A Dilemma [Giveaway Time]

Hi friends! How’s your morning going? The weekend is in sight!

lilly

(LOVE love lilies)

Sorry to those of ya who wanted a better shot of my shoes yesterday! I’m new at posting fashion-y stuff, so I appreciate your feedback… I’m a work in progress 😉 Here ya go:

So, I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to blog about today.

It’s been challenging to get back in the routine after being away, and I’ve been munching omelets for dinner.

omelet omelet

So delicious, so easy.

After last night’s omelet, I got inspired…

lemon

and made some Meyer Lemon Lavender Macaroons 🙂

They’re just like my classic blonde macaroons, with refreshing, sweet citrus, and a fragrant lavender aroma.

roons

But the thing is, there are way too many of them.

roons (2)

My roomies and I could eat them all, but that would be no fun 😉

Want some?

Just leave a comment with your spring fitness goal and I’ll be happy to send some along to one lucky winner. I’ll choose the future roon-holder tomorrow (Friday) am when I wake up 🙂 [Everyone can enter- one of my last giveaway winners was in England!]

Off to work I go. See ya this afternoon! <3

xoxo

Meyer Lemon Lavender Macaroons?!? What a brilliant idea! I love lavender 🙂 My spring fitness goal is to sweat more! I work out almost everyday but I feel that I need to do more heart thumping activities that leave me dripping in sweat! INSANITY! And I want to deepen my yoga practice and begin practicing more regularly. If I go to the heated studio then I can sweat too!

  5. Emmelie on March 3, 2011 at 10:52 am

My fitness goals are little things – walking/jogging several times a week, sitting up straighter in my desk chair (fitness bc maybe my core will improve ;), and taking regular walking breaks at work. I have a desk job so I’m trying to MOVE more at work.

  6. Faith on March 3, 2011 at 10:53 am

My Spring fitness goal is to add more yoga back into my workout routine. I love cardio and weight training, but need to take the time to slow down and include some yoga too!!

  13. Jill on March 3, 2011 at 10:54 am

My spring fitness goal is to really get into a fitness groove and exercise as much as I can. It just sucks when it’s so cold outside that I have to bundle up before I go to the gym. I’ve been taking some classes, been going to a gym on my own, and sometimes dropping in for additional classes. I used to be so athletic and then I went to university. When it warms up I plan on using a bike a lot and being able to walk places will be amazing!

  14. HB on March 3, 2011 at 10:55 am

To finally get running outside! I can’t do outdoors in the winter, I’m a total wuss.

  15. Lisa on March 3, 2011 at 10:55 am

I’d say my fitness goal is to be able to run 10k in 45 minutes.

  16. J. L. Thornton on March 3, 2011 at 10:56 am

My spring fitness goal is incorporate more yoga into my workout routine! I usually do a lot of cardio and bodypump(!) and love it, but I always leave feeling yoga feeling great too, so I think it would be a great to compliment my strength and cardio routine!

  18. Allywan on March 3, 2011 at 10:56 am

My spring fitness goal is to get bikini ready and start running. Summer is coming and these mini take-5 bars are not helping me at all!!

  19. Amanda on March 3, 2011 at 10:56 am

My spring fitness goal is to improve my half marathon time before I get into triathlon season!

  20. Meg on March 3, 2011 at 10:57 am

  22. Erica on March 3, 2011 at 10:57 am

I don’t have a spring fitness goal. I just want to live happy and healthy, at all times.

  23. Kerry on March 3, 2011 at 10:57 am

I just recently started getting up before work to get my workouts in and my spring fitness goal is to continue with my new workout schedule…sometimes it is too tempting to sleep in that extra 30-45 mins.

  24. Amanda on March 3, 2011 at 10:58 am

  25. Lisa Chin, HHC on March 3, 2011 at 10:59 am

I just worked out this morning and I want to set a goal of working out in the mornings this spring! 2-3x/week and once on the weekend. Thanks for giving me the space to set my goal!

  26. Sue on March 3, 2011 at 11:01 am

Ride my bike to the gym instead of drive!

My spring training goal is to get back to my prepregnancy exercise routine.

