling.
