11/29: Black Friday and Faves
-An amazing Thanksgiving with the fam.

To start off the morning, we hung out here at home in pajamas for as long as possible, watching the parade while eating scones, eggs and turkey bacon. Nana, madre and my friend Marisa came over to hang out and look at sales fliers and then Livi took her afternoon nap. While she was crashed, I did a GPP workout in the garage -the Pie Burn was INSANE- and watched Scandal. After she was awake, we headed to my auntโs house for part 1 of the Thanksgiving feast.
It was everything I had been dreaming about:

After my auntโs house, the guys went golfing over at my uncleโs and then we met at my cousinโs for poker tradition.
After poker, we headed back to our house, where more desserts and drinks were waiting.
Pecan pie bars and white chocolate chip cookies, along with hot chocolate and mulled wine.

The evening ended making our family gift list with the Pilot, drinking mulled wine (this recipe is incredible) and watching Weโre the Millers.

A little clip from the live event we did a couple of weeks ago:
-Oranges on our orange tree! Each year weโve been here, the orange tree has surprised us with more and more beautiful oranges. (Remember when I thought they were limes?) Itโs overflowing nowโฆwe already told our neighbor to pick as many as heโd like.
-Homemade shower and tub cleaner. Just equal parts white vinegar and dish soap, plus some drops of lavender. It still smells a little vinegary, but I love the fact that itโs all natural and the aroma dissipates quickly.
-This song. Haunting and beautiful:
One of my favorite yoga teachers has played it during class, and when I heard it on Pandora the other day, I downloaded it immediately.
-CHRISTMAS EVERRRRRYYYYYTHING. My โrespect the birdโ Pilot gave me full Christmas reign starting today ๐ Excuse me while I snowman-ify the entire house. Muahaha.

I got official permission to get the Christmas decorations out as well โ and the tree is already 1/2 way set up. ๐ Itโs a short season so I need to make the most of it!
Still trying to decide if Iโm going to venture out in a bit โ now that most of the crazy shoppers are done and back to bed. Who knows! I do way more shopping online now.

Iโm so excitedโI just ordered Solibeat and it looks like so much fun! Iโm definitely going to have to spend time on that โLearnโ section though! I think it will be a great workout to keep me energized while studying for finals! I did an intensive pure barre class yesterday and today woke up coughing (I donโt think the two are related!) but I think Iโm going to skip the cardio today and do some yoga inside instead. I shopped from 7:30 last night til 1:30 this morning, then at 8 when my kiddo got up he & I started decorating the house. My cardio for the day was carrying 50 or so boxes up from the basement and then back down also trying to keep calm while my 3 year old โhelpedโ decorate. It is done and my house looks so cheery and bright.
That dress is so pretty!! Whereโs it from? And OMG I looked up that pie burn workoutโ200 freakin burpees!!! Crazy. I bet it was a great workout. And I just have to tell youโI hadnโt heard about madewell until you posted those bootiesโtheyโre gorgeous. So I finally looked on their websiteโwow their denim looks incredible. Iโm tempted to get the stretchy skinniesโtheyโre so cute and they actually look comfortableโlike lululemon legging jeans. Have you tried their denim? Glad you had a nice Tday with your family.

Looks like a really fun day and a great burn! I went for a 4 mile walk on the beach with a friend. Tide was coming in some there was some sprinting, and then the hundreds of steps back UP to the cliff top at the end. That was some burn.
I love seeing pictures of your area. My husbandโs aunt and cousin live in Tucson. Lovely place. Little hot in the summer though.