  28. Amanda on March 3, 2011 at 11:01 am

My spring fitness goal is to stop stressing over perfection and appreciate my body the way it is. I work out daily and live a healthy lifestlye, so I’d like to start focusing on that, rather than what I need to improve physically.

    Thanks, Gina!

  29. jackie on March 3, 2011 at 11:02 am

  34. Nhung on March 3, 2011 at 11:03 am

My spring fitness goal is to keep with my workouts. I want to build up some muscles.

  35. Julia on March 3, 2011 at 11:04 am

My fitness goal is small since I haven’t been all to active since my pregnancy and my son’s birth. So my goal is to move for one hour a day; to be active for one hour… sounds so easy, and yet it is so difficult.

  36. Katherine on March 3, 2011 at 11:04 am

My goal is to practice yoga 2 days per week and complete 2 pull-ups at the end of the month!

  37. Kristy on March 3, 2011 at 11:05 am

My spring fitness goal is to run my second half-marathon in April and to add more weight training to my workout routine. On a side note…I just bought my first lululemon items(groovy run shorts and run swiftly tech ss)…I must say I am addicted now and I can’t wait to try more of their stuff!

  38. fran hlavacek on March 3, 2011 at 11:05 am

Sheesh! All the runners! My goal is to achieve bow pose in yoga without grunting so much. 🙂

  39. sonia on March 3, 2011 at 11:06 am

My new goal is to lose those last pounds-and this time HIIT training is my new goal, i hate that it makes me sweat and hurt, but i know it works!

  40. Liz on March 3, 2011 at 11:06 am

I ran a 10K in October, and since then I’ve put on about 15 lbs and have lost any running mojo I had. In the coming months I’m hoping to get back to where I was 5 months ago!

  41. aleece on March 3, 2011 at 11:07 am

goal – work out 4 times a week.

  42. sarah on March 3, 2011 at 11:07 am

to run a 5K as close to 21 min as I can. I probably won’t beat my PR, but I am going to try. And, to keep strength training in my routine.

  43. Jess on March 3, 2011 at 11:07 am

My first fitness goal is coming up next weekend–complete a 5 mile race! Additionally, I want to start practicing yoga 2 days a week to work on my flexibility and strength so that I’m at my best to complete some longer races this summer!

  44. Heather on March 3, 2011 at 11:07 am

My fitness goal this spring is to try something NEW every month (going to Turbo Dance for the very-first-time tonight). I used to feel so self-concious about trying new group fitness classes because…what if I’m the very worst??!! I kind of laugh at that now because somewhere along the line I got the confidence to just JUMP IN and you know what? Sometimes I’m tripping over my own feet, but I still get sweaty and have a blast…and then sometimes I surprise myself and look like an old pro. Bottom line: it’s MY fitness regimen…and even if I stink at something new…at least I’m trying!

  45. Kelly @ Laughter, Strength, and Food on March 3, 2011 at 11:08 am

My spring fitness goal it to get outside as much as I can. There is nothing better than getting your workout done in the sunshine!

  46. mi-an dela cruz on March 3, 2011 at 11:08 am

Yay!! i hope i can finally eat some of those yummy ‘roons!! I’ll be running the See Jane Run Half in June so my spring fitness goal is to be training well for it since it’s my FIRST race ever! and also incorporating lots of yoga into it.

  47. Jamie on March 3, 2011 at 11:08 am

My spring fitness goal is to rock my first half marathon this April- the Chesapeake Swamp Stomp! I can’t wait!! 😀

  48. Britne @ Shabbott's Habits on March 3, 2011 at 11:09 am

My spring goal is to increase my long runs to 10 miles. I’ve been battling a case of plantar fasciitis for a while now, but it looks as if its gone for good! Now I just need to get myself back in those running shoes!

  49. megan on March 3, 2011 at 11:09 am

i am training for my first half marathon… i don’t have a time in mind, just finishing it and setting a new PDR is my spring fitness goal!

  50. Rhoni on March 3, 2011 at 11:10 am

Get back to working out regularly…the rain out here in Seattle takes away my gumption. I’ve gotta get it back so I can shed some winter pounds!
