Scrambled Brain

Hi friends. Hope you had a great day! <3 LOVED reading your random comments this morning. Yaโ€™ll always make me smile ๐Ÿ˜‰

So my brain is fried.

It was a long, hectic, and incredible day, but my throat is killing me and I kind of just need to sit in silence for a second. Iโ€™ll be back in the morning and in the meantime, here are some pictures of Bellaโ€™s new haircut!

I shouldnโ€™t have been so worried to take her ๐Ÿ˜‰

Enjoy your night and Iโ€™ll see ya in the morning with a Facebook fan macaroon giveaway winner ๐Ÿ˜€

xoxo

Something to talk about: Home sore throat remedies! Please donโ€™t say neti pot. My brain is already fried and Iโ€™m afraid to drown it on top of that ๐Ÿ˜‰

I take extra naps, gargle with warm salt water every time I wake up, drink 8 oz water with 1 oz Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar 3x/day, and drink Celestial Seasons Wellness Echinacea tea. In between all that, Ricola Natural Herb lozenges. Oregon Grape seed is a good anti-bacterial supplement.

Bella looks so adorable!!! Red is definitely her color! I have a Westie and he looks soo cute in red too! Especially after a fluffy grooming. Those groomers are amazing! I hope you feel better and I am really enjoying your Fashion posts! It gives me something new to look forward to discovering on my already favorite blog! : )

Bella looks adorable. Warm ginger tea and honey, it works better using fresh ginger.

Bella looks so beautiful and stylish!

I always eat oranges (for the vitamin C) when I have a sore throat and of course the standard hot tea with honey. Hope you feel better soon!!!

    Hi Gina,
Slippery elm tea is a great sore throat coat. Has a maple-y taste and it’s pretty easy to find.
    Feel better!

I’m sorry your sick, it’s no fun having a sore throat especially when you have to teach! We always use raw honey, just squeeze a bit in your mouth or and/or mix some in hot water with lemon. Elderberry syrup is fantastic for sore throats also! We use this one http://www.buy.com/prod/sambucus-black-elderberry-4-fl-oz/q/sellerid/30207532/loc/67984/220201273.html you can also get it at any health food store! Hope you feel better!

She looks so happy!!!! I’ve been “window shopping” doggies that need adoption and look at this happy little girl: http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/19476178 Adorable, right??? Hope the husband comes around.

I miss having a doggie. Have a good day with your girl!

Alka Seltzer Plus for Colds is amazzingggg!!! (yes the kind you let sizzle in a cup of water) I try to stick with Lemon flavor bc then it just tastes like Perrier (kind of ). Just make sure you get any medicine left on the bottom once you’ve guzzled all the water.

    Orrr…

a little bit of whiskey, honey, and lemon juice ๐Ÿ™‚ Warm it up for a few seconds. It helps with mucus too and if you need to sleep. I usually do just a tsp or tbls of each

Hahah she’s so cute. Her arms look like those pipe cleaners we used to use in arts and crafts classes when I was a kid.

Does anyone have Gina’s Protein POwder comparison post bookmarked?
THe search function on here is not helping me ๐Ÿ™ I may have to downgrade to a cheaper vegan PP because sunwarrior is breaking the bank. Need suggestions……

AAw she’s so fluffy!! Ask Angela @ OSG. She was sick recently with same symptoms and did a post. Hope you feel better. I always take nightime Nyquil to sleep; then Dayquil during day. Not exactly homeopathic.
