Raise Your Roti in the Ayer
Morning bloggies ๐ Hope youโre having a wonderful and relaxing Sunday.
Raise your roti in the ayerrrrrโฆ
Last night, a group of us had an incredible Indian feast at the Chicago Curry House.
The menu was like a textbook- HUGE and everything looked delicious.
There was pappadum and dippers,
Vino ๐
and we dined family style on vegetable appetizers
Channa masala and baigan bhartha
with rice, naan and ROTI!
It was an amazing dinner with lovely company ๐
Sana, Courtney, Kristi and Lin
JT, Jessie, Sean, Laura and Paige
Jackie, Nicci, Mindy and Cortney
After we left happy and with Indian food babies in tow, I met my roomie at the haunted hotelโฆ
and we decided to flee the ghosts and came to another hotel for the night ๐
I just got back from brunch and am about to meet up with Mara and Gena for exploring, but Iโll see you later tonight before I leave!
There is Chicago pizza in the very near futureโฆ
xoxo,
Gina
I bet your Indian feast was glorious ๐
Have a fun day!
You really switched hotels?? Tell us ghost stories!
Yummmm love roti! Looks like a great time with the HLS crew ๐
From what I’ve seen on some of the other blogs definitely looked like a creepy hotel…ick.
I’ve gotta find some friends who like Indian food. I drool over all of your Indian feasts!
I’ve never had Indian food before. And what was up with your hotel?!
yummieeeee indian food!!! i love indian food ๐ we went on friday for our feast ๐ did you use your new camera? happy sunday!!!
I am trying to convert my roommate into an Indian food lover. I haven’t had Indian in far, far too long. This looks soo fun!! Minus the ghosts. Have fun with Gena and Mara!
hahaha. I love that you switched hotels. I would’ve done the same thing. I don’t sleep with no ghosts.
Yes…Chicago pizza is the best!
haha I love our angry faces! Indian food is the bomb!
Haunted? Do tell!
I think it’s funny that you gave Garlic Gold a shout out for sponsoring your hotel fees and never stayed at the hotel! HaHa
they gave me money that was enough to cover my hotel expenses, so it didn’t matter where i stayed ๐
It was great to meet you and share in the feast. You are every bit genuine, glamorous and fun in real life as you are on the blog ๐ As for the Zumba – I had a BLAST at the class – and my abs are feelin’ it today.
Have fun exploring Chi-town and have a safe trip home!
I demand ghost stories!! ๐
What a fabulous group of bloggers! And awesome that there was so much variety.
omgosh! you two beautiful ladies could be twins!
awesomeness! and a haunted hotel?! double awesomeness!

I would have had to switch hotels too!
Silly Gina, didn’t anyone ever tell you that ghooooosts are preteeeend!!! ๐
Tell us more about the haunted hotel! I once worked with a woman who refused to work in a hospital because of the ghosts.

You and Sabrina are like the cutest things ever!
What’s the hotel’s name? Haha I want to look it up and read about the ghost stories ๐ I love haunted places!! But I agree it probably wouldn’t be the best to sleep in a haunted hotel…scary!
google “congress plaza haunted” ๐
Roti is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOw what a great group of peeps and a glorious indian feast!!!
Ahhhhhhhhhhh deep dish pizza is so good! Enjoy it! xoxo

Sorry I missed that Indian Feaaaaaast!! Another time!!! I ended up going to Sabrina’s Mexican dinner which was equally as delicious (however there was no roti in the ayer ;/, ha!)
I heard you guys left the hotel…k, so I went to the 12th floor this morning, ya know to check it our for myself…definite creepy vibes!!! It’s like 27689 degrees warmer for one thing, and there was like NO ONE up there.. how was hotel numero dos?!

Love the group dinner shots! Wow, holy blogger mania! I cannot imagine being around that many bloggers…I am sure you couldnt either before this weekend LOL ๐
Anyway so happy that you got to take part in all of this and please post the pics or direct us to the post where you wore your Rent the Runway dress that caused all that bruhaha (both in real life and in the comments..ha!) before you left. I must have missed that post.
xoxo

LOVE, love, LoVe Indian food! Masala dosa’s are a particular favourite – along with butter chicken curry and biryanis!
Hahaha I love the picture of you and the girls making the “Gina face”!
Damn I crave Indian food every time you post about it. Looks. So. Good.
I think you all look much better when you smile instead of that scrunched up face – it will give you wrinkles ๐
hahah you’re not the first one to tell me that!
I like “mean face” it’s funny.
oh my your weekend was soooo busy! it looks like you all had such a blast, indian food and you taught zumba? how cool!!!! I hope you had a great time.
