A Dilemma [Giveaway Time]

Hi friends! How’s your morning going? The weekend is in sight!

lilly

(LOVE love lilies)

Sorry to those of ya who wanted a better shot of my shoes yesterday! I’m new at posting fashion-y stuff, so I appreciate your feedback… I’m a work in progress 😉 Here ya go:

So, I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to blog about today.

It’s been challenging to get back in the routine after being away, and I’ve been munching omelets for dinner.

omelet omelet

So delicious, so easy.

After last night’s omelet, I got inspired…

lemon

and made some Meyer Lemon Lavender Macaroons 🙂

They’re just like my classic blonde macaroons, with refreshing, sweet citrus, and a fragrant lavender aroma.

roons

But the thing is, there are way too many of them.

roons (2)

My roomies and I could eat them all, but that would be no fun 😉

Want some?

Just leave a comment with your spring fitness goal and I’ll be happy to send some along to one lucky winner. I’ll choose the future roon-holder tomorrow (Friday) am when I wake up 🙂 [Everyone can enter- one of my last giveaway winners was in England!]

Off to work I go. See ya this afternoon! <3

xoxo

My ULTIMATE spring goal is to continue to increase my mileage and run a half marathon this summer, but my shin splints might derail that. In that case, my goal will be to run a sub-30 minute 5K, outdoors, pain free. SO excited about it! 😀

  27. Grace on March 3, 2011 at 7:26 pm

This spring I’m going to start my ultramarathon training for my race in October! Yikes.
It’s also totally coincidental that last night I made vegan lavender snicker-doodles. -love-

    Oh Spring FEVA,
Hotter than that teeny bopper Justin Beiber,
Please let me run my first 5k race.
Don’t let my 2011 goals blow up in my face.

    But sunny sun, sunny sun
    Help a sister out.
I need winter gone, to end this cold drought.
The rays needs to peek out, the rays need to shine-o.
Otherwise I cannot stretch my cold legs, so so albin-o.

  35. Amy on March 3, 2011 at 7:36 pm

My springtime fitness goal is to start working out again. I had to stop working out again during this pregnancy. After the baby’s born we’ll start going for walks 3 times a week again and then when my abs have healed enough I plan to start lifting 3 days a week.

  36. Hannah on March 3, 2011 at 7:46 pm

spend time outside getting ready for my marathon. just taking walks and playing outside in the sun!!

  37. Nikki on March 3, 2011 at 7:46 pm

My spring fitness goal is to one my tummy. I do so much arm and leg work and avoid ab workouts. Well, no more slacking.

  38. Cara Craves... on March 3, 2011 at 7:48 pm

I will be traveling a lot this Spring, so my goal is to stay active when I am out and about.

  39. Jenn on March 3, 2011 at 7:56 pm

My goal is to not be asked if I’m pregnant (I’m not!) anymore. I’d also like to get ready for the Pittsburgh Half Marathon:-).

  40. Kristin (Cook, Bake, Nibble) on March 3, 2011 at 8:01 pm

    xo

  41. Rebecca on March 3, 2011 at 8:04 pm

  42. Chantal on March 3, 2011 at 8:04 pm

Is there really such a thing as too many macaroons? 🙂 My spring fitness goal is to increase my running mileage by a little bit every week so I’m doing at least one 10k a week when the warmer season hits! So far so good 🙂

  43. Jessica on March 3, 2011 at 8:06 pm

    Yoga, yoga & more yoga!!

  44. Suzanne on March 3, 2011 at 8:08 pm

I’m not even in this for the macaroons (I mean…..suuuuuure, I’d take them if I haddddd to….;)), but I thought I’d throw my fitness goal out there 🙂

Goal: find the best playground in my city and make use it to stage a really hard fitness obstacle course….then time myself, then work on getting faster over the spring.

  45. Rose on March 3, 2011 at 8:09 pm

Flat tummy through high intensity intervals, and working out with my husband consistently. (Workouts fly by faster when I have a buddy with me.)

  46. christina on March 3, 2011 at 8:15 pm

WOW! That’s a lot of comments!!

My spring fitness goal is to increase my flexibility by doing more yoga and lose ten pounds by incorporating a wider variety of exercise into my life. Losing 10 pounds would also not suck.

Thanks for always thinking of your readers and their ‘roon needs, gina!

  47. ashley@quasichick on March 3, 2011 at 8:17 pm

My goal is to maintain my focus on healthy living amidst all the turmoil and changes going on in my pesonal life 🙂
